Very well. Two sessions were scheduled and no infestation was detected after the second application.

We have used Capital City Ext for various pest control needs for several years. Good service. No issues. They are a local business. Easy to contact and schedule by telephone during business hours. The also provide email notice the day prior to service for Service Plan treatments.

It was expensive but they did a good job.

Everything was great until after the first visit. I had explained to Michelle (I think that's her name) at the office when I booked the appointment that I had pests (unknown what kind) in my attic, so I wanted them to come out and see the extent of the damage and give me quote to get it fixed. They showed up for the estimate appointment right on time and quoted me $268 (approx) to fix what they thought the problem was. I was ecstatic and very happy with this news. However, after they left I realized they hadn't looked in the attic and I hadn't reminded them, so I called to get them back out to check out the attic. This is where they lost my business. I called, left a message about what I needed. No return call Called again, was told they would have the tech that came out the first time call me back. No call Called again, Michelle apologized for him not calling & let me know he would call that day. No call Called again and the tech finally called back and set up another appointment. While I was waiting for my messages to be returned, I contacted other companies and had another company out before I even got a call back from Capital City Exterminating. I decided to let them come out again, but on the morning of their appointment, I canceled via their answering machine as I had changed my mind about the second chance (I was moving and had other items to deal with). The tech still showed for the appointment (they are very prompt) and I had to tell him that I had canceled and why I did. I am not opposed to thinking about using them in the future as they are very nice people and I understand sometimes forgetting or overlooking returning a phone call, but we'll have to see if I even need to use this type of service again.

They are reliable and they do a good job. We tried a number of exterminators before them and nobody can really get the carpenter bees until we used Capital. It's a good value. They are very professional. They always call before they get here. We have pets so they tell us to put the pets in the house.

I noticed a lot of ants around the base of a couple of my split rail fence posts. They were attracted to the posts because the posts were old and starting to rot. I was afraid they would get into my house so I called Ohio Exterminating. The gentleman who came was great. He said he could spray, but he didn't think I really needed it because I already occasionally spray around the perimeter of my house. He said to continue doing what I have been doing, replace the fence posts that were falling over, and I should be ok. What a breath of fresh air to find someone who didn't try to sell me something I don't need! Will definitely call them again!

I have used Capital City Exterminating Company for several years and have consistently been happy with their services. However, this past service was notably exceptional and we could not be happier! This summer, we had a horrible invasion of Wolf spiders outside our house like we have never seen in our 11 years here. They kept me from being able to do yard work and my family from just spending time on our patio so I called Capital. The scheduler who took my call was fantastic in thoroughly answering all my questions and scheduling a technician to come within two business days. Matt, our technician, was excellent and professional as well. He gave us a call ahead as requested and arrived promptly. He was very understanding regarding our concerns of getting any pesticide in our pond and areas where we feed wildlife. He tried to allay our concerns by explaining the pesticide's chemical composition. He even helped my husband secure a tarp around our waterfalls so our frog wouldn't be harmed before carefully completing the application around my house. The next day, I found more dead Wolf spiders than I thought possible. Huge relief! Thank you Capital City Exterminating Company and Matt for doing such a great job for us! A+ plus experience from beginning to end!

They built their nest in the ground so I needed someone to come and get rid of them. They were done in no time. They were very accommodating and arrived on time. I was able to make an appointment within a day and I was very pleased with the outcome. The men were respectful and nice to talk to, and they even explained everything to me. I couldn't have asked for anybody else to do a better job.

I have always used capital city. Eddie continues the tradition of amazing service this company provides. He is the nicest professional you will ever meet. Prompt, polite, and fast. I will use the company again!

Ron assured me they were not termites but ants, and that an application of ant bait would take care of it. He also offered me a lower cost option of simply purchasing the bait from him and applying it myself per his instructions, which I did. Ants gone!

We were concerned that an animal had gotten into our attic through some damage to our roof. The technician talked me through it and we concluded that if an animal had been in the attic, it was no longer there. Expressed concern about mice in basement. Technician provided caulking/putty to two areas on ourside of house where mice might be entering. Installed system for the next year that will kill mice in their nest, similar to termite systems. Explained system to me. Very willing to talk through issues we were having with animals. I've had several insect and animal issues taken care of by this company, and have always been satisfied with their service and expertise.

