The window was measured and the estimate given but I felt the price was too high.

Randy was friendly and helpful in resolving the problem. Hopefully, the sealant he used will take care of any leaks on my skylight.

This was the third company to quote the patch job, but the first one to realize that a small section of flat roof BELOW the leak spots was NOT the problem. Hmmm...perhaps taking the time actually to look in the easy-access crawl space actually helped...along with knowing that water doesn't flow UP! We talked about options, including putting on a new roof, but their recommendation was just to patch because the roof overall was, despite its age, in relatively good shape. Better still, despite regular rainy days continuing the leaks, the other companies could not come to do the job for weeks. Wagner's said the preventative work might take a while (it was a couple weeks and no big deal), but the emergency leak patching would be done ASAP. Sure enough, they took car of it the very next day! And best of all, their quote of $600 was half that of the other companies, and they even beat that by $60 when all was said and done!Needless to say, I'm quite satisfied.

They were fantastic! The workers were very clean and neat. They were very professional, they did the roof with only 2 men. The clean up was great which is hard with a complete tear off.

It was requested I be at the house for the estimate (only company to request this), but the amount of information given to me was the same as other companies that quoted for me. Was also supposed to get a quote for exterior painting, but the paint guy didn't come out with the gutter guy, so was told to call to reschedule another appointment.

Since I had such a terrific experience last year with the entire Wagner Home Improvement crew (installation of all new siding, 32 windows, gutters & downspouts), I immediately called on them again to help with the roof leak. I made the appointment for Friday, 08-24-07. Thursday, Larry called me and asked if it would be convenient for me if his man, Dave, could come out that day. This was certainly good news for me as our area had been experiencing some storms with wind and very heavy down pours of rain. Of course, I said, "Yes!" Dave arrived in good time, his attention to the other areas in need of attention is much appreciated.

You couldn't ask for a better contractor. Larry and his team were very efficient and polite throughout the entire process; from quote thru project completion. Several issues surround our siding (which had not been installed by Wagner's) required taking some siding off the back of the garage and installing it above the front door frame. They had to build a rotted-out entrance from scratch, and the results are amazing. Larry works with you to arrive at a final product that he and the customer is happy with. His crew was very efficient, cleaned up the area every day, and even was able to avoid disrupting new landscaping that was installed prior to their project. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience (and I've had some bad ones in the past with other contractors!) I definitely will be engaging Wagner's next year when we trade out 6 old windows in our sunroom!

They were so nice, polite, efficient and took care of my problem. They did all the necessary work including insulation. They did a very good job at a very reasonable in price. I would recommend them and use them again.

Responded promptly for an estimate. They were thorough and professional and installed the new roof within their estimated time frame. I was very pleased with the end result.

When Wagner came out, he got up on the roof and told us, we didn't need a new roof. He did suggest we get new siding and we did take his advice. He was very honest and professional and we would consider using him again, if or when we do need the roof replaced.

Randy came out as scheduled. He did a thorough evaluation. He was knowledgeable and professional. He promised to call in a few days with an estimate and follow-up with a written estimate. He did call with the estimate but never provided a written estimate. I was surprised since this company had so many good reviews on Angie's List. Since he didn't meet his commitment, I won't do business with a company that I have a problem with at the very beginning. The verbal estimate was about $4,000 more than the price I ended up for the exact same shingle and substantially the same work with another company from Angie's List.

My wife and I could not be more pleased with the entire Wagner Home Improvement roofing experience. The project consisted of a complete new roof overlay, ridge vents, stack flashing and valleys. Randy's guidance concerning the scope of the work and selection of materials was very reassuring and we felt confident to proceed with Wagner Home Improvement for this work. Roy and Scott did a superb job. It was a pleasure to interact with them as they proceeded in their workman-like manner. They kept us informed of each days starting and ending time, and each day s progress. Added to that is they are gentlemen. Wagner gave great assistance to assemble all the documents necessary for our Home Association approval process. They made it very easy for us. They showed up on time and cleaned up any mess. Dave was knowledgeable and answered all questions. The foreman, Randy, explained everything in as much detail as I asked for. The estimate was right on. He also gave advice on the wall and ant problem that had developed from the leak (1-2 year leak). The roof color and shading was difficult to match but they did such a good job that I can't tell where it was replaced.

