America's Floor Source

Perfect. Couldn't have asked for a more seamless service and I was really nervous since we had movers ready to move us in the next day.

Awful. We went to the showroom in September and picked out the new Coretec flooring material. We paid 1/2 of the cost up front. The flooring was to be installed the next week. The salesman, Terry, came to our house to verify my measurements. The floor was ordered. They called to say the flooring would be installed in two weeks. The installers arrived on time, did a great job, and finished early. BUT the salesman had ordered the wrong transition pieces and and no cove base for under the cabinets. It was to be ordered and installed the next week. Didn't happen. Went to the store, talked to Terry again. He said the materials had been order and would be in the next week next week. Waited two weeks, they called and said installer would be here the next day. He showed up with the transition pieces. installed them. He did not have the cove base and did not finish the quarter-round trim that wasn't finished by the original installers so that it could be cut and fastened properly with the transition pieces. I had ask Terry about the cove base and was told that it was a stock item. It had to be ordered. We went back to the store to talk to a manager on November 25. We got his number and left a message on his voice mail . It is now November 27 and we have not heard anything from Eric, the manager.

We had a difficult job since we were trying to match it up with an existing floor and they did a great job. Be sure to asked for Justin Huffman since he is the only one that assured us that it could be the way we wanted. I checked with several others and they said they could not do it the way we wanted. Even another installer for the same co. said he could not do it the way we wanted.

Great. They showed up on time and finished earlier than expected. The workers were professional. When I found one plank was defective, they removed and replaced it.

I went to the showroom at Lewis Center, because of the reviews on this list. I had a $20k-$30k job I was interested in having America's Floor Source do. I was walked back to the material I was interested in by the receptionist and told someone would be right with me. I stood around for 10 minutes or so. A woman named Meg Lally finally came by to tell me the same thing the receptionist told me and then said she would be with me in a moment. I waited another 10-15 minutes and she never returned. Ironically, PLENTY of associates kept walking by me with their food and I could hear everyone eating and enjoying themselves in the back. I was the only customer in the entire showroom. Meg mirrored the used car salesman persona. So, I was happy to avoid the situation I had walked into. I walked out and told the receptionist I couldn't stay any longer. She asked me where Meg was, and I said I had no idea, she never came back. I went to a competitor that same day and signed an installation for $34k. Their loss. Also, just to note, their prices and labor costs were the highest that I had priced out. Don't waste your time.

The entire process went well. I picked out what I wanted, and after realizing I was well over budget, Dick Fadley suggested that I go to an Oak floor rather than Hickory. This saved me several thousand dollars. I wanted the porcelain tile installed first so I could make sure that my bathroom facilities were in working order as soon as possible. The installer did not speak English but he worked very diligently and did a great job. I scheduled the hardwood to be installed the following Monday, and they were a Korean crew. The supervisor didn't speak much English, but we managed to communicate with no problem. This crew knocked out 1250 square feet in less than 8 hours, and it looks awesome. I have to say that I was shocked how fast they got the job done. The floor looks awesome! I would highly recommend this Company to everyone.

The process was great. Chris Miller was my contact. They were on time, laid the floors and did the "kick carpet" in a very professional manner. The install team was great. I have no complaints.

Always do as they quote. If ever a problem, they've never hesitated to fix it immediately.

We had ongoing issues with their scheduling. Their rep was supposed to come out 8-8:30 am to see whether they could save some existing carpet given what we wanted replaced. Nobody showed until I called them after 10 am and insisted he come. Then, on the day of the install, they were scheduled to arrive at 8-8:30 am, but didn't show up until after 10 am. Their crew was severely undermanned. What we understood would be a one day job ran until after 10 that night (even though this was our home where we were living). They had to come back the next day to finish the steps. There were a few minor flaws, which to their credit they promptly took care of. When we complained about their having to work until after 10 at night and their not getting the job done in one day, they told me that their working until after 10pm in our home was a positive because it showed their dedication to getting the job done. They did not acknowledge to me that they had not sent enough people out to get the job properly done to begin with. We will look elsewhere for future flooring needs.

Erik Warren at the Hilliard store was extremely helpful in the selection process. I asked numerous questions and he also researched and provided answers in a timely fashion. He went well over and above in providing assistance throughout the process. The installers arrived on time, did an exceptional job and left an immaculate bathroom. I am very pleased with my new floor.

