The Plumbing Source

Everything is working fine. There was a one day delay, but they did call me and it wasn't a problem. I was pleased with my experience.

The worker knew what he was doing and seemed to enjoy his job. He explained what he was doing and was happy to answer my questions. He also cleaned up after himiself, which I appreciated.

Getting ready to leave for a trip and discovered a leak in our pipe in the basement(a river of water flooding our floor). Called and had a plumber out in 1 hour(helpful and friendly office staff). He fixed both shutoff valves, cleaned up our floor, and fixed a pipe noise problem that we have put up with for 20 years! They were so quick to help us that we were able to leave for our trip on time!!! I know that I can count on them to help in all emergencies, use quality parts and do the job to code!

They were very professional, and clearly explained the steps of the process. They were kind enough to check on another plumbing issue we had, even though that was not part of our inital appointment. While we did not have a price quote for the cost of the drain work, they were worth the price that we paid.

Everything was completed satisfactorily. The crew was polite and kept things tidy each day. The job took longer than originally planned. I would definitely hire them again.

I have been using them for years, and I use them all the time. The other plumbers that I have called for work are so inexperienced that they often leave without properly fixing things. It?s a different story whenever I call Plumbing Source. They always fix things right every time they come out. They are pricey, but we get what we pay for. If I want the job done right I would call them in a minute. We have to pay more than we would pay anyone else to have Plumbing Source come out.

I called the Plumbing Source at about 11:30 a.m. and the dispatcher contacted Mike Hess, who was on a job in Medina. He then called to tell us that he would be at our home around 2:30 p.m. Mr. Hess worked for over 2 hours and cleared the drain under the kitchen sink. The drain had become blocked on Saturday night and the half bottle of Dawn that my wife poured into the standing water did not help. On Sunday morning, I poured Drano (labeled safe for garbage disposals) into the drain. My wife tried running the disposal with cold water to flush out the blockage. The extra water and Drano that were forced into the dishwasher overflowed onto the floor and leaked through the basement ceiling. Mr. Hess said that the blockage initially caused by the gravy in the trap was not the only problem but that an accumulation over many years had caused another blockage farther down in the drain. We considered ourselves fortunate in that the real blockage downstream was removed before significant damage later on could have occurred. Also, regarding the toilet valve, he said that we had about a week left before the valve would have failed.

Their price was a little more. The quality of their work was good. I will use them again in the future.

I purchased the toilet at Home Depot Monday 11/30/09 and had originally contracted with them for installation provided it could be done within the week because I will be out of town for next two weeks. I was assured that would be no problem. After three days I had not heard from the installers to set up a date and time. Went back to HD on 12/3/09 and talked to the store manager. He called installers who said they could not do job for two to three WEEKS. I cancelled the install and referred to Angies List. When I called the Plumbing Source late in the afternoon yesterday12/3/09, Tony said they have no problem installing the toilet I bought and could do it the following day "if that's alright". He said the cost would be between $150-175. I received a call this morning 12/4/09 to say they were on the way. Mike arrived less than a half hour later. He did an excellent job. Tarped the floor, took out existing toilet and installed new in less than an hour. Cleaned up as he went along. I would not hesitate for a second, using this company again. In fact, I have two more toilets to replace and they will do both. Excellent job. And by the way, it was $150.

They are supposed to come back today because one of the problems didn't get fixed. So far I am pleased with the service. They were very good. The office personnel took several of my calls and answered all my questions. The plumber was a very nice person and he did explain everything that he had going on. He was very good.

I called the company over the week end and the man who answered the phone was very polite and professional. He was able to set a day and time that fit my working hours and the person who came to do the job was on time. This person walked me thru each step of the process and was honest about what could be done to fix the problem and what could not be done. Overall my problem was fixed and the worker took off 32.00 on the final bill because he said my son was so nice to have helped him clean up. Thank you Plumbing Source for sending me a professional and caring young man who knew what he was doing. you made my mentally retarded son feel real good about himself when you thanked him repeatedly!!!!!!

They were punctual and clean. They did excellent work. I like everything about them. I will definitely use them again. They cleaned up after themselves. They cleaned up everything.

