The man came out and looked at my basement. He told me he'd send a written estimate but I never heard anything from them.

Bill Johnson, the owner, was on-site most of the time. The workers, especially the foreman, were very well informed about the process and their job. Very polite, cleaned up after the job very well -- overall I was happy with the job.

We had a number of companies come out for estimates. We were disappointed in this company's response. Each one of the other companies made suggestions for fixing our water issue and gave us estimates. The two men that came out were 45 minutes early. I do appreciate timeliness, but was out with my toddler running errands and getting lunch and had to leave a store to come home to meet them, as they called from my driveway to tell me they were at my house waiting for me. They did not offer advice, as every other company did and they refused to speculate on the problem until we had removed the drywall (the drywall had minor water damage). They gave us a number for another man who for $90 could come and take out a chunk of drywall and ''evaluate the problem''. Ummm... no thanks! We had another company refer us to someone for replacing the gutters and drains and also are having a patio fixed to help with drainage. No inside work (or taking down of drywall had to be done!). We were very pleased with the service provided. The workers came when they said they would, completed the job in two days, and stayed true to their estimate. They made sure to lay drop cloths down in order not to soil carpets and cleaned up after themselves when done. We would recommend this company.

Generally a good experience. Bill and John spent a lot of time during initial visit and came back to meet with my husband to answer his questions. Arranged for us to get estimates from an associated plumber to address underground downspouts/drainage. Hauled away all debris. While there were very minor issues (like the clothes dryer vent was not tightly reattached), John did call a few days later to see what we thought and even stopped by to tighten the washer hook-ups that were hard to tighten by hand. The basement looks 500% better!

THEY GOT THE JOB DONE PROMPTLY, IT ONLY TOOK THEM 3 DAYS AND THEY DIDN'T MAKE A BIG MESS. THEY CLEANED UP AS THEY DID THE WORK. THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH, AND I FEEL THEY GAVE ME A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. I HAD A NEIGHBOR WHO USED A DIFFERENT COMPANY AND ONLY HAD A FRACTION OF THE WORK THAT I HAD, AND PAID MUCH MORE THAN I DID. IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE AND I'VE REFERRED THEM TO LOTS OF OTHER PEOPLE.

BILL AND HIS TEAM DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. OTHER QUOTES FROM COMPANIES STATED WE NEED TO TRENCH THE INSIDE OF OUR BASEMENT FLOOR. BILL SAID THAT WOULD NOT ADDRESS OUR ISSUE OF ONE WALL BOWING. HE DISCOVERED DOWNSPOUT DRAINS UNDER THE GROUND WERE NOT CONNECTED AND HAD BEEN CRUSHED, AND THE WATER FROM THESE DOWNSPOUTS WERE GOING RIGHT AGAINST THE FOUNDATION. HE WAS ALWAYS ON TIME, AND DID OUTSTANDING WORK. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR KNOWLEDGE AND COST.

BILL WAS COMPLETELY THOROUGH, AND EXPLAINED SEVERAL VARIABLES THAT COULD BE CONTRIBUTING TO OUR MILDEW SMELL ISSUE. ALTHOUGH THESE CHANGES DID NOT PROFIT HIM, MANY OF THE CHANGES DRASTICALLY REDUCED THE SMELL. TWO OTHER COMPANIES CAME TO OUR BASEMENT, AND BOTH IMMEDIATELY RECOMMENDED THEIR OWN $6000-$7000 ''FIX'' OF WATERPROOFING THE BASEMENT. BILL WAS VERY HONEST, AND TOLD US THAT HE DID NOT BELIEVE THAT IS WHAT WE NEEDED AT ALL.

VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COMPLETED WORK IN A VERY WORKMAN LIKE AND TIMELY MANNER. I WOULD GLADLY USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN IF SO NEEDED.

I LOVE THE FACT THAT THEIR WORK IS WARRANTED FOR LIFE. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND ON TIME. HE GETS EXCITED WHEN TALKING ABOUT FOUNDATIONS. HE IS VERY GOOD AT DIAGNOSING DIFFERENT PROBLEMS WITH FOUNDATIONS. YOU CAN LEARN A LOT JUST BY TALKING TO HIM. HE WORKS WITH A PLUMBER WHO DID THE DRAIN TILE WORK, A RETIRED FIREMAN, WHO LEARNED PLUMBING FROM HIS FATHER. AFTER THE WORK WAS DONE, THEY CAME BACK TO INSPECT THE WORK. HE WAS HONEST ABOUT HIS PRICE. HE LET ME KNOW HE ISN'T THE CHEAPEST, BUT THE WORK IS THE BEST. EVERYTHING WAS VERY, VERY NEAT.

WILLIAM JOHNSON CALLED ON JULY 5TH TO LET ME KNOW HE WOULD ARRIVE ON JULY 6TH IF THAT WAS OK WITH ME. ARRIVED 15 MINUTES EARLY ON THE 6TH. HE AND HIS PARTNER WORKED WELL TOGETHER. THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME. HE COMPLIMENTED PREVIOUS WORK DONE IN THE BASEMENT AND DID NOT TRY TO GET EXTRA WORK FOR HIMSELF.

PROMPT, THOROUGH, HONEST, TIMELY. I INTERVIEWED AND OBTAINED BIDS FROM FOUR COMPANIES BEFORE HIRING BASEMENT REPAIR SPECIALISTS. OTHER 'BIGGER NAME' COMPANIES TRIED TO SELL ME THEIR TOP-OF-THE-LINE SOLUTION. MR. JOHNSON TOLD ME JUST WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE TO REMEDY THE PROBLEMS AND SOLD ME ONLY THAT. HE AND HIS COMPANY HAVE INTEGRITY; THEY ALL HAD A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR, BUT WORKED EXTREMELY HARD AND TOOK PRIDE IN THEIR WORK. HE WOULD NOT ACCEPT ANY MONEY UNTIL THE JOB WAS COMPLETED. THAT'S UNHEARD OF THESE DAYS! I'D HIRE THEM AGAIN IN A MINUTE.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE NEEDING REINFORCEMENT BEAMS IN THEIR BASEMENTS!
