That night they came in worse that they had ever before even coming places they had never come in. We called them back and they sprayed again on the 12th. He sprayed inside the second time. That did seem to help. We were told that we would be rid of them within 24-48 hours and they would be gone. Several other companies told us that we would not be able to get rid of them. I called again because they came back. On the 18th they sent a truck out early in the morning. I had to call to see what exactly they did. As far as we know he just sprayed around the foundation of the house and not along the siding like we were told. They are still not totally gone and got worse again. I talked to Jeff again that he would be out by the end of the week. I payed the bill at this point in time and have not heard anything from them since then.

I call them and set up a time. I did not have to be home. They came out when they said they would. Were not able to get to the back of the house because we had a lock on our fence. They offered to come out again to do our back yard and if there were any other problems. Very professsional and kind.

I have used Capital City exclusively for bug control for the past 3 yrs. They are very knowledgeable about bugs and how to control them. They are extremely customer oriented, reliable about keeping appointments, very punctual. Courteous about treating bugs inside the home. Conscientious about pets in the environment. I signed up for their annual gold plan in which they spray down the outside of the house three times a yr, which controls most of the bug problems. They promptly respond to calls if/when a periodic bug problem comes up between scheduled spray times. They always try to send the same technician, so they get to know the property and the specific pest problems. They stay up on the latest bug treatments and will introduce new products if they feel they might do a better job. I've recommended them to two neighbors, both now use Capital City on an annual basis too. These folks are simply great to work with.

We have leased the Sentricon System to eliminate termites for a number of years. We have just renewed the contract again, and received an Angie's List discount. Installation of the system went well. The termites were eliminated and there has been no further damage. We continue to keep the system for preventive purposes. Capital City staff come out on a regular basis to inspect the system and leave a status report. In addiditon to the termites, we have used them for yellowjackets and carpenter ants. They have provided advice for taking care of other pests as well. They are always friendly and professional.

This was smooth and easy. Capital City came the day after I called to set traps. Within a few hours, the ground hog was already caught. They picked him up first thing the next day, but left traps in case he had friends. After a few more days with nothing trapped, they came and retrieved the traps.

Everything turned out well. Their prices seemed competitive and we were happy with their work.

When we found insects and damage in our family room, we called three Angie's list companies. Ron Belknap was the first to squeeze us into his schedule and came out within twenty-four hours. He was friendly and helpful and fully explained how their Sentricon system works. The traps were installed and we have had several follow-up visits by the technician, John. It will be several months until the ground thaws up enough to determine if the termites have been totally eradicated. The service agreement lasts for two years with periodic visits to check the traps for activity. John has been courteous and willing to answer questions when he comes to check the traps. We have been very satisfied, to date, with Capital City Exterminating.

The first year was great and the husband and wife team that own the company were so friendly and made me feel the appreciated the business. The second year was not as great. In fact my fall application was missed due to scheduling issues. I finally called them about it and they said it was too late and would give me the spring of the next year service for free since they forgot. No apology was given. After that, it's gone downhill. The husband and wife are not very accessible and the regular workers are not as service oriented. They got my billing all mixed up on account of forgetting the fall application and not charging for the spring application. They have often mixed up not giving the Angie's List discount and I keep getting wrong quotes. Again no apology or any connection that I am a paying customer that they keep mistreating. Finally after my fall application I waited for a mailed invoice and never got one. I called and spoke with a man that was very matter of fact and told me I was being undercharged. I told him to take care of my balance and that I was going to stop using the company. Again no apology and I was not being rude or anything. When I got my credit card statement it seemed that it was $7 to high for the charge so I called and got the same man on December 29th. He said someone would have to research what the discrepancy was and get back to me. I told him a week would be fine given the holiday. I had not heard anything and finally called on 1/16. I got a call from Ron the owner saying his wife would look into it and that he knew nothing of my concerns. An hour later the same man called back saying he understood I had some questions - like I was trying to get something over on them. He admitted remembering me calling the week of New Years and that I never got a call back - again no apology. I told him I thought he and the company have very poor customer service and that after being a customer for 3 years with all this trouble starting with the missed application that they don't deserve my business and we ended the call.