Outstanding service and quality!!!! I contacted Tim on Saturday morning to see if they could install carpet on Tuesday morning before my movers arrive. Immediate words out of their mouth were "No problem, we do it all the time". They gave us some samples to take with us to make a decision on color and material. I can't say enough how professional and helpful they were. Chris beat me to the house early Monday morning, measured and was on his way in 5 minutes. He emailed me the forms with the price and information and then followed up with a phone call to make sure I received and to see if I had any questions. I would highly recommend!

Todd Sweeney took over the case and worked with us. He was very helpful and seemed to be genuinely concerned about the situation. The only option was to place our furniture in the yard to install new carpet. We refused to do that and asked that we be compensated for the value of the carpet. After a while, we were able to come to an agreeent that was satisfactory to us and to the company. The only advise that I would give to them is that they need to introduce Jennifer (an office worker) to a customer service class.

We purchased a vinyl tile floor that was supposed to click/lock together and it was installed in November. After installation we noticed there were glue stains on several areas, some tile were not locked together tightly and had a gap, and one highly visible patch of lighter tile in a row. I had called the company during installation as it appeared that the installers were having a hard time with the click lock installation so we called them back again and they sent one person to look at it and later called us to say that they were going to send two employees to remove the glue stain tiles, the area with the gap, and string of light tiles. About a week later they came and worked on the items we had concerns with and they were very conscientious and worked hard to fix the floor. During their repairs they found that there were more issues with the installation of the click lock tiles and informed us that they would replace the entire floor with glue down tile. We agreed and after ordering the tile, they sent two installers who removed all the click lock flooring and glued down and grouted the entire area. We are very pleased with the floor and the follow up of the company in resolving the first installation. The manager, Todd Sweeney, was extremely helpful and listened to our concerns and followed up all the way through the process, including calling after the final installation. The floor looks great and we are thrilled with it and with Americas Floor Source.

My representative, Tiffany Sealscott, was exceptional in guiding me towards the right products and very responsive to all my questions and concerns. I enjoyed working with her very much and would definitely recommend this company for any flooring needs.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with how the process went from start to finish. Beginning with our initial consultation with the America's Floor Source Branch Manager, Erik Warren, at their showroom at 3657 Trabue Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43228 through completion with our carpet being installed. Erik's product knowledge and experience helped us to choose the right carper for our home while staying under budget. We definitely recommend America's Floor Source for anyone in need of purchasing new carpet.

We contacted America's Floor Source for carpet replacement in our rental unit. They came out and checked out the unit and gave us honest feedback advising that the carpet still had about 2-3 years of life left in it. Although we did not use them to install the carpet at this time, I still requested a quote for future reference and do plan to use them when we do actually replace the carpet, along with any carpet replacement needs we may have for our own home. Their quote was very reasonable and fair and the rep that we worked with what really awesome! I appreciate the honesty given because others in that position would have just tried to tell us to replace the carpet. I appreciate the fact that they do care about their customers and want to make sure they do the right thing for them, so if that means giving them honest feedback that the carpet still has a couple of years, they do. I will recommend this company to others and absolutely use them in the future.

Very professional, fast, with good prices and some of the best installers. Their showroom has a wide range of carpet. Their installers are fantastic! The place was neat and clean when they finished. They had to move a LOT of furniture in the basement in order to lay the carpet and they did an amazing job.

The sales process was a breeze. Their sales rep, Curt, was punctual, professional and listened to what our needs and concerns were and offered several solutions that hit the mark. We bid the job to three companies, Americas' Floor Source had the lowest price, and we were confident of their service from past experience. The installers showed up on time and were respectful of my home, they cleaned up well and vacuumed our new carpet! They really did a great job. We would definitely use them again and we recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

Sold me carpet I specifically stated needed to withstand pet stains. Was told the carpet was guaranteed for 20 years, lipstick, gum, etc. and a protector was not needed to be added (which I requested and was willing to pay extra). Within 1 week, our old pet had an accident and cleaner that we've used on all types of rugs and carpets in our home faded the carpet. Was informed we invalidated the warranty (which we never received). Every step of the way, I needed to call and wait for copies of receipts, warranty claim...with several calls to Mohawk advising me America's Floor Source should be supporting me through the claim. In the end, the claim was denied and America's Floor Source indicated they never promised the carpet would be indestructible. I expected that for the $, it would have been at least as good as the 10+ year old carpet in the rest of home and of even darker colors.

