The Plumbing Source

It was a professional job from start to finish-am very pleased-no complaints. The team that performed the work was exceptional.

We frequently used The Plumbing Source to address our plumbing needs. While they are expensive, their positive attributes - professionalism, punctuality, expertise - far outweigh the cost. Should we have future plumbing-related needs, we will call them again.

Called them for a stopped up kitchen drain. 2 workers showed up promptly, within an hour. They were courteous and professional. Inspected the plumbing and determined that in addition to the clogged drain I had a cracked PVC drain pipe in the basement, and undersized pipe leading from the sink. Snaked and flushed drain, replaced pipes, took about 3 hours. Gave me 4 estimated repair options at different cost levels. Were neat, worked quickly, and cleaned up. Explained what the options were in detail. The only reason I gave them a "B" for cost was because the option to just snake the drain and flush it was roughly $300, which seemed pretty high. However for the amount of work I ended up having done, I don't think the $580 I paid was too far out of line. Got a 5% discount for Angies list. Would use them again.

So here we are - out of pocket by nearly $400 and a sink even worse blocked than before.

They did a fine job and are professional. Update: We experienced a failure in the installation (pluming for sump pump began leaking). They promptly sent out another technician to repair the issue at no charge. Well Done! I was a little disappointed that the second technician seemed to suggest that a different pump design would have been better suited for our application. It would have been good to have that info prior to the initial installation. That said, this is a quality vendor who we would certainly use again.

I called yesterday and got a next day appt. I recieved a call 30 minutes before they arrived. Mario and Andrew were great. The problem was assessed, I was given an estimate and they went right to work fixing the problems.

It was great. Al quickly diagnosed my problem, got to work fixing it and was very friendly, funny and informative. He did a great job!

When I called to schedule the plumber the scheduler was very nice and totally accommodated my schedule. They said they would call about a half hour before the plumber arrived, and they did. Because this is an older home and I did not know when the appliances had been purchased, I was prepared to hear that the disposal needed replacing. Since the disposal stopped working, the kitchen sink also became plugged. The plumber arrived right on time, put his little booties on the protect the house, and got right to work. Within about a half an hour, he had the disposal working and the sink unplugged. He also told me how to avoid future problems with both. He fixed the faucet drip in only a few minutes. Even though the bill was only a fraction of what I thought i might have to pay,he accepted my Angie's List discount and was back out the door in what I consider record time. It was totally a good experience and I would definitely use then again.

They were very good. The technician was really good and very clean. His work was neat. He was prompt and friendly. He explained the problem and fixed the problem right away. I got them from Angie's List.

I called them yesterday and they were out first thing this morning. They were super polite and clean. They were considerate of my home. They were 2 nice guys and they came out and did a great job. When I asked him to treat one more thing he did it on the spot. I would have them back again definitely. They were a little bit late but not much, just about 20 minutes.

Hot water tank began leaking late Sunday. I called Monday morning and by the end of the day had a new hot water tank. They also replaced a leaking kitchen faucet & replaced a corroded plumbing valve in the same trip. Workers were extremely professional. Mario explained everything up front and no unexpected costs were incurred. They cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use again.

When I called to set up an appointment, the lady was very friendly and curtious.She set up the day & time and told me the name of who would be coming, what he would be driving and wearing. Since I live alone, I appreciated knowing who to look for and let into my home. The plumber arrived on time and with everything needed to complete the job. He was very professional & answered all my questions. The only problem I had with this company was the amount charged. There was no breakdown of parts and labor. When asked how he arrived at that price he explained to me that, "the owner determined what each job should cost and put it in a book and thats the price we have to go by." So for a 1/2 hour job I was charged $175.00. Whirlpool sent me the part that they determined was the problem. When asked to explain why he was charging that much for a 1/2 hour job, he only repeated "the book" explanation, and threw in something about a large companys overhead. I decided to wait to have my leaking kitchen pipes repaired, a new faucet and garbage disposal installed. I can't even imagine how much that would have cost me! I'll wait until I'm sent one of the Angie's List plumber deals to have everything finished.

The guy they sent showed up on time and was completely professional. I will definitely use them again.

Everything has been good. They were prompt, cleaned up well after themselves and were very professional. They did a good job.

We had a lot of plumbing done, and they didn't want to stay and finish everything because they said they were tired! There were two guys and they worked all day in our home and they cleaned up good because they took all the garbage with them. They left the two toilets upstairs and they left them undone. One didn't flush, and the other one just ran all night. We had to call them back and they had to come and fix them. They had a lot of plumbing work to do. I thought their prices were high but I would use them again in the future. They are the best in the world. They take care of their repeat customers. The plumber is just wonderful. I wouldn't use anyone else! He takes good care of me.

It went very well. Dennis was very honest and professional. He arrived on time and did it quickly.

They were nice people. They did miss one item (shut-off valve) but readily came back to fix the problem. They were very efficient and professional.

I’m very pleased with the plumbers I’ve gotten. I had a problem at 4:00 on Friday afternoon and they were here at 5:00. I was afraid I was going to have a weekend of problems but they fixed it.

Brian & his helper, Gregor(z) arrived on time, & got right to work. We have two bathrooms which needed work, so they each took one, but helped each other out interchangeably. It was an all-day job, but they didn't slack, even to checking a basement water heater without charge. The price was very reasonable, and the materials they used were high-quality. Despite the problems the spaces presented, they managed to beat all of them & did the work cheerfully & professionally. All work turned out beautifully, and we will very definitely call on them for any future work.

Very well. I noticed my hot water tank was leaking on 03/19/12, and they were able to schedule me in the late afternoon the following day. Linda called me to tell me the plumbers would be at my house in a half hour. Two plumbers arrived and installed the hot water tank. They were professional and friendly. It was a pleasure dealing with this company, and I will call them for all my plumbing needs. I highly recommend them.

The Plumbing Source was at my home in a matter of a couple of hours. i was very impressed by their professionalism and courtesy. They discussed the options with me and then went to work. I was surprised at how quickly they did the job. The new water heater was in place and looked great. I would recommend The Plumbing Source!

Mike came out to do the repairs. He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. He needed to come back to put a different flapper in the toilet and did so ASAP. My mom has had this company out to repair some plumbing problems in the past and presently. They have also repaired gas leaks at her house. Again they did an excellent job. When calling to schedule an appt, Linda and Debbie are very pleasant and always willing to accommodate you. I would definitely call them again.

I thought they did a good job and would continue to use them again in the future.

Our old water heater completely burned out. We called The Plumbing Source first thing the next morning at 7:45 am and they arrived at our house at 1:30. By 4:30 we had a newly installed hot water heater. He also reconfigured the piping and put on a shut off valve. We were up and running the very next day.

We have been very happy with the service. They were very professional. They made an appointment with us, they called to re confirm the appointment, and said when their people would arriving within minutes. When they did arrive they were very neat, very courteous, and very thorough.
