Best Service Heating & Cooling

I was impressed with Best Service Heating and Cooling throughout the entire experience. I received a call to schedule an appointment within 24 hours of buying the Big Deal. When my appointment was scheduled, I was given a 4 hour window on the date of the appointment along with a promise to call and let me know when the technician was on his way. The day of the scheduled appointment I received a call telling me the tech was on the way. He arrived a short time later, apologizing for the delay (due to a traffic delay caused by a traffic accident near the highway exist closest to my subdivision. Frankly, I didn't think the time between the call and the tech's arrival wasn't unreasonable, but the tech was concerned that I may have been put out. The tech started by inspecting all the ductwork and pipe leading to and from the furnace. He then inspected a variety of components in the furnace and cleaned a small trap. He also used several handheld meters to collect various reading pertaining to the performance of the system and made sure all were within the recommended range. While conducting the inspection, he educated me on the basics of the system and what I should do to make sure the furnace continued to operate safely and efficiently. I will definitely use this company again.

One of the super saver deals, fast response call back for an appointment time. arrived on time, checked the furnace all over and commented on how well the unit had been kept up, as it is about 20 years old now. service tech was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable.

They completed the work on the 12th of the month. They did the HVAC tune up portion of the deal. One technician came out and was here for about 2.5 hours. He was on time and did a great job. This was the first time that we used them. We had a couple things where one of the units did not quality and the other was double priced due to it being a heat pump. The technician was responsive with getting back to us, but the office has yet to get back to us about the additional cost.

Rob came in to do a routine inspection on our furnace and found that two of the heating elements were not on. After extensive testing, he found that a fuse assembly was bad. He ordered the part that came in quickly. Unfortunately, it was the wrong part. Two days later, the part came in and Rob came back to replace the part. The furnace has been working well ever since. The service was very professional and Rob was very personable. He was at our house a reasonable amount of time for the work done. I'm very pleased with the quality, professionalism, and cost of Best.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was good. They came out the next day after I purchased the service. They were willing to come out the same day I bought the deal, but I was unable to be here. I thought they were very reasonably priced and they gave me a quote on replacing my air conditioner. Their price was competitive with another competitor and I was really happy with Best; they did a good job.

The service was terrific. The gentleman that provided the service was top notch. Personable, very experienced and a very nice man. Had this service performed before by another company 2 years ago - no comparison. Serviceman explained everything to me, which the other company didn't tell me anything. We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out excellent. They were very easy to deal with, knowing that my dad is elderly. They called me, and dealt with me, and worked very well with me to get it done. My dad was very happy with them. He said they were very professional. The lady that works for them is excellent, and she has excellent customer service. He gave me some options of getting another system that was not efficient, and I think the price was good. I thought their service was excellent. I have recommended them to my sister.

Completed check. While technician was on site the fan on the A/C unit seized up - he quoted price for new fan motor and blade. Price seemed extremely high for a small fan motor that i could buy myself for around $100. Also checked the furnace. Tech stated the fan in the furnace was dirty and needs to be cleaned- Shouldn't cleaning the fan be part of the tune up? I feel like the only thing the guy did was check some guages to make sure Amperage, pressure and output was correct. I don't feel any other tuning was actually completed. Maybe that's what i get for paying for this service through Angie's list. The company should provide a check list that shows all the items covered during the "tune-up".

Best Service was absolutely great to work with. The technician came out during the designated time frame and I got a call ahead as well. He was polite and professional. He taught me some good pointers and really seemed to enjoy what he was doing. I highly recommend them and I will most definitely be using them in the future.

It turned out very good. They came out pretty soon after I purchased the big deal. They came when we wanted them to. It was probably within a week or two after we called them. I just paid for the price of the big deal. They were excellent. They did what they said for the price of the big deal. We actually used them again a couple of months later for something else and they were very good.

It was just fine. I like the good price. There’s no complains that I could see. There are no drawbacks or negatives. Everything went okay.

They are on time as they promised. During the first visit, no problem was detected but in the afternoon I found some clogging in the drain and called them back. They came back on the same day, and fixed the issue. Very good and very honest.

Best found issues with AC. I had to push or question the tech to find out what was best way find out what the issues were. The guy had a hard time explaining how to fix it or find out the exact issue. I felt like he thought is was somewhat funny i could not understand all the parts of a AC unit? Also, when hit up with a possible 4500 bill to replace a unit, you would think they guy would learn a little bed side manner? My 80.00 check up turned into a 400 bill to just find out the condenser was bad on the inside? Not going to use them to replace the 1500 issue he narrowed it down too in the end. You would think they would cut me a deal after I paid them 400 bucks to replace the bad part and get some more work?