Matt was the technician that was dispatched. He arrived a few days later within the one hour window they provided and was very neat, knowledgable, and professional. He took his time talking to my wife and I about what we were seeing and then a few different treatment options. He explained how and why ants generally end up in homes and was reassuming that it was not uncommon, expecially this time of year. We were concerned about the toxic nature of the products and he put our minds to ease explaining that they are specific for insects and would not harm pets or kids. We ended up signing up for their Gold treatment plan, rather than a one time treatment to prevent any future issues. So far, no more ants (crossing or fingers). We were both impressed and would recommend them to others.

Following the holidays, we found bed bugs in a couch in our living room. Based on the fact that we travel and there were many people in the house, they could have come from anywhere. This led us to read just about every article online about bedbugs (thanks to the cooperative extension services of many states for posting so much information) and feverishly searched for someone to treat the house ASAP. We removed items from the house and contacted Capital City; there were very few posts on Angies List about successful treatments for bedbugs. Capital City had a long list of recommended actions to take in advance of their arrival. We took two days to prepare the entire house and were happy they were able to come within two days. They treated the house and looked for evidence. We had to be out of the house during this time due to the chemicals they use. Fortunately, there was little evidence of infestation. Capital City returned for a second treatment. We purchased a device to heat items, such as luggage, when we return from trips from now on. The service we received, timeliness of the treatments, and cost were excellent. We highly recommend this company.

They were really good. Customer searvice was good and they were also good at getting back to you.

The service man was prompt, friendly and professional. After putting new bait in the bait houses, he recommended placing a few additional bait houses around the exterior of our home to hopefully stop the mice from ever coming into our house.

Capital City Exterminating Co, Inc inspected my attic for critters. They saw no evidence of animals or birds. The exterior "bird block" was damaged allowing access to the attic. I had observed birds sitting in the opening and heards sounds associated with an animal in the attic. 2 animal traps were setx In 2 weeks, Steve returned and removed the empty traps. We miscommunicated on repair of the damaged bird block. I understood on initial contact that Capital City Ext. did some repair work. Steve informed me that second story repair was not their forte but he could contact a service provider for me. I elected to use my own handyman for the repair. I would have had that done while the traps were in place had I realized Cap City was not going to repair.

Steve was on time to the minute, professional, courteous, and quick! I have used the company before in the past five years and always have a great experience!!!

Matt was very courteous, completely explained what he was doing and answered all of my questions. I was surprised when he told me that he was going to spray outside and that I should just go inside and he would leave when done. I finally understood when I looked out about 15-20 minutes later and there was about a 3-4 foot wide wet ribbon where Matt had sprayed around the house. Matt provided me with a brochure about Capital City's services but there was absolutely no pressure to add other services. The price was reasonable and fair in my estimation. I have not seen any insects since the Capital City treatment was applied. The only issue I had with the entire process was that there was no call prior to Matt's arrival. This was a very good experience.

They went around the entire house spraying for ants and pests. They will come out three times a year to spray preventively. They did a fine job, they were courteous and professional and seemed like good people!

A house inspector noticed evidence of carpenter bees, so I called Capital City Exterminating in the evening. A technician was at the house the next day before noon. I was quoted a price of $175, but the technician who showed up (Matt) said the damage wasn?t as bad when he saw it in person. He said it was also old damage, and that I could treat it myself with a spray. So he sold me they spray and in less than ten minutes I had treated the old bee holes. My final bill was $50.76. Matt was polite, professional, and honest - refreshing!

cost more then it did a couple years ago and they repaired the area that the squirls used to get into house. this time They did not do any repairs

Technician very pleasant, cooperative, efficient; did not leave a mess.

We've been using them every year and we're using them again next years. They seem to be high quality and responsive.

I have been very satisfied with their work, and the technician is always polite and professional. My only issue is that I feel the price is a bit too high.
