Josh was very helpful and set our expectations appropriately. He explained that he could advise us most of the way, but that the installers are the experts that could give us the final stamp of approval. The installers were professional and showed us exactly how to use the system. They failed to connect 1 part correctly, so they came back out at no charge. Whenever I talk to the monitoring center, they're always prompt and helpful. I just had them back out to reconnect some new windows that were installed. Overall, I'm happy with the work.

The associates were professional, on-time, and courteous. The sales associate explained everything in terms we could easily understand, and helped us decide between varying options. Rather than trying to push a system on us that was more advanced than our needs, the associate honestly assessed our situation and home and recommended the basic plan and model. The technician who installed the system was meticulous and stayed at our house for hours seeing to it that everything was just right and that we understood it. A great company to do business with!

They were just so unprofessional over the phone. Every little thing that they do when they come out they charge you for. However, the last man that came out to extend the covers on my garage was very professional. The approximate cost is for every three months of service.

I called on a Tuesday for an appointment and Darren came 2 days later. Someone called on Wednesday wanting to know if the technician could come that day and there was a reminder call for the Thursday appointment on Wednesday evening. Darren came about 8 AM and worked almost continuously for about 7 hours. He was polite and answered all of my questions. He used parts of the existing system after testing them. Although he used a vacuum on the carpet where he had worked I later found that he missed quite a bit. Overall I was quite impressed. The next day we found that the old sensor on a door was unreliable although it had worked fine for Darren. I called Brinks and someone came to fix that sensor the next day (Saturday morning).

I was extremely pleased with the experience - start to finish. Everyone I worked with was professional. The system is great and the cost was reasonable.

They were an excellent company to work with.

Worst company I have ever dealt with.

Ive had ADT for 6 years. They raised the price during the first 3 year term twice, and once so far for the second term with no notice. I asked why am I bound by a signed contract and you can change the price whenever you want, why even have a contract. Their response was that I signed the contract and the contract says they don't have to give a notice, it's business. I said the nice thing about business is that I can go somewhere else. I tried calling new companies but all their technology is different so they have to charge you for new installation which is a little pricey and a bit cheaper to just stay. My recommendation is if have security put in the first time, don't use ADT.

Sales person was helpful, offered reasonably cost effective system. Did not seem overly confident/knowledgeable on products or placement of devices which surprised me. Did not plot out locations for installation team. By team I mean the one person who showed up for the installation (which took the entire day). No review of the system was made prior to coming which meant a return trip the next week when the installation tech realized that he did not have parts for the system he would be installing. While the price was right, the product appears to be good, the details were lacking. The service tech noted multiple mistakes on the salesman work up and commented on the lack of drawing out the system for the installation. Overall a solid B, nothing exceptional though. Installation while very long, very good, good clean up and very polite.

We used Brink's for 4 years already. They provide great service. We just got a puppy 5 months ago and her barking triggered alarm one time. Brink's tried to contact both of our cell phones, but both of them got dead batteries and didn't work at that time. Then Brinks contacted the other two listed contacts, but nobody was able to check our home at that time. Finally, they called the police to our house and made sure everything was fine. It's really a great feeling when we know we can really count on them!

I suggested that I should have an additional four months of free services since they had put my house and family at risk for this period of time. They reacted as if they didn't care.

Tony and Frank came and evaluated the system. They made suggestions as to what could be added and what wasn't needed. The installer came the following week and installed the new system. He gave me instructions as to how to turn it off and on, and how to use all the options. He also left an instruction book and DVD showing how to use it. Everybody was very nice and did a good job. The installer also cleaned everything up before he left.

Friendly, knowledgeable representative--went over all the features of the system with us. Know the system works well, got a call at work one day when the door to the garage came open while I was at work call from monitoring person and police response immediate. (Have since replaced the door so no further problems like that.

Serviceman was very pleasant but even though the job took less than 10 minutes to complete, still had to pay the minimum service charge of $103.

The installer did a good job of installing, explaining the system and cleaning up. It later appeared that the salesman had taken some information about neighbors and friends' names and phone numbers that was misrepresented as being necessary paperwork, but seemed to be a way of developing a referral list.

Nikki the seller showed up 30 minutes late after calling the night before to move the appointment up by 30 minutes. No big deal. She seemed to know what she was talking about. We came to an agreement including all details. James the installer was on time and prepared to do the job. It was only then that we discovered that while the price was still the same, Nikki did not include the carbon monoxide detector, and overpromised on updating the existing equipment with new batteries. After an hour on the phone we resolved the carbon monoxide issue, but never the battery issues (I have 16 of the batteries, and they are $5 each). Instead of backing up their seller and giving me what she promised, Tyler and Nikki put me in the middle forcing me to agree to pay for the batteries, or stop the installation. I agreed to pay, but I am very unhappy about it. I called and left a message for Tyler who is supposed to be the general manager. He has yet to call me back.

Been with ADT for eleven years. Needed to repair system. Salesman called ADT to determine what system I could use. He was told that I could replace just the control panel with one that was compatible with my current system. I paid the deposit and scheduled installation. Left work early to meet installer at noon. By 1:30 no one had shown up and I called to see what was up. Was transferred to SIX different people. Finally spoke to the installation supervisor who said he would call me back. After another half hour I called back to try and locate this person. While on the phone the sales person showed up at my house and apologized for the mix up in dates AND said he was told that I could not just switch out the old panel. I would have to have a whole new system. I think not! At least not with ADT. Waiting to get my deposit back and checking the list for another company.

The worker from Brinks was very professional. He completed his work in a timely manner and cleaned up after himself.

Excellent; this company was prompt and professional.

Try to do business with Roger Miller. He was a great salesmen. He is an ex-police officer, which really made me feel at ease. The installation went smoothly and the guy who installed the system was thorough. They do not sub contract, unlike ADT. Brinks is the way to go.

He toned out every wire (the builder had not labeled the wires in any way), and didn't charge extra for doing so, (not sure if it was a service they offered or normally charged for). He was here quite a long time, stayed to explain everything, got us setup for automatic billing and also wore a uniform. We've gone through Brink's before and have been pleased.

They did a great job. Their price was comparable to other companies. I will continue to use them.

Under stressful circumstances, I had a very good experience with Brink's. The sales representative, Mike Albert, was extremely kind, conscientious, and genuine without any high pressure sales tactics. They did not attempt to shortcut anything with the installation, and they offer some additional incentives which the local companies were unable to offer such as an extended service plan and a free move program.

Both account rep. and service rep. were polite, and on time. Some info. that account rep. "sold" was not accurate when service rep. installed system. Some items sold were also not usable due to home construction that account rep. did not realize.

Spoke with the rep. about security system inherited with the house purchase. Alarm had gone off, and I inquired about re-setting it or using it without monitoring. When rep. figured out that I was not a new customer that was going to purchase new hardware, he had no desire to give customer service. I have since set up a system with Brinks.
