They arrived on time and completed the installation as expected. They also explained what they were doing and how the softener work. They also cleaned up the work area when completed.

When making appt, I was told that they would not come out to do an estimate on a Saturday as it is too expensive and causes overtime. I made an appointment for Friday 8/1 between 8-9 am. I was told this was the first appointment of the day so they would likely be closer to 8. I did not get a confirmation call so by 8:30, I called them. It turns out they did not have a correct phone number for me. The number they had wasn't even close. Apparently this caused my appointment time to be pushed back by another hour. I think what upset me the most was how cavalier they were about this. I took off work to be home for the appointment which was a big inconvenience. To have them laugh about having the wrong number and just expect me to wait for the later appointment was not a good start. I cancelled the appointment and headed into work.

Very well. They scheduled us on short notice and went out of their way to accommodate our schedule. The person that came out explained the problem and the solution to me and even helped talk me through a separate small fix we had the ability to do ourselves. We were very pleased with the service and the results.

My real mistake is that I didn't insist on a firm estimate. I was really surprised at the price, but glad to have the leak fixed, so I paid him.

They were extremely courteous. Did not take allot of time as most was done by Roto-Rooter. They were able to complete the job and in retrospect, I probably should have just called the them to begin with. I am a recent widow and am learning. They were great. Have recommended them to my neighbors and everyone is satisfied. No doubt, I will call them in the future.

The work was done in timely and neat manner. the gentleman was polite and courteous.

Installed a new sump pump and a back water valve with alarm to prevent sewer overflow from backing up into basement.

Well he came in told me how nice my place was tried to get 2 screws out of the toilet with pliers. When that didn't work he said he couldn't get the screws out and I need to buy a $500 toilet? Oh and charged $100 for doing nothing!

Since there was no urgency when I made the arrangements for Plumbing Source to come out, I was told that they would be out the next Thursday between 2 and 4 and I would be called right before they came out. I did receive a call and Craig and his assistant arrived promptly at 2 and were very polite and introduced themselves, put protective covering over their shoes and went down into the basement and did their investigation of the problem. Craig explained everything to me at each stage and reported all that was done at the end of the call. When he suggested the jetting and why I might consider it, he explained what it is intended to do. I decided to have them do it the next day. He said I didn't have to be there because all the work is done on the outside. They said they would be there around 9:30am. I got a call from the office at 8:30 am that day and was told they would be there in about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. They arrived early---9:00 on the dot and proceeded to get to work. When they were finished, Craig explained what they found and showed me a live camera shot of the Nature Stone pebbles in the line. When I asked him if he could put some large rocks under the pipe like the septic man had done (the rocks had slipped and the pipe was resting on the bottom of the ditch), Craig had the idea to put the PVC pipe under the larger pipe to lift it off the ground. He also asked me how long I had my sump pump and when I told him, he suggested that it's a good idea to replace a sump pump every four years. And that's the story!

Brian D. arrived on time and was very friendly. He worked efficiently and was very thorough. I appreciated his suggestions for replacing a couple of pieces of hardware, so we would avoid future problems. This was not a case of upselling, since the parts were less than $10. I would never have known that these items needed to be replaced had Brian not brought it to my attention. When Brian left, he left the work area in perfect condition. He was very professional and I will definitely call Plumbing Source again!

Cut out old hot water tank and improper flu. Replaced with a new 40 gal Rheem tank, gas valve, water valve, and flu work.

Repair copper pipe in garage wall. Cut out bad solder joint. Pipe and fitting not done by us.

Cut out half split copper pipe below stairs in basement and repaired pipe. Also repaired a Chicago hot and cold combo faucet and an outside spigot.

The Plumbing Source came out, on time, checked the situation and found the main sewer pipe was clogged. They needed to put in an access in the main pipe in the house and then snake the drain. When the gentleman wrote it up and told me the cost, I was overwhelmed with relief and genuine gratitude for honest professionals. We went from a minimum estimate of $4326.00 to a total cost of $623.67! I even forgot to use my coupon! We will follow advice to have camera work done to double check to see if there's a break, but again, honesty prevailed and we were assured we did not have to do it right away and should we need to replace a broken pipe, it will not cost nearly as much as the other guy. I'm so angry that scare tactics were used to try and make us spend way more than we needed to, and so unbelievably thrilled to have our faith restored in the profession of plumbing due to The Plumbing Source. Rest assured, we would NEVER consider calling anyone else should we need to.

I came home from the hospital and my toilet wasn't working. They told me not to use any water and came out very quickly to get it fixed for me. I was very happy with them. We had gone to the city to address the problem with the toilet before and they told us it was going to cost a fortune to fix. I was so happy that we found The Plumbing Source and they were able to fix the problem and save me money!

