The Plumbing Source

Tim arrived promptly and explained what was going wrong with my old water heater. He gave me what I thought was a fair out-the-door price to replace it, and he had a new water heater in his truck. He called a colleague to come help with the installation, and he arrived in less than 10 minutes. Together they worked quickly, cleaned up everything, and hauled the old unit away. I will definitely call Tim and the Plumbing Source for any more plumbing problems.

They were very responsive and came next day after the call. The work took a few hours, more than a standard job so paid more than expected. The cleaning was long overdue and they removed a lot of dirt and tree roots. Overall, very professional and quick service.

Excellent. They are pricey, but worth it to get it done right and they are very professional.

The work was good but I did think they were a little expensive.

They had a crew at my house within two hours to repair the pipe that I broke and this was on the MLK holiday. They replaced my well filter the following Friday (based on my scheduling restrictions) with a solution that was better than what had been installed by my home's builder. I have used them multiple times and have experienced nothing but professional and flawless service.

They did a really fine job. He cleaned up everything after himself. He was very quiet. The water pressure is excellent. The water tastes great. The staff is very easy to get along with.

ill This long saga started one weekend when my husband said, "I noticed that one of the shower sprays is leaking. I'm going to replace the washer and see if that helps." When I returned from some errands, he told me that he couldn't replace the washer because the shut-off valve wasn't working. We decided to call The Plumbing Source because they had done some work for us many years ago. When the plumber Mario came, he discovered that 3 of the 7 shut-off valves were not working. He said that we would be wise to just replace all of the valves, since they were so old. It seemed like just a matter of time before others wouldn't shut off. Then he looked at the shower. Mario and my husband were surprised to discover that there was no access panel to the plumbing valves in the bathroom. Apparently it never occurred to the builders of the house in 1949 to include an access panel. Mario said in order to get to the plumbing, he would have to cut a hole in the wall. My husband told Mario that the bottom 2 shower sprays didn't work very well, so they decided to replace all 3. Mario ended up cutting 2 holes in the wall so that he could replace the valve for the bottom shower spray. He said that the pipe was very corroded. When it was all done and over with, Mario and his assistant, Levi, had replaced the 8 shut-off valves in the basement, the shower valve and the 3 shower sprays and handles. It was a major expense but now we are enjoying the improved shower. And, as Levi said, we have the security of knowing that we can shut off the water to the house if it is necessary.

See above. Plumbers are hard to find and I owe Angie's List for Rudy Stanek. I would never attempt to address another plumbing problem without him and have given his name to several people--who were eager to receive it.

They were on time and were very professional. They have worked with us before so they kind of knew what was going on and they took the time to explain what they were doing. They are expensive but they get it done. I will use them again in the future.

They are timely and responsive. I have recommended them to people in the neighborhood. I would certainly stick to them.

I called early in the morning and spoke with a very nice gentleman, letting him know of our clogged kitchen sink problem. He was courteous and polite and sympathetic about the problem. He called back again in 20 minutes saying a plumber was on his way. The plumber was here in 15 minutes. The plumber was courteous, polite, very capable, expeditious and professional. He fixed our sink in 15 minutes. He lay a clean blanket down on the floor before snaking out the sink and thoroughly cleaned everything up afterwards. Everything went perfectly well. I received a discount because I am an Angie's List member and have been for years. The fee was very reasonable. I will definitely call The Plumbing Source again for any future plumbing work and/or plumbing problems.

They were great. They called back quickly and were professional.

We used The Plumbing Source to install tank-less water heater, remove out old hot water heater. in the process they had to re rout some of the water lines, the gas line, and while they were here I had them install some frost free pipes for the outside spickets. They noticed that the main line in the home was leaking repaired that and moved the water meter making it easier to access and less likely to have issues in the future. They were great! Showed up on time and had this project and all the other extras done in about 5 hours.

When I called for an estimate, they were able to come out within a day of my initial call. Mike was polite, on-time and professional. I explained what we wanted to do, he made some suggestions and went through the step-by-step procedure they would follow. Mike also performed the work. They arrived on time and verified what we had decided before starting. I was anxious about having work done on a gas line and they were very careful to explain how they would do the work. When they finished, they ran a 20 minute whole house gas line test to ensure that everything was safe and sealed properly. When the work was done, they showed me everything that had been completed, answered all my questions and cleaned up completely. We have used them before and would definitely use them again.

They were great. They are very professional and I think they are really good. It looked like a work of art when they were done. The price was fair, and it was not an outrageous cost considering what they did. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. I think they take a lot of pride in their work and it shows.

The service was great, as usual. I have used The Plumbing Source in the past and will continue to use them in the future. Tim was prompt and finished the job quickly without compromising quality. When he came into my home he dragged mud onto my throw rug and he took the time to clean it up which I appreciated.

I called The Plumbing Source, and the dispatcher was able to arrange an appointment for only a few business days later, when I was prepared to wait a week. The technician (Mike) was very friendly, professional, and made sure to explain everything so I understood. The repair was made quickly and without fuss. All in all, it was a very painless experience, and I would definitely use them again.

All-in-all it went well. I've used The Plumbing Source for years and while I know I may be paying more for their services, I also know it'll be done right. My problem is with whoever quoted me the price for the installation. I was quoted one fee over the phone and when the plumber came he said that it would cost $120 more. It turns out that the price quote is different if they are installing a "one hole" faucet, or a 3 hole faucet with the hot and cold coming out of their own hole in the sink. I understand that it's harder to install a 3-hole but I should have been asked whether it as a one-hole or a 3-hole. My guess would be that it wasn't the quoters first day on the job and he should have known better. If it was his first day on the job, perhaps he shouldn't be the one quoting the job. The nice thing about Angies List is that we can keep contactors in line with these reports.

Called and scheduled an appointment. The plumber showed on time and completed work quickly and accurately. Cleaned up his work area too.

They did an excellent job. They were very profesional and thorough. I am very happy with their services.