The actual spraying was satisfactory. My big problem with them & the reason I won't use them again is how they handled the billing. There was a mix up on my payment and rather than call me directly to deal with it, Capital City immediately turned the matter over to a collection agency. Once I found out, I called Capital City and took care of the matter, but now I can't get the collection agency to close the account & they keep harassing me. This was very unprofessional on Capital City's part and therefore I would recommend avoiding them.

They did a good job & their price was good. They were very thorough & took their time to explain things. They came out when they said they were going to & charged me what they were supposed to charge me. If I had any questions I could call them back for follow up about anything. I would rate them overall an A grade & would use them again in the future.

They were very professional. I had to call them back a few times because I saw some ants, but they were very responsive when I called and came back out right away to spray again.

They were able to perform the work on the same day that they came out to do the estimate. The contractor was pleasant and efficient.

We found bed bugs in my son's bedroom (top floor of 1 1/2 story cape cod). Capital City sent John, the exterminator, to my house to confirm it was bed bugs and give me an estimate. I really appreciated this, since other companies sent salesmen or gave estimates over the phone. John explained in detail how he would treat the house and how I needed to prepare for the treatment. He was prompt (early actually) for both the estimate and the day of treatment. He treated every room in the entire house and called me that evening to tell me where all he had found bed bugs. I had done a lot of research on the internet, and knew that most pest control companies insist on at least 3 treatments 2-3 weeks apart, because of the timing of eggs hatching. John said our infestation was light and he thought only one treatment would be needed. I was hesitant but he said lets just wait and if I find evidence (blood smears on sheets, cast skins, etc.) after the treatment, then we can schedule a second treatment. I inspect my son's room regularly. It's been 9 weeks and so far no evidence of bed bug activity. I really appreciate all of John's work and advice he gave me. Oh yeah, an added bonus, the chemicals they use kill all bugs in the house! :-)

Eddie Jenkins took a look in our garage and basement and determined that we did not have any current activity. Suggested we clean the area and keep an eye out for future activity.

Technician arrived as scheduled. Told me nothing could be done regarding the Carpenter Bees until spring. If this was the case, why was I not told this over the phone? I did ask for a termite assessment. Technician walked around my basement with a flashlight looking at the baseboard and the exposed ceiling beams. Went outside and walked around the house. He said I had termites in my landscape mulch. Gave me a DVD and packet on a termite elimination system called Sentricon. Not only does this system cost thousands of dollars in installation charges and maintenance fees, it is also a total scam! Google Sentricon and look for consumer reports. I was very disappointed with being presented with a scam.

They provide reliable, professional monitoring of my in-ground termite system. I don't have to worry about expensive termite damage ever again.

I scheduled an inspection which cost $75.00. Ron came to my house and did a good inspection and confirmed that I had a problem with termites. He told me about two ways of handling termites with the most environmentally friendly one being that of using a Sentricon system. He explained the system and left me a DVD to view which explained the system. He gave me an Angie's list discount of 5%. Still the cost of the treatment would have been $1410.00 the first year and $941.00 the second year. Then $445.00 per year after that. I was able to find a company which would put in and monitor the Sentricon system for half this price. So I did not use this company, but I did have to pay the $75.00 inspection fee.

It was outstanding. John is very very careful and honest. He tells me what I need to do and makes suggestions. I do not feel like he is trying to rip me off. I think he is very thorough.

It went very well. When they came to my home they told me how much it would cost and honored the Angie's List discount. He was on time, professional and polite. We were very happy with the end result.

I've used them for 2 years now. I don't have to worry-they come out when scheduled. They do not need to come inside so I do not need to be home. They spray the entire house, including windows, to keep the bugs out. Very happy.

The workman came on time, took care of the two nests and departed.

I have used them for about six or seven years and they are great. They are professional and knowledgeable. They are always on time. I would recommend them and continue to use them.

The experience has been great. They have adjusted to our schedule. They retreat after it rains without us asking. They treated us well, listen to our concern and retreat if I see more ants after they leave.

They took care of the rodent problem. They were very good. They were professional and responsive. They are expensive, but they do know what they're doing.
