The Plumbing Source

After calling this morning regarding our sump pump which was not working properly, we were very pleased to have someone (Dennis) come at 10:00 AM. As it was raining and we were very concerned about the basement taking on water, we were guaranteed someone would be out by the end of the day. The office staff was pleasant and personable and contacted us as soon as they had someone available and on their way. Dennis checked the situation, advised us that the check valve was the problem, quoted us the amount to replace and had it done in no time. He took the time to explain everything and gave us some great ideas for any future problems. Have used this company in the past and would again without hesitation.

Our problem is water in the basement which we never had before, when we get rain . So we thought it may be because the storm drain was not flowing properly. We have not touched our drains in 30 years. However we clean gutters twice a year. So the drains were not too bad. Originally we thought all 7 drains should be cleaned. But it turned out they only had to do 3 of them. Because they could tell the others were operating properly because they could hear their snake while working on other drains. So they told us it would not be necessary to do all 7. they suggested we call the city to snake by the street, but it turns out that our city does not do that. I can't tell if the job was perfect because we have to keep an eye on the basement during rainy weather to determine if our problem is solved. But the men were very polite and easy to work with and had all the up-to-date equipment to do the job properly.

They were first rate. They cleaned up after themselves and showed up on time.

I had a leak in an outside faucet in my driveway. I called them on a Friday evening. Their answering service took the call, and somebody called me back within 10 minutes. An appointment was scheduled for the next morning. The next morning, the technician arrived on time, found the problem and explained the problem, told me the price, then did the repair. Considering that it was a Saturday and an emergency, the price was reasonable. Excellent service! I would recommend them to others.

Tim came on time and said we needed to have the city turn off the water at the street.To let him know when that was done and he would be back between 2 and 4 pm. He came back a little before 4pm and replaced the leaking shut off. He then rebuilt the old bathtub faucet. He showed me how the shut off worked. He left everything as clean as when he arrived. Very curteous and professional. Would highly recommend.

It went pretty well dispite the fact it took several hours to complete which was not surprising at all. They did call me in advance to tell me they could come earlier than I expected which was great. I would hire them in the future.

I have used them several times. I had other workers out working on my gutters and informed me that they could only get so far and recommended me getting the drain snaked. The Plumbing Source was very helpful and tried to come at a convenient for me. First time they came out it was storming and we had to reschedule. I am very comfortable with this company. They are not cheap, but do a good job. They have a full time woman answering the phones. She does a great job coordinating the work and is very professional. I would recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing work.

The price was pretty much what they quoted. There weren't any problems encountered. Tim gave a great explanation of what work he was going to do it, what should happen, potential problems, solutions to those problems (if they arose). A second service person showed up to help on the second drain so it ended up going quicker, which was great for me. They were very prompt - had an appointment for between 11-1, and they showed up about 15 minutes early. Overall, very happy with the work. A bit more expensive than a different quote that I received for only 1 drain, but the Plumbing Source gave me a discount (about half-price) for the second drain clearing as well as the pipe install. Tim explained that they gave a discount for multiple jobs/services at the same time because they are making the company money the longer they are there doing different jobs instead of out driving around wasting gas and not working so they pass those savings on to the customers...great idea, and I'm very thankful for it!

They explained in detail the work involved and the time to complete. Did a nice job of clean up.

The entire process took a long time but Mario was fantastic and worked extremely hard. He even came back New Year's Day morning to finish the job, after having worked for hours trying to unclog the pipes the night before, all the way up to almost midnight. The home is over 50 years old and the cleanout could not be located by the city or other plumbing company outdoors. Inside, the pipes were too rusty to cut and insert a cleanout so they had to attempt snaking it first. Then when that didn't accomplish the task, another machine was brought in to blast it out, which finally worked. Mario was such a hard worker and super pleasant. We would definitely call this company again.

They did a great job. The price was great. They gave us a 10% seasonal discount. The workmanship was excellent. We have used them in the past. Their responsiveness was good. The availability was good; they do the same day service. They were nice. The overall experience was excellent. I would use their services again in the future.

Bill was wonderful, he gave us recommendations and will be following up with him in the future for replacement water treatment eqipment. He gave us a temporary fix that's working quite well! It is nice to have people in your home that are respectful and know what they are doing!

