As best as I recall (it HAS been quite a while since the work): They removed and replaced damaged aluminum trim, but also had to build up the underneath wood framing due to water damage that was not at first visible. (The siding/trim edges were installed (over-lapped) incorrectly.) Very satisfied with the job (as I was with their sealing up of a previous different siding leakage problem).

My summer home looks like a new house after the work by Wagners. Very easy to work with and they responded quickly and repaired a screen that was damaged.

They were very nice. The boss came out to do the estimate. They even came out an hour early to do the work. They were done in a timely fashion and cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional and answered my questions. They did a nice job.

Randy came out a couple of days after I called them. He inspected the area and confirmed our problem, was extremely helpful in explaining what needed to be done. Did what he could and had his crew come back to finish.

I liked the crew, they were friendly and capable. The lead man had good communication skills. Randy was responsive and thorough with his explanations.

The roofing crew cleanly removed the old roof, repaired the damaged plywood, and installed the new shingles. The following 2 days, a new crew replaced the entry door and the bay window. The next seven work days, a new crew replaced the siding. Finishing the inside of the front porch was a complex task and the result is insanely outstanding. The next day a new crew Installed the gutters in under 4 hours. The crew scheduling was very tight. Each crew was very experienced in their respective tasks. No heavy trucks drove onto my driveway. Every worker was polite, friendly and accommodating. I am very pleased with entire process and the final appearance of my house both from afar and up close.

Excellent-said they would be here @ 6:00 for estimate. Was here exactly @ 6:00. Very friendly-HONEST. Gave a time to commence but due to weather was set back but was here as soon as it was better.

Wagner has replaced the roofs on my past two houses and did a wonderful job on both. Randy provides honest estimates. If something doesn't need to be done he will tell you. When buying my new house the inspector stated that the roof was near the end of its life. I contacted Wagner and Randy went to the new property to check out the roof. It turned out that the inspector wasn't familiar with the type of shingle used on the house and the inspector was incorrect in his assessment. Randy provided me with a very thorough explanation of the type of shingles being used, why there is actually no issue with the roof, and how much life it really had left. Knowing that I could trust Randy made a huge difference in the purchase of my new house. When it is time to replace that roof you know I will be using Wagner.

It went pretty well. They covered everything in the estimate. The estimate was very precise.

He responded to my panic call and came out immediately and put a temporary patch on our roof, we then made plans for the completed job that took place a couple weeks later. They were very neat and everything was done as expected they cleaned up after themselves. They were very timely and friendly. They are very accommodating and go above and beyond to meet your needs.

Wagner put me on a list for work to be completed. I mentioned that the roof was leaking into the house at the last rainfall and hey apologized, saying they were quite backed up. All this was said after I said the roof just needed some shingles replaced. I called an cancelled today after I called Zemko roofing and they said they would be out the next day

Initial estimate was thorough and professional. They spent quite a bit of time explaining what the repair would and would not do. There was a considerable delay (approximately 2.5 months) between the estimate and the actual work being carried out. This was adequately explained by the fact that this was a small job and that hurricane Sandy occurred in the interim. Wagner was fairly responsive to my requests for updates and everyone on the phone was at all times polite and forthcoming. The work itself was done mostly on a Friday and finished up on Saturday. Again, they took the time to explain what they were doing and what I could expect after they were done. Work was done to a high standard and, to the best of my knowledge, was successful. There is no evidence of further water damage.

Estimated the cost scheduled the service arrived at scheduled time and talked to me before starting to work started to work immediately worked every day stripping old roof off, replacing bad boards, putting down ice shield, roof paper and shingles Due to weather they took 4 days to replace the roof (lots of rain and storms) Always let me know what was happening, answered questions Cleaned up at the end of each day After roof was completed they arranged for the crew to come out and replace the gutters Arrived at scheduled time Completed the job within a couple of hours Cleaned up at the end of the job Let me know the job was completed The crews for both jobs roof/gutters were professional, courteous and hard working.

it went as they told us. Flat roofs are hard to keep from leaking but they did a great job and it hasn't leaked at all.

It did turn out that there was not enough damage done to warrant a claim through the insurance company. Wagner was another company that was very nice to deal with. I think it was a hailstorm that came out of nowhere. He thought there was some damage and the insurance company did not think that there was any damage. The guy who came out to do the estimate was very thorough about it. Out of three companies, Wagner was the only company that actually got up and walked the entire roof. He was very meticulous about it. They were very professional about and on time. I would use them again.

The job went very well. They came and did exactly what we asked them to do and it was outstanding. Their thoroughness and punctuality stood out the most. We got it from A to Z.

Associate Randy Sindelar was very friendly and helpful with all my needs. He explained in detail how the work was to be done and gave me a wide choice of roof colors and even gave me several neighborhood homes with the selected roof choices to visit and see just how they would look. His estimate was to the penny. The day work was to be done they arrived on time and all the employees were friendly and respectful of my property. The made sure all surrounding bushes and foliage were covered and protected. Tearing down the carport was a messy job but they made sure that the area was completely clean when finished! The entire job took two days to complete. When the job was done, Randy came the next day to inspect the work and make sure that I was completely satisfied. Randy was exceptional, he was extremely helpful, kind and knowledgeable! I will always recommend Wagner Home Improvement to all my friends and relatives. Thank you!

There was a lack of understanding in that I wanted a repair and he thought I wanted a complete re-siding. Consequently the price was out of my range. I'm sure he would have done a quality job.

I did not receive a response to my 1-16-2013 request from Wagner Home Improvements. Will contact them again if necessary,

UPDATED: Received a phone call that was very professional and apologetic after expressing my frustration. I'm not sure most companies would take the time to do that... (Original comments): No response after leaving a message with someone in the office and then after leaving a voicemail on a separate occasion. Very disappointing.

The experience went well. I was happy with them but got a lower quote from someone else. Their quote was reasonable.

Work was completed in a timely manner.

They were able to fix my roof within half a day. I've used this company before when they replaced at least half the roof a few years back. There was some holes punched into the roof and they had to replace some of the wood across the rafters. They tore off the old shingles and roofing paper and replaced them with new ones. They also placed Ice Guard to prevent snow and rain from getting under the shingles and causing water damage. There was an extra charge, but it's well worth it to prevent a leaking ceiling.

Wagner was great! We had a good feeling about them when we initially talked to them and our trust was well-placed. This was a once in a lifetime expenditure and like most people we were a little afraid that things could go wrong if we picked the wrong company. Wagner talked us thru each step of the process, was patient, courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and was flexible in finishing touches where appropriate. They had separate crews that specialized in each type of work, i.e., roofing, siding and gutters, and windows. They had their own crews and did not use subcontractors like we had heard that some of their competitors do. In some cases they made recommendations, that while they seemed like the best option to us, turned out to mean less profit for Wagner. Yes you read that right. They put the customers well-being ahead of their own profits! When we felt we would like to ask them about any aspects of our job, they were available at their office, friendly, and patient in going thru options with us. Quite frankly, we have used the big-box retailers for other jobs around the house and they just don't offer this type of personal service. Wagner is from the local area and we are happy to recommend them to any family or friends who need work done. Our experience with them was very positive and trouble-free! The repair man called earlier in the week asking to place the siding in a protective place so that we he had time to do the job. On November 8, the repair man called - asked where the siding was. Did his work and left. Before he started, he identified himself as from Wagner Imp.
