Description of Work: I had a structural engineer come out to look a crack in my basement wall. He was very informational and helpful in explaining what to look for and how to tell if there are serious problems or just minor issues to watch.

Description of Work: Mr. Wright came to do a structural inspection of my home's foundation and walls. He was prompt and thorough and talked me through each crack and issue I pointed out, plus others that he saw. He offered advice on how to address the items needing attention. The next day he sent me a complete report with full explanations and photos that took the place of any notes I might have needed to take at the time. It was an excellent experience and he's a true professional!

Description of Work: Mr. Wright inspected the crawl space and attic of my home pending my contracting for remodeling of my bathroom. Because the house was built in 1948, my husband and I were concerned about water damage. Mr. Wright's very thorough and detailed report revealed plumbing irregularities not reported to us by the inspector we retained nine years ago when we purchased the home. We feel confident there is no water damage and will have the plumbing irregularities corrected as part of the bathroom remodel. It is noteworthy because of a time crunch that Mr. Wright e-mailed us a written report within three hours of completing his inspection. I heartily recommend his services to anyone. He deserves every "A" his many satisfied customers have reported to Angie's List.

Description of Work: Mr. Wright was very helpful to me in assessing changes in the masonry in my basement. After determining that it was not a serious problem, he gave very clear, practical instructions on how to remedy the situation. His written report was particularly helpful. He responded promptly to my call and was very professional.

Description of Work: Called Jim out to inspect a structural concern on a basement wall. He was prompt, professional and non alarmist. He was very helpful and i would use hime again. no work needed other than our plans to regrade concrete drive so water stopped draining towards house which he advised anyway.

Description of Work: We contacted Western Reserve due to a wall in our basement that appeared to be damp during the wet weeks in the early summer. We had contacted so called "water proofing" companies who told us that we needed to tear out foundation walls, dig trenches around the house, get a sump pump etc. We wanted an objective and reliable source for accurate information and called Western Reserve. We are glad we did. We learned that there were inexpensive and less costly solutions to our damp wall that was not "water in the basement" as the water proofing companies tried to convince us of. In fact the gentleman from Western Reserve also gave us suggestions for general home maintenance and answered all of our questions willingly. I would definitely recommend calling this company before calling ANY water proofing company.
