No work performed, but they called me back with the information very quickly.

Our experience with Archadeck was phenomenal from the estimate to the finished product. Mr. Reeder was extremely reliable, responsive & professional. We would not hesitate to recommend his company.

I have procrastinated a year in providing this report (project completed in April 2007), but there are no negatives to tell. The experience was positive from the very beginning. For us, Mike offered the right combination of expertise, audience and advocacy. He knows his product and explains it well. He listened closely to our ideas and concerns. He offered suggestions and advice, when appropriate. He told us what would not work, and why. He took great pains to develop several proposals for our consideration, and then patiently answered our questions throughout the winnowing process. The preferred option went through three revisions before becoming final. Comments regarding construction are noted above, but this account would not be complete without noting the many favorable comments that we have received from visiting friends and relatives in the past year. As a result of all this, we would definitely recommend Mike Reeder and Archadeck to others who are considering a deck or similar project.

It was a tremendous experience. Mike was very professional and explained everything that Archadeck does in great detail. He was conscious of our cost concerns and designed a deck that fit what we wanted and was within budget. Seth built the deck and was always on time (or early), did his work quickly and professionally and precisely! The work area was always clean and organized. Seth was also willing to answer any questions that we had and encouraged us to ask more! It was a tremendous experience. We are extremely happy with the deck and recommend Mike, Seth, and Archadeck to anyone.

They did a great job, although starting date got delayed some due to previous jobs and weather, once they started the work progressed smoothly and efficiently and they were done in the approximate time estimated. Workers were polite and hard working, cleaned up every day and worked with me on minor details. I got phone calls with updates or delays and was contacted whenever something unforeseen came up with the project. Michael came out for a final inspection and we walked through the project together, coming up with a few finishing touches that will enhance the overall great job.

I called them, we exchanged emails, he came out and discussed the issue but they never followed through after that.

The project was made more difficult because of the location of the deck and the problems of accessing it. Archadeck did a great job of removing the old deck with minimal disruption of landscaping. They built a bridge over a small stream to avoid damaging landscaping around house. They were willing to try a new attachment system for the deck boards which avoids putting any drill holes in the surface of the deck boards. They recommended and installed a number of additional things around the deck such as down spouts to prevent future damage to the deck (something the previous deck installers did not recommend or do). They coordinated well with the hot tub company for the timely installation of the hot tub. Overall the quality of the work is excellent and we are very satisfied with the finished deck.

Mike's approach from the start was very professional - we were looking for people in the decking business, running it as a business, which is certainly the case with Archdeck. Mike listened to our needs, didn't try an sell us anything we didn't need or want. The deck installation itself was great - the installation team was on time, worked efficiently, and demonstrated an attention to detail we didn't expect to see. This aspect more than met our expectations. We did have one part of the process that elongated the final completion - negotiation over the door, that was custom ordered, but ended up not being the door we thought we ordered. If anything, this was a minor miscommunication. Mike and his team throughout the process were tenacious in their followup, phone calls, e-mails, and very professional.

The deck that Archadeck built for us was exceptional! The craftsmanship was outstanding. The lead carpenter, Josh, was very courteous and helpful. He went out of his way to build an extra walkway for our pets, during construction of the deck. The owner, Mike, was very professional and gave us some great ideas for options we had not considered. With his input, we ended up with a much nicer deck than we originally had in mind. Mike gave us the idea to add angles to the corners, and a large gate at the top of the stairway, to help us with our pets. During construction, the site was kept clean daily, and questions or concerns were answered promptly.

Work was done promptly, very professionally and attractively. Mike was very good about keeping us informed and doing what he said when he said it would be done.

Archadeck was amazing! They showed up on time, made great progress every day, continually updated us on the progress, accommodated change requests and built an absolutely beautiful deck!

I contacted Archadeck as a second estimate for the work. Michael was very candid, very professional, very patient. It took me months to make decisions and he was always available to provide information or give advice. He provided extensive references to contact, although I didn't. The work itself only took two days and the workman was very good. Cleaned up the site. Worked diligently. Was careful to close my gates while he was there. Office staff is very helpful. Overall good experience.

Would certainly use them again. In fact, expect to use them to help put lights on pergola.

The project was initiated in September with the quote and design. Construction was scheduled originally for late November. The project began in December and was completed in a timely and professional fashion in two weeks. Communication was excellent, the work was done meticulously, and the result is a beautiful new deck.

The new deck gives us more usable space and is a much better fit for our needs than the old one. It is also much sturdier and more attractive, with several nice design touches. Archadeck did a great job of explaining what they planned to do, doing what they said they would do, and doing things promptly. They kept us well informed and made good adjustments to a couple of things about our house that weren't visible until the old deck was gone. Everyone involved in the project was friendly and helpful and easy to work with. At first we were concerned that Archadeck might be too expensive, but they were able to design a deck we could afford.

Everything about our experience with Archadeck was good. They were extremely professional, pleasant to deal with and did everything they said the would. The quality of the construction was excellent and is backed by Archadeck's national warranty.

Mike was very easy and helpful to work with. He was very professional and helpful in every step. The crew was clean, polite, and very respectful. I would work with them any time.

The results were excellent. Mike Reeder came up with a great design and, between him and Marilyn, took care of all of the administrative details. Mike explained everything in detail before I signed the contract. In addition to the above, I received several updates from Marilyn. The contractor, Seth, was prompt, friendly, professional, and neat, and did an great job. It took the two days that Mike told me it would. The site was cleaned up on both days and Mike and I did a final review before I signed off on the delivered product.

From start to finish these guys are building quality with best building practices. Their office kept me informed at every step and they followed the schedule we set. Michael, the Columbus owner, covered all of my concerns. It is important to know that all of their plans are drafted by Archadeck corporate who drafts all of them nation wide, they know how to do it right. Corporate also guarantees everything. My plans came back with all kinds of 3-D drawing of the finished project and individual pages of framing and construction materials to be used. We me again and went over the plans and I was very impressed with the detail and material improvements they made from what I thought I wanted from talking to other contractors. I approved the plans and they got started. I also knew the price up front before making a contract, sounds like common sense, but some of the other contractors I talk with gave me a $3,000+ range - they really did not know. Archadeck is now drafting me deck plans.

It was EXCELLENT. Mike, the owner, is extremely professional. He did what he said each and every time. The deck is very well built. The deck boards are tight, no creaking, etc. Great craftsmanship.

I completed an inquiry on the company's website approximately 3 weeks ago and haven't received a response. I have since selected another company - one that called the following the day.

I have nothing but positive comments about this company. From the owner to his carpenters, it is refreshing to see such professionalism in a contracting company. Mr. Reeder is knowledgeable and gives a clear and visual explanation of the work to be done. The carpenters are very talented and I am more than pleased with my new dining room and porch. They were friendly, on time (they even gave me a courtesy call the one time they were delayed), worked the whole day and cleaned up each day. I would not only recommend Archadeck to others but I would use them again.

All employees of this company are friendly, courteous and professional. The quality of the completed job was excellent. Attention to detail was very high. They were very conscientious about doing the job right and he level of communication was appropriate.

Michael Reeder and his crew were very professional. They kept us informed during the construction of the deck. The quality is top of the line.
