The Plumbing Source

It all went well, but not perfect. The company called to find out if I was satisfied, which I really appreciate. They sent the plumber back to fix a minor issue at no charge. I have used them in the past with excellent results.

They came in and tried to snake out the sewer. When that didn't work, they brought in a large piece of equipment - 4" cutter. Before they could use it they had to add a cleanout opening to the main sewer. Once that was in they started working to clear the blockage. Both men were very nice and professional. They kept us posted as to the progress of the problem. After 6 hours the blockage finally let go. They hosed down the basement floor and were on their way. Job very well done. We are very happy with the work.

They provide good professional service, but they are expensive.

I have hired Plumbing Source for other repairs and was quite satisfied. They were prompt in their arrival and performed the job to my satisfaction.

The Plumbing Source was pretty good. They came out, inspected my boiler, got it working for me and gave me an estimate for it. The disappointing part about it is that they spent over an hour trying to give me an estimate. The guy was going back and forth to his office and they finally gave me an estimate but their Ok and timely. They’re supposed to know what they’re supposed to do and know the estimate. It took an hour for the estimate which I don’t think is necessary.

We moved into a 1960s vintage house with older plumbing. One toilet had a toilet ballcock valve that no longer worked properly. In addition, we had a shower that was leaking. The ballcock was replaced promptly and professionally. The shower had a more substantial problem than a simple fix. We decided to postpone action on that project. As always, The Plumbing Source scheduled us promptly, called ahead of showing up, and was both courteous and professional. We will use them in the future.

Called company at 7 p.m. for leaking water heater. They drained old water heater for us that evening. New water heater could have been installed that evening or for a little less $ installation could take place first thing the next morning. We appreciated the choice and decided to have install first thing the next morning. Installation went very well. Excellent service!

They were good and showed up on time. We asked for a basic service and they provided it. The work they did was fine and they did the job adequately. They were very good, did the work on time and were very professional and clean. I was very happy with their service. The price was about what I expected.

The technicians did an excellent job all the way around. The water heater they put in is way better than the one I had before. It is excellent and doesn't even compare.

We had a leak in our kitchen ceiling in two different areas. Thought it was from the upstairs bathroom. They showed up to our home on time, researched the problem and found that the leak was actually coming from our master bathroom toilet and a second leak from the jacuzzi tub. The second bathroom toilet was loose and although it wasn't leaking, he showed us how much the wax band was worn and would start leaking sooner or later. We had him replace both toilets upstairs, repair the jacuzzi tub drain line, replace the tub fixtures, and repair the clean the jacuzzi tub motor. He did have to cut a hole in our kitchen ceiling to make sure there was no mold. Thank goodness there wasn't. So we have to have an expensive ceiling repair now. However for the amount of time that was spent at our house and the amount of work, we were satisfied with the work, their professionalism, and price. Hope we don't have to but would use them again and would recommend them to a friend.

Turned out to be an ice-dam. No plumbing work was needed, but I was impressed by the prompt and courteous service

It went extremely well. The price was reasonable, installers very professional, quality product - up a grade or two from Home Depot. I called on a Friday and they came on Monday. Were in my driveway a few minutes early. Fast, efficient. They cleaned up. Like they were never there. I have used them on numerous occasions and am always happy.

Water backed up in basement.Called Plumbing Source.They sent 2 guys about the time they said they would.After doing some preliminary work,they discovered where problem was.Then they installed clean out.They then snaked out drain where they believed it was backed up.Finally they broke through where it was clogged.They then made sure water was going down the drain with no problems.Dennis and Justin were great!!!!

To start with, I have been using the Plumbing Source exclusively for a number of years. Generally, I have been very happy with their service on existing plumbing issues. For example, clearing an existing drain or replacing a faucet. That all ended when I hired them to install new components as part of a master bath remodel. There were two tasks that needed to be completed on two different visits. The first was to convert a single sink setup to dual sinks. The second task was to modify an existing bath tub drain for a new tub and to install a new bath faucet. On both accounts the installer failed to complete the changes properly. The plumber who completed the dual-sink conversion was given detailed specs for the vanity and the new setup. He had clear access to the walls, as the room had already been gutted. However, he still managed to put a water pipe in a location that would interfere with the vanity, despite having a architectural drawing of the vanity (with measurements). The second plumber arrives to complete the second task, but he must first fix the previous plumbers work, which he did just fine. He then starts on the bath tub drain work. After some back and forth, I convince him that he does not need to open the ceiling below to complete the work. The floor in the bathroom was already ripped out. I was right and he completed the drain and faucet install. Then today, I discover that the faucet was installed incorrectly. It is sticking out from the wall too far. The install was done incorrectly after I had provided him with the faucet kit, instructions, and material samples for what would become the new bath wall and tile. He had everything he needed. Thankfully, I just caught the issue before installing the new tile, although the wall will have to come down to complete the repair. Honestly, I should have just done the work myself. I hire pros to get it done right, even though I know how to do the work. Plumbing Source is fixing the problem, but it should have never been a problem in the first place. Two failures in two visits is inexcusable for a professional company. Can anyone recommend a plumber, as I clearly need a new one.

I called The Plumbing Source and stated that my toilet had a slow leak and I probably needed a new small part. The serviceman arrived and without even looking at the toilet quoted me a price of $350 to fix the toilet.

Scott did a great job. He cut as small a hole in the drywall as he could to replace the split pipe. While he checked the face bowl drain, he put up with my lab wanting pets. Scott explained everything he was doing, answered questions, and gave some suggestions. He was pleasant and cleaned up after himself.

Called in the morning and they came a few hours later to replace the pressure release valve and some surround pipes. Very happy with their work!

Smoothly. Everything from the initial phone call to the cleanup was pleasant. The two workers were punctual, knowledgeable, and worked quietly and efficiently. It is such a pleasure to deal with a company like this one these days. The price was right, plus I even received a senior discount that was more than my Angie's List coupon.

Have used this company for 12 years. First call for real plumbing jobs as opposed to handyman jobs (replace toilet innards). Prompt, reliable service.

Discovered our basement was completely flooded on a Saturday morning after a recent thaw. Called Plumbing Source as they had previously done work at the house. There were a couple of emergency calls ahead of us, but the dispatcher gave us a timeframe for service and the plumbers arrived within that timeframe. They worked to identify the problem and clear the blocked sewer line. The crew that came on Saturday had some problems determining whether the line was completely clear, so they scheduled a follow-up for a few days later in order to come back and camera the line. They charged the return visit as part of the same job, which saved a little bit of cost. The crew that returned a few days later also arrived in the timeframe I'd been quoted, and they were quick and efficient, and luckily determined that no further blockage existed on the sewer line. The plumber recommended annual maintenance on the line due to the fact that we have a couple of large trees in our front yard, and he also suggested using copper sulfate for regular household maintenance on the line (and described the best method to do that). Though it was an expensive job, it was emergency work and I feel that both crews that assisted were very professional, courteous, and did a good job. I would recommend the Plumbing Source and would use them again.

He was prompt and did exactly what he said he would do. I would highly reccomend.

Refused to give me an estimate for plumbing work. Stated that due to the fact that it was a pipe leaking underground they could not give me an estimate until they started the work. I spoke to other plumbers who did give estimates and came out for free without requiring that I pay them up front before the work started.

I have been using them for many years. They are really friendly and I highly recommend them.

I thought it was a much more serious problem and their plumber identified the issue very quickly and fixed it.

They showed up on time, assessed the job, and let me know what it would take to complete it. They also provided me with options as to how the repair could be done cheaper.
