On time, called ahead and talked beforehand on looking at water heater also, which I ultimately replaced in the interim. Real professional and made good suggestions that I can use for a lifetime. Will reach back to them when I need a new furnace, which will hopefully not be for awhile.

This is the second time I have had Donnie at my home. I initially met him when I bought a $39.95 Angie's List furnace checkup. I was impressed with his knowledge and technical expertise. In talking to him I learned of several other issues connected with my furnace and humidifier. The blower wheel was damaged and needed to be replaced. The other issue was the original placement of the humidifier. I had bought an Angie's deal about 4 years ago for the installation of an Aprilaire humidifier for $399.00. The original installer subsequently went out of business and moved out of town. It never really worked properly. Donnie told me that it had been installed improperly. The unit need to be at least 6 inches below the control panel and it needed to be installed on a level surface. It had been installed on an section of duct work that was angled. He is very conscientious and meticulous about his work area. At no time did Donnie try to sell me on any of the above issues that were found. I called his company for an estimate for the issues he identified during his original furnace inspection. They quoted me a price of $410.00. I agreed to the price and settled on a date. He arrived on time. He moved the Aprilaire unit, reinstalled it and it started to work immediately. He replaced the blower wheel. While talking to Donnie I told him of my wife's complaint of always being cold in our master bedroom and bath. I have zone heating and cooling. He was able to troubleshoot the problem, correct it and get the air moving into our bedroom and bath. I was present during all of the work that was done so I feel comfortable commenting on his work habits and integrity. I had agreed to a price of $410.00 for the humidifier correction as well as the new blower wheel. Donnie did not charge me any more for troubleshooting the zone heating issue. I now have an Aprilaire that works and is more accessible. Now in the future I can easily inspect and clean it. Because of the blower wheel replacement, the furnace is working properly and not making a noise. Perhaps more importantly our bedroom and bathroom are warm and my wife is happy. At no time did Donnie try to sell me on any of the above issues that were found. I called his company for an estimate on the issues he identified during his original furnace inspection. I intend on calling him for any future furnace or A/C issues I may have. I am quite happy with his work and his honesty.

Friendly and knowledgeable. There was no attempt to oversell services (as I have experienced in the past with another well-regarded HVAC provider). I will definitely keep Best Service in mind when I need to have my AC inspected/serviced in the spring, regardless of whether or not they offer a coupon.

Excellent service. Furnace kept kicking off and the house was freezing. Technician came out and quickly diagnosed a sensor needed cleaning as the problem. He cleaned the furnace and everything is working great! Service was thorough and fast. Technician was very nice. Will call Best Service again for AC tuneup for summer and also future fall furnace maintenance. Very pleased with the work completed. I will recommend them for anyone who needs service.

Offered advice on 2 things that we could do ourselves. did not try to upset the agreed upon service price. Unusual.

They called promptly and set an appointment. The service technician, Rob, showed up on time and got right to work. He was polite, professional and seemed to be very thorough. He explained his activity to me as he worked. I could not have asked for more. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Best Service Heating and Cooling were prompt to call us to set up an appointment to check our furnace. They were very flexible with our schedule when determining a time for them to come to our house. They called us 30 minutes before they came to check our furnace. When they arrived, they serviced our furnace. They also educated us about how our furnace works, the condition it was in, and where things were located on our furnace. They we very professional, and we were please with their work.

Donnie was very professional and knowledgeable. He fixed a loose wire that prevented one of the climate zones from working. He suggested several other corrections to my system but was not pushy. I had complete trust in his recommendations and will pursue them in the near future.

Rob arrived on time. He was professional and quite pleasant to deal with. He checked out both furnaces and gave them a clean bill of health. He did not try and sell me on any other service. He seemed honest and very professional. I would definitely call upon this company again. I found out they also do water heaters. I have one at my rental that probably will need replacement sometime in the new year. I will definitely call upon them for an estimate.

Service technician was punctual and very polite. Performed a thorough inspection and clearly explained the results of the inspection to me.

He was through on checking all the mechanisms and ensuring they worked properly.

Rob first checked the furnace and said that all was in great working order. When checking the humidifier, though, Rob discovered that the water line was plugged indicating that, likely, it hadn't been working for many months. I was grateful for his keen eye and expertise as now I will have a working humidifier. Rob was cordial, laid back, knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to explain to me in detail, without being condescending, what he had done, what he had found, and how he corrected it. He did what he came to do quickly, appropriately covered his shoes when entering the carpeted area of my home, and completed the job with complete efficiency. Great job, Rob!

Rob came at the time agreed upon and checked my furnaces for proper functioning. He did a thorough check and provided a detailed description of the work he performed and his findings. He also answered my questions in a knowledgeable and professional manner.

the deal i bought was for $40 but it only covered one inside unit - so I had to pay more to cover the rest - The technician was very friendly and professional and came quickly.

I knew essentially nothing about my furnace, so I appreciate that he took his time and explained each step of the process, making sure that our furnace is operating correctly and efficiently, and there were no safety hazards. Probably the best transaction I've had on angie's list thus far, from purchase, to scheduling, to on time arrival, through completion of service the job was professionally handled. Travis arrived on time to install a new Aprilaire digital humidifier. He was very professional and explained what he was going to do. After the installation, he showed me how the humidifier worked and what I needed to do. Based upon his instructions, I was confident that I could make any necessary adjustments and the exterior weather got colder.

The technician jumped right in, and diagnosed the problem. He explained the malfunction in a way the layman can understand, and attempted to repair the part in question. Unable to do so, he ordered a new part (Inducer Motor), made the install and tuned-up the furnace; adjusting the gas flow and making the unit operate more efficiently. He checked to see the proper temptures were being generate and adjusted the humidifier. Great Job!

I purchased the Big Deal from Angie's list for a pre-season inspection and during that inspection some issues with my furnace were found and it was not working properly (no heat). This job was complicated and not easy. Russ (owner) was wonderful to work with. The gentleman who came to do the inspection was also very good. The person who preformed the work (Donnie) was fantastic. Donnie is smart and knowledgeable and knows his trade. He is a true craftsman and takes pride in what he does and my furnace actually looked neat and clean when he was finished with the job. Donnie even tightened my thermostat that had been wobbly since the actual furnace install. This company is conscientious (beyond anything I have ever seen), honest (I was blown away at how honest they were with me), fair, and they stand by their word. I was very stressed at the possibility of a large expense to fix the furnace and all I can say is this company was an all around joy to work with. I will never use another HVAC company again as long as these guys are around.

I was scheduled for my preferred date, in the after noon block. The service tech, Rob, was professional and very friendly. My pilot light had gone out, so he replace the igniter switch. He checked everything in the furnace to make sure it ran properly. I asked him about the attached humidifier and he went out of his way to make sure it was working well, too. That was exceptionally nice because I've lived here 2 years and never used the humidifier.

It was okay. The guy who came went out the door without talking to me about anything concerning the services. I called them back because my alarm went off and a leak was detected. The next day they sent someone over to check if everything was okay.

Tech was polite and informative; used shoe covers and cleaned up after.
