They were wonderful! They were so helpful and they did a whole property check. Just fantastic.

The gentleman who answered the phone ask several questions to try to get a description of the what is being seen regarding the holes being dug and the area surrounding these holes. He explained thoroughly what the "problem" most likely is, and that there is no need at this time for me to pay to have someone come out. I felt relieved and very appreciative that my questions were answered fully, and that he was willing to do this over the phone. If need be, but hopefully not, Capital City would be my first choice to contact for a pest problem.

Showed up promptly at the scheduled time. Very courteous and informative. Did not try to high pressure me into additional services or a maintenance contract which I appreciated since some of the other companies on the phone tried this tactic. Overall a very good experience and I would use them again.

I called because we had an emergency situation while having windows installed. Ants were literally "spewing" out of a window that was being replaced. I asked how fast they could be here and they said half an hour. In that time, our technician, John, arrived. He was completely up front, honest, and reliable. He checked the house inside and out, told me what he did and didn't see, and gave me the estimate. We felt it was reasonable so we set up a date for the treatment. John showed up on the date and time as promised. He gave me all of the information I would need to know about safety concerning the products. I watched him spray and I have never seen anything like this! The outside spray goes on with a "power washing" effect. It's truly crazy to watch, but it is very evident that bugs will NOT remain. John was very easy to work with and completely reliable. We are satisfied with the overall results.

Capital City Exterminating Company has always been prompt, professional and courteous. They always call a day before treatment so I can make sure that my pets are inside and all patio furniture is moved from the treatment area. I am very pleased with their service and highly recommend the company.

John arrived on time. He looked at the entire house and yard area. He gave me suggestions such as moving a wood pile away for the house, trimming limbs of the house, etc. He let me know he felt it was carpenter ants that had found water damaged wood from a leak above the garage door. He gave me a quote and said he had time to do the work then or if I wanted to get more quotes or think about it I could call and schedule the work. So there was no high pressure to make a decision. I decided to get the work while he was there. He completed the job and left. He sent me an invoice in the mail and I received a 5% discount for being an Angie's list member. John was very pleasant and I felt he generally wanted to help me with my problem.

John, who I have used before, came out and did a great job. Their customer service is outstanding. When he comes to my house he is very informative of everything he is doing and educates me on potential problems and solutions. I will never consider using anyone else for pest control or animal removal.

They were responsive in setting up the appointment and arrived on time. They were very busy and couldn't get to us for a week, but we have used Capital City in the past and knew they were worth the wait. John estimated the age of the ant nest and recommended the best treatment approach. He willingly performed the additional activities we requested while he was on-site. They provided a 5% Angie's List discount.

The technician, John, was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He found both of the nests of carpenter ants and showed them to me. He was on time and completed the job in a timely manner. I liked the services so well that I signed up for their gold program for regular treatments

We called the company, made a appointment and the technician arrived on time, explained the process and performed the service. John was also very informative as to what to look for and generally, very helpful. Since the house had been empty for over a year, he also returned for an additional treatment. We have not seen the ants since the second treatment.

It was very busy day for them, but they came out right away to help with my situation. They did a great job and took care of everything. It was great that they were able to accommodate my emergency. I will use them again if need be.

This is the forth company that has tried to do this for me, and they were the only ones that were able to take care of the problem. They were on time, professional, and I would definitely use them again.

Very responsive, fast and the guy that came out is very affable. Came right out that very same day and I signed up for annual service so if we have to have extra stuff done, it is free as part of the annual service - that really impressed me. Cost is per first quarter of service.

We couldn't be more pleased with the service we got from Capital City. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, and extremely easy to work with. Our technician, John, came to the house to give us an estimate on what needed to be done and performed the work that same trip. We've actually enrolled in the 'Gold' program, which gives us three visits over the course of the year to keep insects away, along with free "re-visits" should any bugs appear between scheduled trips. We were particularly concerned with a nest of what we thought were carpenter ants (based on what another company told us), but John assured us they were simple field ants. Talk about putting your mind at ease! John also gave us some simple tips on things we could do around the house to keep bugs and other pests away. All in all, we can't say enough good things about the job Capital City did, and would recommend them to others in an instant.

Our contractors found a nest of carpenter ants when they tore out walls in our bathroom. We made a few quick calls to exterminating companies, hoping to get the problem taken care of quickly so the contractors could keep working. Capital City came out the same day, arriving on time as promised and took care of the problem for the exact price they quoted.

I called at 9am and talked to Jeff. He was at our home at 11am and promptly solved our problem. That is what I call GREAT SERVICE.

John arrived on time and placed bait in the basement, garages, and attic. Then we walked around the interior and exterior of the house; he gave recommendations on where to plug holes to prevent mice from returning. He came back 3 weeks later to check the traps and place additional bait in the attic and other problem areas. He was very thorough, helpful, and professional. I would recommend and use this company again.

I originally began using Capital City because we had a terrible problem with several types of bees and wasps flying all over our front and back yard. I called several exterminating companies and was told either there really wasn't anything they could do or I could find the nest and they would come out and kill it. Capital City told me they had a spray that would keep the majority of bees away from our yard. They are GREAT!!!!!!!! They spray the outside of the house, the entire deck including underneath, the downstairs windows, all the flower beds and grass surrounding the house and inside the garage. The technicians are so polite and always knock and let you know they are going to spray. The solution they use is safe for children and pets (you have to stay off of it until it drys) They go above and beyond to make sure they do a great job and that their customers are happy. If they perform a treatment and bugs return they will come out and respray at no charge.

THEY WERE PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL AND RESPECTFUL OF MY PROPERTY. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

Jeff Otworth (technician) arrived 30 minutes early, offered to wait until appointment time if necessary. Asked for description of issues. Clearly stated what he was going to look for to determine best course of action. After investigation he then explained the treatments req'd. I asked about a maintenance program (which I like - he did NOT try to sell me something). He provided the maintenance information while he completed the treatments. I reviewed the information and asked why he recommended the gold maintenance plan vs the platinum - he explained that it was money I did not need to spend and why! WOW! He didn't WANT me to pay for something I didn't need! GREAT service, very professional.

Generally OK work. "The scheduling people are difficult to get to do service call-backs and minimize presence of more carpenter bees unless a group of them is seen ... an annoying issue. Also, service personnel change frequently and aren't necessarily attentive to location of nests - so some are missed. This may also be true of most agencies though. The bored office people leave garbled messages you cannot decipher on answer machines - so you don't know that the spray tech will be appearing the next day! Better have the windows closed and the dog inside! I use this company, but would not recommend it to others.

John came to the house 15 minutes late. However, he was personable and friendly. Stated it looked like an ant issue. Rain prevented him from spraying that day so he put some bait inside the house and stated he would be back Saturday AM. He was there and gone by 9am on Saturday. Told us what to expect and recommended we cut back our shrubs and trees so they didn't touch the house. Very pleased over all!
