AFFORDABLE APPLIANCE SERVICE

Called Affordable Appliance on Tuesday near 4 pm. By Wednesday near noon the appliance was fixed and on it's way down to proper temperatures. Rick arrived early within the given arrival time. Quick trouble shooting lead him to the back of the fridge. Defective component was identified and replace. Preventive cleaning and component review was completed. Work area was cleaned during and after work completion.

Jeff was updating us as he became delayed another job. He repaired our ice maker vs just replacing the item.

Jeff was able to come to look at our refrigerator the same day I called. He arrived within the time window he gave me on the phone. He was polite and professional. He knew what the problem was right away and proceeded to fix it quickly. He already had the part we needed. He also hooked up our water line so we are able to use the water and ice maker.

The only slightly bad mark I would give, and it's very slight, is that the service was supposed to be between 10-12. I got a call at 11:58 saying the service provider was 20 min away, so it put me a bit behind. However, in all other respects the service was everything I could hope for. The washer was repaired quickly, the part was on the truck, and the cost was low...a real relief considering I didn't want to spend much repairing the washer. The repair man also made some adjustments and oiled a part he thought had caused the problem in the first place. I'm very happy with the repair, and I'd be glad to have them back again (but hopefully I won't need to!).

He explained what needed repaired and showed us the worn parts in both cases. Jeff owns the company, is a super repairman and did a wonderful job for us. He is very personable and knowledgeable about the repairs he performed.

We thought the person who came out was very good; we saved his card for that reason.

They had a very good rating and they fulfilled their rating. They fixed the refrigerator and they said it would last five years. It was on a Sunday that I've called them and they were there on Monday and he was on time. He told me upfront that he could fix it, but it's going to cost me more. I would use him again.

Fantastic - The gentleman was unable to recreate the leak and instead of replacing a component that could have caused the leak, he explained what likely happened and let me know to call him if I had any more trouble. Affordable Appliance was able to come and check this out within one day of the initial phone call!

Called in the morning, fixed by the evening! Very professional, reasonable price. Also really enjoyed working with Jeff. He's a good guy.

It was pretty clear to me that the problem would turn out to be that the motor was burned out and would cost a few hundred dollars to replace. Ready for that, I called Affordable Appliance Service. He asked some questions about the machine, eliminated various possibilities, had me turn switches in a certain way while spinning the drum by hand (easy since this is a compact machine), and it began working again. Apparently the motor needed only a minor kick-start. He could have sold me a new motor and service call. But he just helped out. No service call needed, and no charge. Very impressive. I will certainly call them again

I called and had the company come out because my dishwasher wasn't running right. They were supposed to come on 12/18, but never showed or called. I called at the end of the day and he explained he had two people out that day, and got too busy to call to let me know they couldn't make it. They did, however, come the next day. The technician checked everything and said he couldn't find anything wrong with the dishwasher. He explained how a piece of paper or something could get in the motor, and then eventually work it way out. I am satisfied with the service I received. I'd rather be stood up for a day, and receive an honest evaluation than not.

I contacted affordable appliance service this morning at approximately 8.30 AM. I spoke with Jeff. I told him that my dryer was not heating up therefore not drying the clothes. He asked when I would like him to send a service technician. I told him ASAP. He offered between three and six pm the same day. He then asked what type of dryer and model number. At approximately 6:00 PM Rick showed up. Checked the dryer. Told us we needed a new heating element. He quoted the price of $149.00 plus tax = 159..06. He had the element with him. Made the repair. Tested the dryer. At my request he also tested the washer. Start to finish was here 45 minutes. Fixed my dryer the same day it broke. Fantastic service. Rick was great. Would absolutely use this company again.

Installation was complicated by the fact that I was having a new floor installed at same time and Frank had to come and remove old dishwasher, let the flooring people prepare the floor, and then return later to install the new dishwasher. I was unable to give exact time for either the removal or installation so they worked with us and came out on short notice (I had given them the date, but had to "play it by ear" for the time).

