They never called me back - no work was done

I decided to use them because they asked more questions than anybody else about how I was going to use the deck. They also adjusted design improvements to it and were the only ones to present me with a 3-D model of what it was going to look like.

It was a long process due to parts on back order. We really liked Archadeck. We thought they were very good at the planning session, in listening to our ideas. The craftsmanship was very good.

We wanted a new deck on our home, I had drawn out an idea on a post-it note. Once We met with Michael after interviewing multiple people, Michael was able to take my post-it idea, put it into his computer and make it a reality. He took care of the permits, surveying appts etc. His crew was fantastic and now we have a beautiful deck that is the envy of the neighborhood. While it is on the pricier end, the old addage "you get what you pay for" is so true. Our beautiful deck is worth every penny. It took me a while to submit this, but hope this helps people in the future.

It was a great experience! The ownwer, Mike was very knowledgeable, helpful, patient and friendly. They were not the cheapeast quote that we received, but decided to go with them for this large of a project. We trusted their judgement and their results clearly speak for themselves. I will say that the price was fair when we were quoted compared to final ending price. When we saw the finished product, our new deck was worth it!! We have vision of actually enjoying many days and nights out there on our new deck, once the weather turns. The person who actually built the deck, Josh, was very friendly, polite, and does great work. I was shocked with the progress he made daily despite the fact he was building it in January when we didn't have the best weather. We would without a doubt recommend them to anyone we know and would re-hire them for our next project that we need. .

Everything went well. All staff members were polite and professional. Work was completed on time and to specs as discussed in the contract. Actual carpenter was very professional and did excellent work. A true craftsman...

It was a great experience! Mike was knowledgeable, helpful, patient and friendly. They weren't the cheapest out there, but we don't really advocate going for that anyway. But, we will say that the price was fair when we were quoted. However, when we saw the results it was worth every penny and more. We've already enjoyed many days out there on our new deck! The person who actually built the deck was super friendly and unobtrusive. We would without a doubt recommend them to anyone we know.

The nicest people we never worked with! We unfortunately had to cancel our deck plans after already meeting and working with Mike. Our changes were personal and had nothing to do with the company or product...both of which we were excited to work with. We felt horrible about having to cancel after Mike had so much time invested in us, and he and Carol couldn't have been more understanding. I would, and have, recommended them. It's easy to be nice to your customers when everything is going well, but the true test of how you treat your clients is when things go south for one reason or another. Truly lovely people.

From the beginning, you could tell Mike Reeder brought a tremendous amount of credibility and professionalism to the project as we turned my design into professional drawings. Mike worked with me to tailor the look and feel I wanted into specs that worked functionally and within my budget. The work got started on time and the carpentry was outstanding. It was clear Josh and John cared as much about the quality of the product as I did. I have an eye for detail and high standards for the quality of the work, but when Mike came out to inspect the near-final, and then final product, he pointed out - and had corrected - several imperfections I wouldn't have even noticed. Great experience all-around from the Archadeck team. Don't bid out a project without talking to Mike.

They really had a great employee working for them who did most of the work. We had a great storm and there was no power. He let me plug in my refrigerator to his generator. He had to bring his own generator to do his job. He was a very nice guy. He also took some of my frozen food and put them in his refrigerator. My neighbors also appreciated the porch. We had a really good quality work done. We had got 3 quotes and there was another guy who was the same price. There was another guy who was very expensive. Their price was average. I would use them again in future if need be.

Very professional presentation. 3-D imaging puts everyone on the same page in how the final product will look. Installation date was moved up two weeks which coincided with our vacation. Mike or Carol called everyday to give us an update. Amazing customer service. Work was completed as proposed in rendering.

Everything went very smoothly from the original estimate to the finished product. The young man who built the deck was punctual, friendly, and very neat. The job took approximately 3 days, and each evening he took away any trash leftover and removed all of his tools and work benches. He took time to address any questions we had during the process. The finished deck looks great, and we have had many compliments so far!

They were referred to me by a friend of mine who spoke very highly of them. Mike came out and explained their process and worked with me on what I really wanted in a deck. Once we agreed on the ideas I wanted, they created a really neat 3-D colored design of the deck against my house, they had a couple of options for me to pick from. In general, they were always on time, very responsive, and willing to fix things that I didn't think came out as I thought it would (my fault). The most important thing to me was that I told them what I wanted and they got the permit, coordinated with other contractors, essentially (and thankfully) leaving me out of the loop, unless I asked for an update. The deck has been a great investment, and thankfully the process was very easy thanks to Mike and Carol.

THEY BROUGHT THE MERCHANDISE BEFORE THEY WENT TO WORK AND PUT IT ON MY PATIO (NO PROBLEM!) THE NEXT DAY THEY SET THE POSTS, AFTER THEY SET IN CONCRETE; THE REAL WORK BEGAN. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL SINCE I HAD DOGS! IT TOOK NO TIME BEFORE THE JOB WAS FINISHED (TO MY DELITE).

They are ver good. They explained everything very well. I am very happy with the deck and I get a lot of comments on it. I am pleased with the people and the professionalism.

Wonderful! Mike(the owner)came out and took pictures and measurements. He then created computer generated 3D graphics of what our new deck would look like on our house. The graphics showed our house, what the deck would look like from the back windows, from the road, from every possible angle. It was amazing. We knew exactly what we were getting before construction began. The employees were wonderful and very attentive to what we were looking for in a new deck.

I chose to go with them because I was having trouble scheduling an appointment with the other company. The people were pleasant. The project took to long. They said they had a team, but they only sent one person. I think they did a fine job, but I don t know that I would recommend them. They came in June and they finished in September.

The work quality is outstanding. The deck has the look of fine furniture in it's overall finish. The pergola was laid out so well, that the assembled pieces "fell" into place with no prying or shimming or other adjustments.

From the beginning, the presentation and professionalism of Michael and his team set them apart from the other contractors. We were never disappointed the entire time. If something was not quite right, they were quick to fix it or change it. As promised the carpenters cleaned up every day, never had music blasting, and were always VERY polite and professional. They seem to be a bit more expensive than the other quotes we received, but they completed the job very quickly, and were worth it! We would use them again any time!

We contacted this company to replace our wooden deck with composite material decking. Our call was returned quickly and Michael arrived promptly for our initial meeting Detailed information was provided regarding materials, warranties color choices. An estimate was provided during the initial meeting. The job was completed on time with a wonderful crew of workers. The crew leader was accessible and kept in contact with us daily.

Michael Reeder and his "team" were a pleasure to deal with. Overall, it was a good experience.

All work was performed exactly as described to us and as detailed in our contract. When an unexpected problem surfaced, the staff on site and in the office could not have been more professional or more responsive. The problem was resolved as quickly as possible, with only a minor effect on the completion date and final cost.

They did an excellent job! They explained everything as they went along. The crew always left the work site very clean and tidy. They ran into an unexpected problem on our property and handled the situation extremely professionally. They were on time and polite. I signed a contract before we began which included an estimate. The final bill was exactly the estimate they gave me earlier. They did a beautiful job!

We were very pleased with the pricing on this estimate. I was pretty comparable to the price that a competitor provided us. Arachadeck of Columbus also provided us with an estimate to connect the screened porch to the back of our home with a deck.

We had a great experience overall. Our deck turned out amazing. Mike and his staff did a great job walking us through the process and Andy was very meticulous. Treated our project like he was doing it for his own home. Great communication as to what we should expect and when.
