Prompt, professional, neat and good quality work. The owner of the company called back after seeing this review and advised me that there was a billing error. He did refund me some money to make my charges more in line with other plumbers.

I contacted these guys twice. The first time, I had just bought a new home and the gas couldn't be turned on until leaks were addressed. I called these guys. They have a receptionist, so I was able to schedule something immediately. They sent someone by who was able to test the lines and identify and correct the leaks the same day. I thought it was a bit pricey, but the service made up for it. I called them again when I wanted to convert my wood fireplace to gas. Again, I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. The work requires a permit, so I had to give a few days before they could come to install. Even though they were not able to get the permit due prior to the appointment because the permit office was closed unexpectedly, the guy kept the appointment to assess the work and get more information about the jobs. I also wanted to get a quote for adding a bathroom, so they guy took the schematics for that at the same time. The permit office ended up giving them a very hard time and they had to send someone back out to measure all the rooms, record the BTU on all the gas appliances, and record the ventilation in the home. They worked very tirelessly for at least 2 days to prep for my job and were not in the least unphased when I called them to tell them that I just realized that my fireplace was not firesafe to the standards of the gas-log and that I needed to cancel the job until such time that I could involve a mason and completely rebuild the fireplace. They are such great sports and I can't wait to get my quote on the bathroom so I can hire them again.

I love The Plumbing Source. They are fabulous and I love them. They are reliable, they give great service, everybody is qualified. The people in the office are great. I have used them for emergencies and non emergencies as well.

They did a great job. They also did extra little jobs for me which I appreciated.

We had a massive water issue from a toilet supply line that busted off in the middle of the workday. The guy from Plumbing Source got to the house before I did after I called them in a panic. He turned off the water and probably prevented another thousands of dollars of damage. Replaced the line, and left us to deal with the rest. We use them all the time - very responsive, very punctual, professional.

My experience with The Plumbing Source was good. The worker was a few hours late due to delays at the job site prior to mine, but the company operator called me a few times to keep me updated on the status of the worker's arrival. I very much appreciated that! The worker was professional and very personable. He explained everything to me as he went. My kitchen garbage disposal had to be replaced and he gave me multiple options in different price categories. He also told me pros and cons of each option so I could make the best choice for my family. The price of the disposal itself was more than we would have paid from "a big box store", but we decided it was worth it to know it was installed properly. I will use The Plumbing Source again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber.

I have used them over the years and I have had a couple of their people snake out my tub. There was one more mature guy that did a great job rather than a half job that the other man did. I asked for a really mature man that really knew the business, they said I would have to wait at least 5 days. The man arrived with an assistant and he couldn’t get the drain off of the tub so he could use his snake. He had do go around back of the tub and open up one of the pipes to use his snake. He also said the trap could not be replaced because there was limited space and the floor was solid concrete. The plumber did not know how to get the drain lid out of the bathtub. So they did the drain. They turned the water back on and the water out of my sink drain started spraying out, which means they had not snaked enough. They allegedly cleared the sink. They left dirty snake marks on the rugs in my bathroom. Then they left. I took a shower and the water did not go out. I timed it twice and it took 5 minutes for the water to drain out of my tub. Therefore these guys did not know how to take a drain out of a bathtub, did not know how to replace a trap, and did not put the snake through far enough so all the water would drain.

They were here for 4 hours. They did a good job just expensive.

It went fine. He did good work and was here for about 3 hours. We had a coupon for money off from Angie's List and it still cost too much in our opinion.

.I had hired them to fix the toilet, he explained to me about the fact that the toilet was broken and the bolts in the tank were rusted. It was going to be extra to get a new toilet or fix the toilet that I had, so I figured I should get a new toilet so that i do not have to worry about it. They put a new toilet and it turned out that the front and all that was secure so they didn't have to do anything new in that department. So they put a new copper plate and a new lining attaching it to the water line downstairs, and i didn't have a working shut-off valve for the water for the whole house so he suggested that they could tap into the line and put a shut-off for the water. This looks like a handle so that I can shut off the water in case of a leak which I had the last week and so I was happy about that. I was happy about the work done in the toilet and the pipe they put in to go the toilet. I was satisfied with their work. When I have hired people in the past and they have a hire rating, they want to please you and they give you choices. They were very thorough and explained everything very well. I love the way the shutter is located and he even called me and made me try it. Thanks to Angie's list I was very happy because anyone would not have given me the same service and would not have come, I always use Angie's list.