Helped match existing hardwood flooring in adjoining room . Arrived on time to lay flooring. Employees were professional and work completed excellent. After that, however, service was questionable. Still needed 2 vents. Two different times wrong size was delivered. Then never heard back from store or salesman as to when this would be completed. After several calls including one to store manager and 2-4 weeks later, they finally sent out a gentleman to remeasure. He discovered the problem and reordered items. This gentleman took care of the situation in a timely fashion. . My dissatisfaction was with lack of followthrough from salesman when he knew my floor was not complete. No attempt was made to see if vents had arrived or been installed. I chose AFS because they said they did have access to matching floor vents AND floor could be installed by the date I needed it completed. Floor was in, but vents were MIA far too long. Once I contacted store manager - I hate to go to next level- the problem was eventually solved. Floor looks great but I would hesitate to use AFS again because of customer service.

Overall experience was good. We had excellent service and input from our sales person who helped guide us to our selections. Install went quickly and there were no problems with quality or service. There were a few minor hiccups along the way but all issues were handled swiftly and professionally. Very happy with the product and service.

Communicated back and forth with Todd through email and worked with Ed in the store. We weren't the easiest customer because we are picky, were working with a budget and a tight timeline but sales and installation went great and we are very happy with our new carpet. Thanks Guys!

Two days after I had a salesman out, I had to call and remind him that I needed the estimate so I could make a decision. I didn't go with the cheapest, but all of the estimates were around the same price. I also informed him that he should try to run the card early as it was for Home Repairs only and not all companies accepted it. They didn't try to run the card early and waited until the Wednesday before the install before running. Crew came out to lay the LVT. They were asian and could not speak to me at all. I had to point at the areas where it was suppose to go. When they finished laying the LVT the guy looked at me and pointed at the dining room floor. Then they left. A little while later I realized they weren't returning so I called the salesman to ask him what happened with my quarter rounds. He said they forgot to put them on the truck but they would come out the next day with the carpet to lay the quarter rounds also. Later he called me to inform me that my carpet wasn't in. It should be in on Tuesday (the day it was suppose to be laid) and would be laid on Wednesday. Tuesday morning I waited from 8-12 for someone to come lay my quarter round. At 1145 I called to find out where they were. A half hour later someone calls me back to inform me there was an emergency and the person suppose to install wasn't in. No one bothered to call and say they wouldn't be in. The guy says they could either put in on Wednesday or Friday (since Thursday was Thanksgiving). I told him I need them in as I have 30-40 people coming over for Thanksgiving. I then asked about my carpet and he tells me the carpet isn't in either. I have ugly LVT in my dining room and no carpet in my living room and tons of people coming to my house for Thanksgiving. The salesman knew I needed this done before Thanksgiving for this reason. (The LVT looks good it just is ugly due to not having quarter rounds and lots of gaps.)

Showroom had large selection of tile, laminate, and hardwood floors to choose from. Install crew, led by RIM, did excellent job. Two areas of concern were--1- install ordinarily does NOT include removal of base and replacement of base. Just wood up to base and then quarter round to finish the edges. This is surprising for a company of this quality. We insisted on removal of the base, wood to the wall, then base to finish the edge. The crew followed our desire without complaint. 2-- the company apparently doesn't stock quarter round and base pieces that have the same color as the floor or tile. This should be on every truck in case base is worn, or damaged. There is no reason to take the chance that the base detracts from the look of the finished product. The crew was a hardworking bunch, and we are happy with the look of the final product.

Needed to install carpet in 4 rooms and hallway/stairs before moving into my new home. My sales rep was very professional and knowledgeable when I stopped at the showroom and also during my in -home evaluation I ordered the carpet in August and was disappointed when one of the carpets was on back order and wouldn't be available until I moved in. That was in a 2 month time frame. My sales rep made a special trip to show me another similar carpet that was available. Which I was very appreciative for him doing. The installers were very polite and professional. And were courteous to my home by cleaning up any mess left behind. Carpet quality is very good.