Mr. Wagner was prompt in giving us an estimate and proved to be very knowledgeable and helpful. The interval between placing the order and the installation was less than a month, which pleased us. The installers were prompt, courteous and steady in their work and they cleaned up nicely upon completion. They were a pleasure to work with and we would definitely hire this company again.

RANDY THOUGHT THAT THIS JOB REQUIRED MORE OF A COMMERCIAL ROOFING COMPANY THAT HANDLES LARGER JOBS. HE WAS HERE ON TIME, EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND I AM SORRY THAT HE IS NOT GOING TO BE DOING THE WORK. I ALSO HAD A DECK DOOR THAT WAS A LITTLE TIGHT, HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP FIX A PATIO DOOR AT NOT COST. I WAS IMPRESSED THAT HE WAS HONEST, AND DID NOT DO A JOB THAT WAS TOO BIG.

THE OWNER CAME OUT. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, INTERESTED AND WAS THE HIGHEST QUOTE OF THE QUOTES I RECEIVED.

Wagner was able to come out and fix the job for me. The price they quoted me was less than the amount they charged me.

It was great! They gave me a timely estimate, and the work was done within a week. The workers were professional and polite, and they did a great job.

Larry was on time for the appointment and went over work. He submitted a written estimate which was complete. We were not happy with the siding colors he had available and he gave us several houses to look at. Ultimately we found the color we wanted ourselves with a supplier he did not regularly use, but he did not raise price. Removing siding especially when the weather turns bad can be a noisy and messy job. All factors considered they kept the mess under control as best as can be expected. They generally had one craftsman and one or two laborers on the job. While at first we were concerned that that they did not have more workers on the job, the workmanship by the craftsman was excellent! It took about a week and a half to complete in less than great weather. We had one small problem when a nail shorted out a circuit, but Randy Sindelar came over immediately and worked to find the problem. One of electric wires was too near the surface in the area. The final job looks great!

We were very impressed with the initial inspection including a very thorough inspection in the attic by Randy Sindelar. He pointed out potential problems with ventilation and the attic bathroom vents. He noted some possible areas where plywood might have to be repaired. Several other contractors gave us estimates without even going into the attic. Larry Wagner and Randy were very patient and gave us several homes to look at for workmanship and color. When work started they worked steadily at it. They did not put any large trucks or bins in our drive. They placed all debris in a trailer hooked to a pickup and removed all debris each day. Randy noted some light white discoloration in the plywood, but did not push replacement. We opted to replace it to be conservative. Though the weather turned bad, they protected the unfinished portion and completed it he next day. They also installed two skylights in our front hall which we are delighted with!

They were professional, on time, easy to work with, and flexible. Do not remember cost.

I had a leak I could not find. He explained everything. Looked at the roof and explained what he found and what he suggested to be done. I enjoyed the feed back from him and advice. I asked if he did some other work that I needed done (not roof) and he gave me someone he trusted.

Wonderful! These guys are real professionals and have set a high bar for anyone else who works at my home. They were not the lowest estimate which we received but the peace of mind I had from day one with this crew was well worth the money. They were punctual, polite, neat, and always meticulous in their work. I have raved about them since they finished work on my house last fall. So many people have complimented us on their work. I consider myself lucky to have found these guys on Angies List. What more can I say? It is a family business and they treat you like family, and all the workers are gentlemen. Superb staff, I highly recommend them.

I had a dispute with them regarding when the invoice was due. Because when I go the quote they said I had 30 days after the work was done. Three weeks later they called trying to collect on the invoice, which I hadn't received yet. They sent me an invoice and 6 days later called me again. They were very unprofessional. They left me a message saying they would be at my home in 15 minutes to collect on the invoice. I did not appreciate them getting rude about the situation. They also left a lot of roof tacks and cigarette butts in my driveway.

I called on Tuesday, made appt. for Wed at 3:00 p.m.. At 3:08 I got called from the company, they said they were running about 10-15 more minutes late and asked if it would still be okay, I said yes. He came, looked at the job, gave me a price and said he could do it right then. He was hired. I then asked him about some aluminum siding repair, he gave me a price and will return after the first of the year to do complete that job. I then got information for a client of mine who is interested in insulation, siding and possibly new windows. He gave me the name and number of a company who he feels is reputable for the insulation and said he would be happy to give a price on the rest of the work.