They were very good. I was pleased with the work that they did. They were punctual and effective but the only thing I would tell others to be careful about is when they try to sell you extra things like faucets and so on. I was very naive and went along with it and it was very pricey. I'd be better off buying those at Lowes and having someone put it in. But other than that, they're good and they're punctual.

I like them. I have used them before and they are very quick to respond. They work quickly and efficiently. I have never had any problems with them. I can trust them. They are pricey though.

. I had the Plumbing Source do about $2700.00 worth of work back in Dec.2013. We were gone over the winter, but had water pressure problems in June. Part of the work performed was a new well pressure tank. Called for service @ 9:30 A.M. and was told the dispatcher would call me back with service info. Waited until 2:00 P.M., I had yard work to do so I went outside to complete. Came back inside to receive voice message that I had to call them in the next 5-10 min. to schedule service. This time had passed, but called back at 4:00 P.M. and left message that I had waited over four hrs. for returned call. Next day after still another call, we were told someone would call us back with info on service. This time we waited until 5:00P.M., still no return phone call. Called back to learn that I was at fault for not returning their call with-in the 5-10 min. time frame, and that they had left several messages on our phone. WE RECEIVED NO SUCH MESSAGES. Have dealt with this firm for some time, and always received good service. Things have apparently changed, will not use or recommend in the future.

I contacted several companies before deciding on Remodeling Source, A Division of The Plumbing Source, Inc. Scott, the manager was very thorough in the quoting process and checking in during the actual remodeling work. Their quote was very competitive with others. I was very impressed with Dan, the installer. He was on time every day and very clean and respectful of my property. He laid drop cloths throughout the house and covered my furniture in plastic in the room where he worked. He did this every morning and evening before he left. I had a cultured marble tub surround installed and several new plumbing fixtures both in the bathroom and in my laundry room. I also had some soffit work and plaster repair and painting done in the bathroom and bedroom. I am completely happy with the timeliness and quality of the work.

He was on time, very professional and friendly. Seemed to know exactly what he was doing. He was done in less than two hours. He gave an estimate before he began and stuck to it. Everything works now and I haven't seen any sign of any other problems.

The company responded immediately to my telephone call and setup an appointment for that day which is excellent customer service. I did get a call in the afternoon that the scheduled plumber got called to an emergency situation. I was asked if I could wait until the next day for my work if possible. I was told if that if I had an emergency they would make the appointment but they were asking if I could delay. I had no problem with delaying because I didn't have an emergency and the fact that they contacted me to discuss this at all is very good customer service and I think commendable. (I contacted two other Angie's List "A" rated plumbers that day that promised to call me back with an appointment time, I never heard from either one of them again) The work I had would normally not be too demanding to do, I would probably have done the work myself except the tub drain, J Trap and the connected pipes were in an extremely difficult position to get to from below due to being blocked by heating ducts and tucked very tightly between the floor joists. The plumber Dennis acknowledged the difficulty but promptly started working on the problem. It took a few hours for him to complete the job due to the difficulty but the estimated charge did not change. Dennis also recommended that I replace the worn lever that opens and closes the tub drain from the big box store as it was an easy job. I love that kind of customer focused advice instead of just slamming another charge on the bill to replace the item. I recommend Plumbing Source due to my good experience doing business with them.

It really went very well. We have used this company before and they do great work. I think they are very expensive, however. If you want the job done right, then this is a good company to do your plumbing.

I was only getting hot water out of my Wolverine Brass single handle bathtub faucet. After disassembling the unit on their first visit I was told that a part would need to be ordered to resolve the problem. Once the needed part arrived I got a call from TPS and Mario arrived within 30 minutes. After installing the part and reassembling the handle assembly Mario told me that while he was working he had heard a very slow dripping sound and was finally able to track it down to the bathroom sink's copper hot water supply line coming out of the wall. (He pointed out exactly where the drips were landing in the carpet but if you didn't know where to look you'd never notice.) He was hopeful that he could fix the leak without having to cut a hole in the wall but he wouldn't know until he tried. The difference in cost would be substantial -- approximately $80 vs $200+. Since I'd been hearing the dripping for months, I was delighted that Mario took the time and trouble to track it down so I told him to go ahead (with fingers crossed that he wouldn't have to cut a hole in my wall!) Over the next half hour or so I heard very gentle tapping sounds, then silence, then more tapping sounds, then silence, coming from the bathroom. I don't know much about plumbing but it was obvious even to me that Mario was going the extra mile to remove the leaking fitting without having to cut into my wall. Thanks to his patience and perseverance my leak was fixed without a hole in my wall at a cost of $76, which included the addition of a hot water shutoff valve and new supply tubing to the faucet. I've been using The Plumbing Source for years and have never been disappointed with the quality of their work but this time around I think they (Mario) went above and beyond ... I would recommend TPS with no reservations.
