Description of Work: We contacted Arcadeck for a quote on a custom deck for our home. Mike the owner came out for the design consultation, then again for the proposal, and lastly on the final walk-through. He was extremely professional and responsive to our ideas and needs. What set them apart from the other companies was their process. Rather then talking to us and sketching something up and giving us a price right away, Mike asked questions about out budget, what we intended to do with the deck and put on it, etc., then we looked at features of other desks, and then he left to design a deck to meet our needs and budget. | |When Mike returned 2 weeks later with the design, what we saw was a 3D rendering of the deck on the back of our house, which really allowed us to see what it was going to look like. Although it was over our budget, we were extremely pleased with the design that we signed the contract. As they are in high demand for their quality, and we were late in the season (early July) to sign the contract, construction didn't begin until October. | |The crew, led by Seth, were polite and professional, and they kept the job site neat and clean. Their craftsmanship was top notch, and they breezed through the project making it look effortless. They began on a Tuesday and were done by Friday. | |Overall, we are extremely pleased with the company and the work.

Description of Work: Archadeck has just finished rebuilding my 20-year-old deck, and I could not be more pleased with their work. Rob, who provided the estimate, filled in a lot of information about my deck and decks in general. On his second trip he brought an impressive computer generated drawing of exactly how the new deck would look. He answered every question with precise information. Rob's professionalism is what initially sold me on Archadeck. Then Phil, the project manager, met with me to go over paperwork and share construction diagrams that are proprietary, hence not posted on the website. Josh and John were my building crew, and they were magnificent -- working with scarcely a break, answering questions, cleaning up every day, but most of all, producing a deck that is simply gorgeous and perfectly constructed. I can't overstate how pleased I am with their work. Definitely hire Archadeck.

Description of Work: I called and asked them to come out for an estimate to enclose our covered patio. They asked what our budget was, and I informed them that I had no idea how much it would cost, and that is the reason for the estimate. The lady on the phone then tried to work out a date and time for them to come out, and informed me that they do estimates from 9-5. I selected a date and time, and then she advised that both homeowners had to be there. I advised that I could not do that during the hours of 9-5, as my husband works 9-6 and his office is about half an hour away. She offered to come out earlier in the morning or later in the evening, but again the times that I gave were not "flexible" enough for them. I even asked for a Saturday, and she basically said no. In my opinion, they were not very flexible by requiring both home owners to be present, and then having such strict hours. If they don't want a job during these economically challenged times, so be it.
