Best Service Heating & Cooling

It went great. I've already used them. He came right on schedule and everything was done pretty quick. Everything seems to be good. I called them several days after I purchased the Big Deal and they came two or three weeks later at the time of our appointment.

they sent a Heating Tech, Donnie to check out our furnace. He was courteous and very knowledgeable and very skilled in his trade. He thoroughly checked every aspect of my heating system and gave me suggestions to keep things working properly. He told me that the filters were still good and showed me how to know when they were getting too dirty or clogged. He made sure all of the dampers were working properly and turned on the humidifier as well. Other companies have charged me twice as much for this service. I would certainly use them in the spring for my AC units.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay, I guess. I wasn't here when they did it so I don't know exactly what they did or if it made any difference. I scheduled it and they were really accommodating.

Everything went very well. When I called to ask about the deal offered on Angie's List, the woman that I spoke with was very friendly and explained what would be done. She was also patient while trying to schedule a time to have someone come out. I felt the technician was honest and straight forward with anything he found.

Donnie arrived on time he was very professional and went above and beyond to provide excellent service.

The technichian arrived on time, and was friendly and professional. He said everything was ok, except our filter was pretty dirty and needed changed, which was probably the only thing keeping the furnace from running at its highest efficiency. We didn't have any filters on hand or he would have put it in for us.

Technician arrived on time and quickly went about checking and cleaning system. Pronounced everything in good working order and left.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The service was fine. They were fine but I don't know if I would use them again.

It went pretty good. They did the work one week after I bought the big deal purchase. There were no additional charges. I don't think he checked the gauges, fluids and pressures. He didn't actually perform any work. This was the first time I've used them. I would recommend them but there's nothing overly good and nothing overly bad. They did what they were supposed to do but they really didn't go above ad beyond. I would use them in the future.

Best Service Heating and Cooling did an excellent job replacing our entire HVAC system. We received estimates from 5 different companies. Best Service was very competitive as far as price. It was obvious that some of the other companies we brought in were overpriced. Best Service was right on with what we expected to pay. Russ came in and gave us a fair price for the equipment we went with; a Maytag 100,00 BTU, variable speed, 95% efficient furnace and a Maytag 15 SEER, 4 ton AC. Estimate - When Russ came in for the estimate, it was just that, an estimate. No sales pitch, no hour and half presentation on why I need an ultraviolet air filter, no here is an outrageous price but, I'll take 50% off just for you. Russ came in, we talked about my family's needs, and I received an email the next morning with the estimate. (different options included) In talking to Russ you can tell he wants to give you the best product and service for your budget and his company takes providing families heating and cooling seriously with a sense of greater purpose. Installation - On the day of installation Best Service was starting the install and AEP showed up at my door to tell me they were replacing a transformer and the power would be out for 2 hours. Best Service just took it in stride. They worked in very low light, never said a bad word about it, and had a positive attitude the entire job. They brought in a 3rd tech because there was a communication issue with the unit. All 3 techs stayed unit 8pm on a Friday to make sure my 1 yr old daughter had AC on a 90 degree night. They even came back the next day to make sure everything was working and replace a circuit that was working just to be safe. All in all Best Service went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. They understand that replacing an HVAC system is not a small purchase and spending 7 grand is not something we do on a regular basis. Especially since our HVAC went out within 3 months of moving into our new home. If we do have to spend that type of money we want to make sure we get the best product at a fair price. We got that with Best Service.

It went actually pretty good. The day of the appointment was a little bit farther out than I liked but they were pretty full because of the big deal discount. They got here on time and everything worked out pretty good. They couldn't finish everything I wanted because it was raining. They rushed it a little bit, but like I said, it wasn't their fault they had to because it was raining.

I bought a daily deal from the company. Our AC was really acting up and working hard. Bought the home in winter and the inspector could not inspect it because it was too cold out and would damage the unit. The tech came out and gave it a good inspection. Explained the issue (compressor) and then instead of telling me how I would need to buy a new unit that second.....which I fully expected, gave me my options. He suggested replacement of the entire unit over replacement of just the compressor since they are so expensive, and a new unit wasn't that much higher in the scheme of things. Then he said it would hold on a bit longer, but I could plan for it's eventual replacement. I knew the unit was nearing its end of life cycle, but it was nice to know I could buy some time. Because they were so honest, and did not do the old hard sell I will be buying a new unit from them when this one stops working. I will also go to them to replace a furnance that may be in the same shape.