We have used them twice before and were impressed by their service.

NEVER AGAIN!!! I called this highly agie list rated company on Wednesday they said they could install my new appliances on Thursday between 1 and 4. I get a call around 4:30 that he is running late he finally arrived around 6 pm. The first thing he did was to measure the new wall oven with the opening for the old one. However he had to borrow my tape measurer as he forgot his. then he realized he needed to shave a little bit off the cabinet to fit the new oven . However he did not you guessed it have the right tool. Then he worked on the dishwasher and asked if I had any white plumbing tape. He also needed to trim a piece of wood 1/4 inch as he did not have the right tools we scheduled for him to return Friday between 9 and 9:30 am. He said he would go to a hardware store and get the wood trimmed the 1/4 inch.FRIDAY he arrives 11:30 am yes another 2 hours late and no he had not been to the hardware store. He does have a saw and installs the wall oven...then he has to call another guy over to cut the trim for the dishwaher finally done 3:45. oh yeah why did it take so long well he kept getting calls on his cell phone and would stop what he was doing to answer this happened at least 20 times again NEVER AGAIN

The experience was very good. I don't remember the actual price, but I do remember it was very reasonable and they offered coupons. The person who came to fix my oven was on time and very professional. He explained the issue and walked me through the repairing process.

They responded to my call and fixed the washer for a reasonable price. I was happy with the technician's professionalism. They were late but that was just because they ran behind on their previous job. My washer works now and overall I am very happy with this experience. I will use them again.

My dryer took several cycles to dry things completely. I thought something was seriously wrong, and expected to have to replace big parts if not the whole dryer. The man cleaned the lint out of the places I can't get to, and advised me to use a different setting - time dry rather than the sensor settings. It works fine again now.

Wonderful service! If you live out east, they are quick, professional and reasonable. Try them!

The repairman came out on time and correctly diagnosed the problem after consulting with Jeff the owner. I had read horror stories online about technicians simply replacing parts until the hit on the right one - these guys got it right the first time. The tech explained that he would need to come back to install the part and couldn't make it until the next day. We explained that we had guests coming for the weekend and really needed the washer that day. He came back that same day after 5 and fixed our washer - outstanding! We would recommend this company to anyone.

Donny was punctual, professional, and very fair. Would use them again and recommend to other home owners I know.

I called to have my refrigerator repaired after it suddenly stopped cooling and freezing and was told he could be out within the hour. He arrived as promised. After checking the refrigerator he determined that it was either the starter on the compressor or the compressor that was not working. He quoted me approx. $130 for a new compressor starter that he could do right then. When he tried that, it did not fix the problem and he determined that it was the compressor that was bad. He does not replace compressors, and I wasn't going to have that done anyway, and he charged me only a service charge for diagnosing the problem. Throughout the service call he was friendly and efficient. I was very pleased with the service.

It went real well. The technician was extra friendly, nice, and kind. He cleaned up the mess that me made really well.

They were very quick and very efficient. They responded within an hour to my call. They were right in my neighborhood and came right out. They finished the job in a few hours and even gave me a slight discount!

My mother is elderly, and it seemed that her refrigerator seal needed to be replaced. When I closed the door, it would bounce back open. Based on other reviews her, I phoned Jeff to set up an appointment. He provided a four hour window for service on the same day as my call. He called in advance to say that he was on his way, and I met him at my mom's house. He inspected the refrigerator, and concluded that the seal was fine, but that the door was not true, and that was affecting the tightness of the seal. He also said the leveling of the refrigerator feet might be slightly off. He said what it would take to fix it, gave an estimate for the repair and fixed it within 30-45 minutes. He also vacuumed out the lower grate. He was prompt, polite, and professional. He gave my mom a senior citizen discount. I highly recommend this business for any of your appliance repair needs.