They were ok - I found them to be responsive. They were also clean, timely and worked well with us.

Was having intermittent problem of sewer smells in basement over several months, finally called on a Monday afternoon when smell was occurring. Two people from Plumbing Source showed up 9am Tuesday (no smell at that time) and were done by 10am after snaking the sewer and finding some roots. Last power snaking had been done 7-8 years ago. They recommended snaking every 2-3 years.

Brian did a great job. Very friendly and professional. Felt the cost was high, but all in all very satisfied. Forgot to ask for the Senior and Angies List discounts tho!

We were very happy with their work. They came the next day and they were on time. They called ahead to see if they could come a little bit earlier. We have hired them several times and they clean up afterwards, you would never know that they were there. They do what they need to do and they are very attentive to detail.

After a lot of time spent with a plunger and pouring drain cleaners down the non-disposal side of my double kitchen sink trying to clear a very very slow drain, I knew it was time to get help when one of the pipes underneath the sink started dripping, no doubt the result of my overzealous workout with a plunger. I called Plumbing Source on a Sunday morning and opted to pay the extra charge to have someone come out that day. Ben arrived promptly and got right to work on the clog. As it turns out, the clog was about 10' beyond my sink but he snaked for another 25' beyond that point just to be sure. He also suggested I replace the maze of PVC pipes, some with accordion pleats, under the sink and I agreed that they were in a sorry state. (Ben commented that it looked like the previous owner had just made countless trips to Home Depot until he finally had enough pieces, parts, elbows and traps to get everything connected.) The drain assembly on the non-disposal side of my double sink also needed to be replaced when it started dripping after it was tightened. All in all, the work took well over 2 hours, which included a lot of testing to be sure the drain was clear and the new pipes were bone dry with the water running. Cleanup was also meticulous. I've had occasion to call on Plumbing Source in the past and I continue to be impressed with the quality of their work and their fast response time.

Our main sewer line was clogged (I found out when water from a load of laundry didn't drain properly and flooded part of the basement floor). They were able to come out the day I called, which was nice. They came promptly, were courteous, polite, and professional. They put down floor coverings so they wouldn't dirty the carpet that they had to walk and carry equipment over. They did the job that we needed done. We have had this done a few times in the last few years, most recently about 9 months ago. This is the first time we called this company. The work they did was pretty standard for this problem, but they charged quite a bit more than the plumber I used before (that's why I gave them a C for price). But I would call them again if I needed someone to come out in a hurry.

They did good, quality work. They were on time. They are good people. When we called with a question or problem they were there instantly the same day to fix the problem at no charge. Can?t ask for better than that. I would hire them again. We use them routinely.

Had this company out two weeks earlier to snake the bathtub drain. At that time, the plumber suggested that it was time to replace my old water heater. I started to ask, "would that explain..." and before I could finish my question, he said "the noises in your pipes?" and I said, yes, that was exactly what I was going to ask. Yes, it would explain the symptom, and sure enough, the new water heater has solved that problem. They scheduled the installation around my schedule, they were prompt and courteous and quiet. I have used this company in the past, and I'd use them again the next time I have a plumbing problem.

They come when you call. If they say they will be here, they are here. They are very reliable and efficient. They get the job done. I have referred them to many people.

My sink was clogged, they came and snaked it, and now it works. I use them all the time, they come when you need them. They are nice and neat. The job was also done on a Saturday, so the price was slightly higher, but worth it since I did not have to miss work. They also honored my 5% discount through Angie's List.

They tend to be very accommodating. I knew I was going to have to pay extra because I needed them to come on a Saturday. I called and they said they had somebody in the area and would be able to come quickly. It is always nice to be able to use your kitchen sink. They are expensive, but I have a very dysfunctional schedule and I need their flexibility. I don't have a choice. They are going to come back to tell me what I need plumbing-wise because I am thinking about doing some remodeling.

They were very responsible. They showed up on time. When I had a problem they came out and fixed it right away. My experience with them was wonderful. The price could have been cheaper, but it was good. I would use them again in the future if I needed them.
