Description of Work: Capital City Exterminating is a great company to work with. Their response was quick and their technician pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. They treated a yellow jacket nest that had established inside the wall of our home near the front door. The nest was bigger than first thought, and they came back to re-treat promptly and effectively. They also helped with rodent prevention in our basement on an ongoing basis.

Description of Work: We've been using Capital City Exterminating for almost 20 years. We live in a wooded area with wood-loving insects, ants and other bugs trying to live inside with us. We get the annual Gold Treatment each year and are always happy with the results. It's comforting to know that should we have a problem, they come back and take care of it. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this service.

Description of Work: I talked with the company over the phone. He was willing to come out, but he suggested some things I could do to save myself money, which I appreciated. I have done those things and the problem with the millipedes has almost totally disappeared. I appreciated him taking the time to text and talk with me though he had not even made a visit to our home yet.

Description of Work: We have a chipmunk issue around our home. Once night, I heard "peeping" and "thumping" coming from the roof over our computer desk. It freaked me out! We had used Orkin for years to eliminate pests and also had other pest control issues and used another pest company. I did not call the same pest company as previously used as the attitude was..."chee, we can put out these traps, but other than that, not sure what you have or what will help". The service man was nice, but did not know what to do except place boxes in the yard. This time I called Capital. Mr. Addair came out 5 minutes early. After coming into the house and listening to my explaination, he walked the yard with his eyes pealed to the ground. He knew and explained what the issue was based upon how the holes looked! He explained the required treatment. Explained the follow up action plan. Today is one week later. There are no peeps and no thumps. The traps are still there since it is getting to be Fall and mice and all are looking for their winter vacation spot. If you have an issue, call these people. They KNOW their business and are good people to deal with......

Description of Work: I called Capital and spoke with a female rep there. Rather than place a service call for me, she advised me over the phone how to rid my house of a sudden infestation of what she called "pantry mites". The problem area was centered around some bagged bird seed in the basement but it was alarming when first seen as I did know what they were. We used her remedy and they were gone within a day or two. I really appreciated the information and not being charged for a service call, as it was something that I could handle myself.

Description of Work: We were having a LOT of carpenter ants on our deck, after putting down new mulch. When a few strays started showing up in the house, we called Capital City. They came out and sprayed the house, the foundation flower beds, and around the house. We have not seen any more.