Our kitchen garbage disposal hadn't been working properly for a few months. At 10 years old I suspected it might need replaced. Brian arrived promptly, listened to me describe the symptons, then got right to checking the disposal out. He showed me and expained exactly what he was doing, why, and the implications the entire time. Sure enough the disposal just wasn't shreding the garbage any longer and simply needed replaced. He described the models available on the truck, their benefits and costs. While I hadn't investigated new disposals their available options sounded resonable and I selected the 1 hp model for him to install right then. He installed it, cleaned up and was finished in no time. He was very courteous, professional, and most importantly it's been a week since he installed the new disposal and it's been performing wonderfully.

Everything went perfect. They were very helpful. They were very efficient as well. The serviceman Brian was excellent.

We came home from out of town on Thursday and discovered that the 30 year old water heater was leaking. I wasn't surprised, and I wasn't panicked since we have two bathrooms each served by a separate heater. We could still take hot showers. I called The Plumbing Source based on Angie's List reviews. Got the message service since it was about 6:00PM when I called. I asked for a call after 8:00 AM Friday. At 8:05 AM they called and I explained what I needed. They called back in 10 minutes and said they would be out that morning. I should point out that this was February 25th and all of Cleveland had had 8 - 12 inches of heavy wet snow overnight. Eric and Greg showed up on time, surveyed the situation and went to work. Each took a separate heater and they were done with both in about 2 hours. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work and the quality of the guys. The only thing I felt bad about was that it kept snowing the whole time they were here and they almost got stuck in my driveway trying to get out. Of course it didn't help that the city plowed that 12 inches of wet snow into my driveway during the 2 hours they were here. I will definitely call The Plumbing Source next time I need help.

I am a 50/50 report. The service provided was good - the toilet issues are better, but as a consumer i was upset with the large bill amount for the recommended, non-estimated part. The parts were more than 80% of the overall bill. I felt this price should have been communicated with the consumer prior to installation, especially for the large amount. I did contact the company and express my concerns. They were understanding that i was upset about the non-commincation between repair prices and the consumer. They were helpful in finding a common ground. And i as a consumer appreciate their concern for consumer's satificiation.

Called Plumbing Source relative to water leaking through the ceiling from a bathtub on the second story. The technician was on time, and had correctly diagnosed the problem within minutes - an incorrectly-sealed drain. He fixed it in under an hour, and I have had no problems since.

They worked much of the day and did great work, fixing all leaks and enabling the gas company to restore our service. Their technicians were diligent and personable and acted in a highly professional manner, giving us confidence that they had this unsettling situation at hand. We've used another good plumber in the past for minor, water-related repairs, and after this good experience with The Plumbing Source, we may use them for all our plumbing service.

The Plumbing Source came very quickly. Mario was a wonderful person and he suggested that I use some cleaner that he had that really took care of some stains in the toilet as well. The toilet also worked so much better after he was done, and while he was working he gave me guidance on various other kinds of toilets as well which was excellent even though he wasn't trying to sell me. I was so impressed with the service, Mario could not have been nicer or more pleasant. They have come before to take care of a problem that other plumbers couldn't do such as dealing with the house water pressure.

The Plumbing Source are very good. They come when they say they are going to come. They do a good job.

The job was completed in a couple of hours (like Mario said). I appreciated they way he performed the work and how he treated me and my family. Will definitely use them again in the future.

I called the day after X-Mas and the woman who answered was as nice as can be. She told me she thought she had an opening first thing Monday morning, but I should call in the morning to confirm. I did. She told me I was on the schedule. Two men came within the hour. They were done and cleaned up within 2 hours. They answered all my 'stupid' queastions. Gave me some suggestions. Great experience.

My laundry tub backed up, but I couldn't find where it was plugged. The trap was clear. I called and talked with a very professional office manager who scheduled a visit for the next day. Mike arrived, cleared both the laundry sink and also snaked the kitchen sink, just in case it was the culprit. He was polite and very professional. I had just returned home from surgery and was feeling pretty awful. Mike went out of his way to tell me a story that brightened my day. What a terrific plumber and awesome guy! Mike is worth his weight in gold! The office manager called a week later to ensure everything was still working. Fantastic customer service, good price, well worth it. HIghly recommended!

Overall it went great. I will from now on ask for Tim and Levi personally when I need to call for plumbing again. I am thankful that my sister went on Angie's List to find them. Thanks The Plumbing Source, Cathy