I bought a big deal and the provider contacted me through Angie's List very quickly. I called them and they were able to set up an appointment within the same week. The inspector showed up and put on booties prior to walking in the home, which I liked. He was very quick and efficient. He looked at the furnace, the A/C unit and did measurements of the temperature. He explained the measurements to me and broke it down in very simpole language since I don't know much about HVAC. He was able to answer a couple questions I had about our A/C unit. He shared that everything was working well. The only problem I had was that they provided a 4 hour window, from 9am-12pm, and the technician arrived at 12pm.

My air conditioner failed during 95+ degree period. They worked me in because of my situation and installed the new unit quickly. Everyone, including the installers and office workers, were friendly, clean and professional. They even put covers over their shoes before they entered my home. I have been using this firm for almost 20 years and have never had a negative experience.

They arrived on time, asked me about what was going on, and inspected the unit. They found that a part had burned out and also determined that it wasn't necessary to replace that part, we could just bypass its circuit, which worked and didn't cost extra. I was VERY pleased with their attitude, professional manner and the fact that it didn't feel like they were trying to just take my money. I will definitely use them again and tell anyone I know who's looking for a furnace/AC repair company that they are GREAT!

Very professional. Took the time to explain my HVAC system to me. I really appreciated the extra time spent. They did an excellent job, I can't recommend them enough. A real pleasure to work with, I will defintely be using them for any future HVAC needs!

I made the appointment a fair amount in advance (due to the Angie's List Big Deal, this was a very popular service! ) The appointment had to be postponed once due to thunderstorms, but when the weather finally cooperated so that the appointment could be kept, the AC technician (Bob?) was very prompt, thorough and professional. He checked out the blower unit inside, as well as the compressor outside, taking & recording several measurements that would mean something to an HVAC pro, but not much to me, although he explained what it was he was doing.

Robert arrived on time, was courteous and efficient. Once we cleared up why he was there, his work order noted that I had no AC and he was there for the pre-season special, he got right to work. He let me know the system was working properly and he found no issues. Hopefully I will have no AC issues this summer.

The technician came out and looked at the A/C. He advised that while the house empty all the copper was taken. In order to replace all of the copper and do the cleaning – it would cost a lot and we still wouldn’t know if it would work. He gave us the options and we have decided to price out new systems.

I selected Best Service after reviewing Angie's List recommendations. When I called, their scheduler suggested that I purchase their annual check-up offers on angieslist at $39.95 each for the furnace and air conditioner. Since my furnace stopping working during a late-spring cold spell, she did her best to rearrange their schedule to make my appointment as soon as possible. The technician called ahead, arrived within the appointment window and completed his inspections quickly. Since my furnace started working again before he arrived, he explained and showed me the most likely cause for the malfunction and suggested that rather than repairing what was working again, I should wait to see if it fails again. He gave me the choice whether to spend extra now to make a preemptive repair to the furnace or wait. I chose to wait. He did an extensive cleaning of the air conditioner coils and thoroughly tested both heating and cooling. I highly recommend them.

They were very helpful and I was very pleased with their service. They fixed the wiring of my thermostat, because somebody else messed up. I plan to start using them for my annual maintenance. It was good and I am happy with them. I chose them because of their price and the friendliness of the person that came out.

They came and diagnosed our problem, then offered several options for how to proceed. We opted to replace our outdoor and indoor units. Their quote seemed very reasonable overall. They added us to their schedule as quickly as possible, came on time, offered some advice during the process, and asked relevant questions to complete their task. The entire time all crew members (especially the owner) were very polite, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. The staff in the office answering the phone is also incredibly friendly and helpful. Would call again for any issue.

Was called by office and given an hours heads up, they showed up in 30 mins, so he went to next appt and came back 2 hrs later. Other than that, he was great. Showed me what I need to do in future to keep unit running and clean. Really appreciated all his input.