He came over to fix several toilets. The work was done well. He was very knowledgable and gave me some tips for future need. So far, the work is holding.

The company was very responsive to our need and although they were really busy, they remained in contact with us regarding availability. The contractor arrived on time and in the time frame designated and did the job in the least invasive manner possible. He cleaned up after the job was complete and provided us with contact information for a contractor who could restore the area of the wall and floor that had to be removed for this job. We have no complaints!

The plumber was so nice and very neat about cleaning up after himself. I was a little happy with the installation. he left a gap along the wall. The will come out to my home a second time and they are willing to remove the sink cabinet in efforts to fix the problem.

The service was great. I noticed that the basement toilet was running about 8p.m last night I went to investigate and found the unfinished portion of my basement partially flooded. I stopped the toilet and checked the floor drain it wasn't draining. I decided to try to clear it myself first but I called roto rooter first to get them qued up just in case, planning to call and cancel if I was able to unstop the drain. I wasn't able to clear the drain so I decided to wait for the plumber, who was supposed to come between 11p.m. and 2 a.m.. At 11p.m. I recieved a call from root rooter to inform me that they would not be able to make it out to me until the next morning between 9 and 11a.m. I said ok and decided to go with someone else. I woke up early and logged onto my angie's list account to find another plumber. I chose this company because of the number and quality of the ratings they recieved I was not disappointed. I called at 6a.m. and they were on sight by 9: 30 or 10a.m.. Everyone that I spoke with or came into contact with was professional and courteous. The tech didn't waste anytime, he cam in assessed the problem and got down to business. He quoted me the price, I said ok and he knocked it out no lolly gagging around. Total he was here maybe an hour. I am a bit of a scrooge when it comes to parting with my coin so anything thats not free rarely ever gets a stellar rating from me. I understand that nothing is cheap now a days but $352.40 to snake one drain is rather steep in my book but we are living in the year 2013 so I can't expect 1983 prices.

The plumber, Al, arrived on time. He was courteous and polite. He briefly examined the situation. He had been to our home before and knew the situation well. He brought his equipment into the house. Snaked the drain. He provided suggestions about how to keep the drain clear. We will continue to use The Plumbing Source for our plumbing needs.

They were punctual and professional. I have used them at least ten times in the past and I will use no other plumbers. They are half the price of another plumber that I had gotten a quote from. They are just perfect in every way.

Once there, he was professional, worked quickly, and then explained everything he did once he was finished. He made recommendations for further services. I enjoyed their work so well I recommended them to another family member.

The water heater is located under the stairwell and the old one was oriented so that the controls faced away from the light and in a cramped space. They changed this so the tank now faces out, with clear and well illuminated access to the temperature controls and the facuet that is used to drain the tank or periodically remove sediment. This showed that they were looking at how things were set up and made sure that the replacement was set up better than what it replaced. All of the work was done in a professional and neat way. Work areas were left clean and all trash was hauled away by the company. I will not hesitate to use them again. .

My husband and I noticed drain backup in our basement, and were unable to use the water (dishwasher, toilet, shower), until it was unclogged. We called in an emergency and they adjusted their schedule to get service out to our house within a few hours. The plumber was professional, friendly and fast - knew what he was doing. Easy clean up and affordable.

On Christmas Eve, my lower level bathroom toilet became clogged which led to sewage water backing up into the shower. It was awful! The Plumbing source arrived as agreed to and worked diligently to resolve the problem. The toilet had to be removed. Once that was done, the clog required quite a bit of snaking to break it up and their machine broke during the first attempt. The company soon sent a replacement and the plumbers were eventually able to break up the clog. They cleaned up the entire mess that had been made and kept me informed throughout the process. Their price was more than fair considering the amount of time and effort it took.
