The Plumbing Source

Scott and Paul did an outstanding job at our house. They were very careful with the dust and dirt stirred up by the demolition of the old shower and flooring. They treated my house Ike it was their own. When the new shower, toilet and flooring was installed they did a great job. Couple of minor issues that were quickly resolved. I am thrilled with the work they did at our house. Some may say they are pricey but I believe you get what you pay for. I was in a quandary about who to use for the remodeling work at my house and I think I have found a great group to work with. They have done plumbing repairs before at my house and now they are my re-modelers too.

On December 11, 2014, I called Staples Heating and Plumbing, Streetsboro, Ohio (330-626-1676) for service. We are on Angie's List but wanted a local business. Streetsboro Staples was not listed on Angie's List. When I called Staples and explained the problem they said they would try to get a serviceman out that day. A few hours later the office called stating a serviceman was on the way. Kevin arrived in a Staples van. He took apart the tub faucet and determined new parts were needed and the cost would be $320.35. A Kohler part was inserted but had the incorrect stem for the handle. Kevin called another truck asking if they had the correct handle. They did and he left to get the Kohler part. Upon returning he installed the new part but it still leaked. After numerous additional adjustments it still leaked, the same if not more. Prior to leaving he presented me with the invoice which I did not examine but looked at how much was owed and paid the bill. Upon leaving Kevin mentioned that if the leak continued he might have to replace the entire system. My wife later examined the invoice and alerted me that the service was from The Plumbing Source, Bedford, Ohio, which is on Angie's List. On December 12,2014, I called the Staples number and spoke with Bryn and advised we still had the leak. She said that a serviceman would be out that day. I questioned Bryn about the discrepancy between Staples and The Plumbing Source, and she explained that Staples of Streetsboro had merged with The Plumbing Source. I mentioned to Bryn that had I known they were member of Angie's List I would have asked Kevin for a senior discount. Kevin returned with several Kohler parts on December 12, 2014, and the leak was fixed. I asked if I could get a Angie's list discount and he replied that because I paid with credit no discount. He did mention that if he returned he would give me a 10 then changed it to 20 per cent discount. He also added that he was not charging me anything additional regarding all the parts he had. It should be noted that Kevin on both trips was professional in behavior, courteous, and made several trips to meet other serviceman with correct parts. Interestingly, upon leaving he made a point that he was wearing The Plumbing Source jacket. The reason for the lengthy report is to give notice that the web site for Staples of Streetsboro should either be removed or a notation on Angie's List site of The Plumbing Source that Staples of Streetsboro is part of the organization. The important item is the leaky faucet is fixed.

While he was giving me the estimate, we noticed a little water dripping from my 80 gallon hot water tank. He stated it was no big deal, it was just a release valve, and to place a bucket underneath it and he'd fix it when he came back to do the rest of the work. The next day, I was having to empty the bucket almost 3 hours. I called them that day and they sent someone different out. They repaired the release valve. So when work was completed on everything, I went to use my washer and they had failed to reconnect the washing machine line therefore causing flooding to my laundry room and hallway leading to my kitchen on the main floor. The water was pouring through the ceiling to the basement. The Plumbing Source had someone come in and dry everything out. I in the meantime had to stay elsewhere for a weekend due to the noise of the fans and heaters. I was left with a bill for $2100 and an additional $200 to repair my water tank. I am worried that I may now have continued problems as the floor is discolored. The company that came in to dry out the area, took 2 or 3 rugs to clean and I haven't received those back.

Andrew arrived bright and early on 11/26 with a helper in order to clean up the water mess and to install the hot water heater. He was very helpful in explaining to me the relevant financial issues for making an informed choice to replace the water heater. He answered every question to my satisfaction and worked diligently throughout the day, finishing early. Andrew is an extraordinary young man who made me a believer in the old adage, "find a loyal,competent and reliable company and you as a homeowner will be rewarded." I found Plumbing Source on Angie's List.

My initial phone call first thing in the morning was answered promptly and courteously. A crew was scheduled to come out mid-morning. I was called about 30 minutes in advance of their arrival. The crew was neat and professional, answered my questions, inspected the area, and reinstalled the toilet as requested. I would not hesitate to use them again for future needs.

We have used them a number of times. They do a great job every time.

The guy was really cool. The price was outrageous though. He dropped it $500 because he used pvc instead of brass. He did a nice job! He put in a new drainage system. The price was too high though. He was very courteous. The job was well done, I was happy. Just priced too high. If they could knock their prices down, I would definitely use them again. Everything else with them is great.

