He had to come out twice but did not charge for the second call. Everything was very professional and he took the time to explain everything. He did what he could to save me money and I would use them again.

I wouldn't call them bad, but I wouldn't call them great either.

Excellent. They were extremely responsive, arrived at the designated time, and the technician was very courteous. They called ahead with an approximate time (between 9:00 am and 12:00) and then the technician called when he was within 15 minutes; great people and very efficient.

Serviceman was on time when assessing the problem and upon return with replacement part to complete the repair. Work was prompt, clean and professional. Company scheduler was very pleasant and accommodating - even after I was late for the initial service call.

Les came as scheduled; fixed the ice maker and determined what was needed to fix the dishwasher. He explained what the problem was and what was needed to fix it. He had to order the part but gave me an approximation of the cost and the delivery time. Both were on the money. His office manager kept me informed as to the delivery of the part and we scheduled the 2nd visit as soon as it arrived. Les showed up as scheduled, installed the part and left the area spotless. A pleasant experience and I will certainly call Big Ten Appliance Service if I need any other repairs.

I called at noon to say our refrigerator/freezer had stopped working. And all the food was spoiled. The woman at the office that we couldn't live without a refrigerator. And they would get someone out the same day. Les Rivers, the owner, came out by 3:00. He brought a relay overload kit with him. Off the truck because he said that is what usually goes on Whirlpool refrigerators and he would try replacing that first. He did, and in 15 minutes he had the refrigerator working again. We had been afraid we would need a new compressor, but it was only an inexpensive part. He also advised us to take it off the GFCI circuit it was on. Because it was unnecessary and the power going on and off, as it had, could cause an overload that could blow the relay in the future or damage the compressor. I think that was valuable information.

I received a $3.00 discount since I mentioned that I found the company on Angie's List.

Les called before coming. Les was very friendly and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and explained what he was going to do. Would definitely use Big Ten again.

The company was able to send out a representative in a reasonable amount of time. The bill was reasonable for the work done and a bill was promptly mailed to me.

He had to replace a "door-push switch". I thought it was probably pretty typical for that kind of work.

Very economical for the amount of time the repairman spent there checking over the appliance and repairing it. Company was willing to work with me on narrowing the visit window to comply with my employer's needs. Can easily talk to a human when you call. Washer works great.

Job 1: Appointment was scheduled through American Home Shield. Service rep came at the allotted time and performed the required repairs. I would use them again if I need another appliance repair. Job 2: They are knowledgeable, courteous and do a very professional job. Would definitely recommend them.

Les was on time, very courteous, informative, did very good work. He and office staff were great to work with. I'll call them again when I need appliance repair.

Mr. Rivers was there in the time frame promised and was very polite and knowledgeable.

Excellent in every way. Mr. Rivers was prompt, friendly, polite, and absolutely honest about the age/condition of the machines and what we could expect from repairs. Would happily recommend and will definitely call first for any major appliance repair we might have in future.

On both service calls, Les was right on time as promised. He is very professional and the work was done right the first time on each call. An outstanding job.

I CALLED THEM WEDNESDAY MORNING AND GOT VOICE MAIL. I LEFT MY NAME and NUMBER, EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM WITH MY DRYER, AND SAID I'D BE HOME THE REST OF THE WEEK. I GAVE MY NAME AND NUMBER AGAIN AT THE END OF THE RECORDING. THEY DID NOT RESPOND BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON SO I CALLED AGAIN, GOT VOICE MAIL, LEFT THE SAME MESSAGE, AND OFFERED TO BRING THEM A PICTURE OF THE PROBLEM AREA. IT'S NOW MONDAY AFTERNOON, NO RESPONSE, AND I'M GOING TO START ALL OVER WITH ANOTHER COMPANY. NOT RETURNING VOICE MAIL, EVEN TO SAY "WE'RE TOO BUSY NOW TO TAKE ON YOUR JOB" IS INEXCUSABLE. THEY WASTED 4 OF MY BUSINESS DAYS.

LES RESPONDED RAPIDLY AS HE HAS IN THE PAST AND FIXED THE PROBLEM QUICKLY AND AT VERY LOW COST FOR A SERVICE CALL. I'VE USED THIS COMPANY IN THE PAST AND WILL DO SO IN THE FUTURE. WORK IS ALWAYS GREAT.

VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. THE SERVICEMAN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE PERSON WHO TOOK THE WORK ORDER OVER THE PHONE WAS VERY CORDIAL ALSO. THIS IS A GOOD COMPANY.

THE SERVICE PERSON THAT CAME OUT ASKED GOOD QUESTIONS, AND TALKED EASILY ABOUT THE WASHER. HE ANSWERED MY MANY QUESTIONS, AND SEEMED KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE REPAIR THAT NEEDED TO BE MADE. IN THE END, IT WAS A DRAINAGE ISSUE. NO PARTS WERE NEEDED. I WAS ONLY CHARGED FOR THE SERVICE CALL, AND TOLD THAT HE WOULD GUARANTEE HIS WORK FOR 30 DAYS. I HAVE USED THEM BEFORE, AND THEY ALWAYS DO A GREAT JOB. THE SERVICE PERSON WAS PUNCTUAL, AND FINISHED THE WORK WITHIN 1/2 HOUR. IT IS NOT UNCOMMON TO GET THE ANSWERING MACHINE WHEN SCHEDULING A REPAIR, BUT THEY WILL CALL BACK.

DID A GOOD JOB OF FIXING APPLIANCES. CLEAN AND COURTEOUS.
