Description of Work: The techs came in and examined my existing Central A/C system to give it a check-up and tune-up, and troubleshoot why it didn't seem to be working properly. They ran two different tests on it to find and determine the size of Freon coolant leaking from the system on an initial visit and a followup visit. They determined that my system's COIL was where the problem leak was. On the followup visit they loaded freon into the system with the hope that it was a small, slow leak. I asked them about A/C systems that they would recommend and they were unable to give me some kind of recommendation, based on their experience with systems of similar size, capacity, etc. to the one I had that was experiencing the problem. |They couldn't tell me which systems they came across in their work that required more frequent and more serious, more costly repairs/service; |even if there are a lot of variables involved. |I experience the same thing with IT systems and can still pin-point my preferences, likes/dislikes, etc. So this was a bit of a let down since I could see that my system was probably getting to the point of needing to be replaced. And, since I know very little about HVAC systems and needed a little more specific direction, etc. Who knows if they had given me some heart-felt, passion based feedback based on what they've witnessed in their work I might have purchased my next HVAC type system from Aire Serv, But instead I ended up purchasing a new system from a company that I am sure is their competition. |I even got a no interest multi-payment plan in the deal and will likely go back to that company for my other HVAC needs. |If needed I would use this provider again and would recommend them unless I feel that recommending the other company would be a better fit with the person or business's needs. I did like the rest of my experience with this company. | |There's nothing to followup with me about on this. I was served as much as the technician's were setup by their company to serve me. |

Description of Work: This was a A.L Deal for a furnace inspection for fall/winter. Everything was fine. The tech was courteous, professional and punctual. Included a completed checklist showing that nothing needed immediate repair, but noting a few items to watch for future service.

Description of Work: Had a coupon for an AC tune up, and the tech who came out did a very thorough job. It turned out that my AC was operating just fine, but he did find a problem with the furnace, and he was able to very clearly explain (and show me) what was wrong. I felt like he took a lot of time and care to make sure I understood everything, even though he was aware that I would not be using his company to do the furnace repair (due to a home warranty, the warranty company gets to choose the repair provider). Will definitely use Aire Serve again in the future!
