Best Service Heating & Cooling

Rob called me ahead of time to give me an ETA on his arrival. He provided the service and answered all my questions about what he was doing and why. Thank you As a note due to the fact that I was out of town on business they rescheduled the service without any issue or additional charges.

Rob was wonderful. He was courteous, professional, and thorough. From the moment I saw Rob, I knew that he was a "winner" because he began playing with my cat through my front door. Anyone that takes the time to play with an animal is a real gem in my book. Beyond that, I was very pleased with everything that Rob did. He treated my home with the utmost respect. He did a very thorough inspection of my furnace and assured me that everything is in good working order. I could not be more pleased with Rob and Best Service Heating and Cooling. I will definitely use them again.

Another general contractor was doing other repairs on my house. They looked at the system (in error, they didn't know I had already contracted someone else). The contractor took photos of all the things that were wrong, and fixed them, at a cost of $250 I don't like that i had to pay for the same service twice. Not sure why Best Cleaning did not do the appropriate servicing, as contracted. I would like my money returned. .

Very professional. Inspection was done efficiently and inexpensively. Inspector didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need.

Overall they provided quick and same day service. I was very happy.

Our A/C unit went on the fritz on Sunday afternoon. I called around Monday morning to a couple of places and was able to get an appointment that afternoon with Best. I spoke with Russ over the phone and after setting the appointment for the afternoon, he called back shortly thereafter to say he had a cancellation and that they could come right over! While this was partly luck, I was excited to have them look at the unit to see what was wrong as soon as possible, since this looks to be the hottest week yet of the summer, and the house was already pushing 80 degrees inside. They came on time as promised and evaluated the situation. Immediately the serviceman deduced that it was the capacitor. Went out to his truck and in about 10 minutes my A/C was working again! We were relieved to know that we did not have to replace the whole unit which would have unexpectedly cost us thousands to do. We've used Best two or three times before for other furnace and A/C service and have never been disappointed. The only caveat I would say, is that I did not receive the 10% discount for AngiesList members as advertised...even when I brought it up to the serviceman.

We had an older heat pump.central air unit at 19 years old. I noticed that it was taking a long time to cool the house recently. I went to check on the unit in the basement and water was dripping off the lines. I contacted Best the next day, they had a technician come out the next day. Turns out needed a part that would cost about $600 to complete and per Russ at Best, (owner of Best),no promise it could last. So after discussion with Russ, decision was to go with installation of a new unit due to ours was older. They were able to install the new unit in about 7 hours. Russ was very helpful in obtaining some rebates for us to get the cost down. He was always helpful and available on the phone for questions. The technicians were great too to work with. They were always addressing my questions and concerns. Very satisfied with the new unit and the service. We have been with Best for about 20 years now and they have always been great.

The technician did a thorough inspection of the AC, explained and answered all questions. One of my sons had recommended this company after having the technicians repair his older furnace. My son was happy with the repair work and thought the charges were very fair. With my son's recommendation plus reading the reviews, I knew this would be a reliable, trustworthy company ...and it was. I would definitely recommend this company for all HVAC issues.

This is the 2nd time I've had BEST come out and do a pre-season inspection on my a/c unit. They do an excellent job. They take the time to explain everything and keep my a/c running all season long. During the appointment I had also requested an estimate for a new water heater, and they have not followed up on that to date.

My experience turned out pretty good. It took them about 40 minutes and one worker to do the job.

It went very well. He was punctual and very professional. He was also respectful of our home and made sure he put on the booties before coming in. He also completed the job very quickly but thoroughly. Finally, it so happens that the A/C started leaking a couple of days before the appointment, so he checked that for us and cleared out the line with no additional cost. Unfortunately, the A/C continued leaking, so we called Best Service back to come take a look. They came out and were able to diagnose the problem (clogged pvc pipes) and fix it very quickly and easily. Because we had called them within 30 days of our first service, they were able to unclog the pvc free of charge. Will definitely recommend Best Service and call again if we had any future issues. Fantastic. Everyone I worked with from scheduling to the technician were professional, knowledgable, and quick. The tech answered all my questions honestly and wasn't bothered by me at all!

It went well. Everything was fine, no complaints at all. Everything was more than acceptable. The staff were fine, polite, and on time. I would buy another big deal from them again.

Arrived timely did good job would use again

It went very well. Our only complaint is that they do not schedule times; therefore, it is almost required to take an entire day off work for the service.

The service went very well! He took the time to explain everything and answer any questions. He did not try to up charge me or sell me additional services that I didn't need. My A/C had 6 inches of mold around it that was put there by landscapers and he went above and beyond and removed this himself. Great experience!

During the maintenance, it was discovered that one furnace needed a new blower motor that had to be ordered. The service man will be back out tomorrow to install the part. That was fast! Due to this service experience we will be entering into an annual service contract to maintain these units twice per year at a reasonable cost.

We bought two of these deals and they came out in the summer to tune-up the A/C, then again just before winter to tune-up the furnace. Very professional, polite, spoke plainly about how our equipment was looking and gave good advice for keeping it running well.