This company is a division of The Plumbing Source. I use the Plumbing Source for all my plumbing needs and when I found out about the Remodeling Source, I was excited. Scott came out to estimate and talk over all our remodeling needs. He told us that once work began, they would stay on the job until it was complete. And since we needed extensive plumbing work, they would be using the Plumbing Source for that. Perfect! He also told us that it would be one or two workers that would be doing the work and that they don't sub out the work. Again Perfect! The job went phenomenal! From the minute Dan came out to the house, the work was done in an orderly fashion with minimal disruption. Dan is an amazing guy and his love for his work definitely shows in the finished product. Scott and Dan discovered black mold in both my bathroom and utility closet, and without missing a beat, called in another company that would eradicate it. I decided to throw in some "scope creep" and after initially deciding that the vinyl paneling would go halfway up in the utility closet, it would look much better if it went all the way up. I called Scott in the evening and asked if there was any way this could be done. It was a crazy tight schedule since the plumbers were coming in the next day to install the hot water and pressure tanks. Scott said he would see what he could do, and the next thing you know, Viola! Job done. Paul came out to do the drywall work-beyond talented. Dan did most of the work and as said before, he is an amazing guy. Each day, he would cleanup his work area, even vacuuming the carpet. His tile work is like art and his personality is so pleasing, that we loved having him in our house. One of the best things about all this work, as that once I hired this company, all I had to do was call Scott for anything that needed to be done. They went and got all the supplies (even the paint) and did a few extra things that I did not anticipate. Of course, my favorite plumbing company, The Plumbing Source, came out and did all the plumbing work. This company makes plumbing magic happens, and their sister company, Remodeling Source, makes remodeling magic happen. I highly recommend this company and would use this company for future remodeling needs.

Although it took a while for the service to reach us due to how busy they were, the came as the time they committed to and complete the job in less than the projected time. The project was handled in a professional manner. The workmanship was meticulous done by Dan. Scott the project manager was profession, courteous and helpful throughout the preparation and implementation of the work. We have been working with Plumbing Source since we arrived in the Cleveland area in 1999 and have always been satisfied with the professionalism of the organization. All the workers who come to the house to do the work seem to take a diligent interest in what they are doing. They will continue to be our "go-to" plumber and remodeler.

I submitted a request for an estimate on their website--twice. No response either time.

Misdiagnosis. The diagnosis was missing grout in the shower. We corrected that problem but the shower continues to leak.

I absolutely love this company!! I will never use another company for plumbing work. In fact, we are now using The Remodeling Source for major renovations. They just finished a complete remodel of a utility closet. That review will be added when all the work is complete,but I wanted to say the work is so amazing!!!

I do like this company. They are an excellent company. They are excellent in all areas like with their professionalism and clean up. I keep on calling them back for work because they are able to repair all my plumbing needs correctly in a timely fashion.

Plumbing source is prompt, effecient and very professional always. I've been using them for approximately 8 years and I've always been please with the results. They are expensive but competively priced vs other plumbers.

I called for an estmate they never called back to set a time and date

Bathroom sink drain was extremely clogged. Pipes in this area are had to judge how they interconnect. He had to work to get the snake into the sink drain because of how the sink is built into the house.

Al was great! He was on time, personable, professional and just plain nice. He found a leak I didn't realize was present and saved us untold future hassle and expense if it had gone unnoticed for much longer. He took the time to do a thorough job and made the extra effort to do the little things that really make a difference. I am definitely keeping his number and calling him if we ever need a plumber in the future!

Most plumbing services I called that weekend weren't available, and my renter had to have the water turned off due to this leak. The plumbing source called back promptly and showed up that day even though he thought it might have to wait until Sunday. He diagnosed and corrected the problem and kept me in the loop long distance the whole time. The leak occurred again 2 weeks later, so I called them back and they showed up that day, realizing it was the new toilet that was leaking, so they didn't charge me anything and were very professional about it. I would definitely use them again.

We originally called The Plumbing Source to come out and give us an estimate on replacing the main sewer line. We had problems with this line for over 30 years with roots blocking the line. Before they could come out, our lines again backed up and I could not get the water to drain through. I called them and they came out the next day and cleaned the line for us. The service man suggested that they come out with a camera to see just how bad the line was. I called them and we set up an appointment for the following week. Two servicemen came out and put a camera down the drain and showed us on the camera screen where the blockages were. We called and arranged to have someone come out to give us an estimate on replacing part of the main sewer line. The service manager came out, looked at the problem, listened to what I had to say and gave us an estimate. We set up an appointment and they fixed our problem. My contact with the office staff and the service staff was always professional. Whatever they said they would do is what was done. The service men were very respectful to both myself and my wife. When a crew of three service men were replacing the sewer line, my 9 year old granddaughter was watching them and I wasn't concerned at all to have her there. They came when they said they would. They did the job they were hired to do. The price that I listed was the total price for all three service calls. The Plumbing Source has a very friendly, professional and knowledgeable crew. They would be the first people I would call for any plumbing problems I might have in the future.

He showed up on time and was polite and professional. He checked the vent to ensure it wasn't blocked and watched all sinks drain. Very patient and answered all questions. Would certainly use again.

The plumber was very professional and efficient. Area was protected and cleaned when finished. I had used this company in the past and I was also very satisfied. I especially like the fact that there is no trip charge for going to your home. You only pay for the repair service.

except for the time to get the new faucet, everything was done on a timely manner and in a clean way.

They did a spectacular job. They came for a service call, examined the job and recommended contacting Moen for a replacement faucet sine it was under warrantee. I did and receive a free faucet which was a savings of over 1,000.00 dollars. Their work and customer service was top notch however I did still spend over 300.00 in total to get the new faucet installed.

They unclogged my sink, and had a hard time doing so. I had use some drain-o to unclog the sink later on, and it is still not flowing completely right.

Terrific! I had called another plumber multiple times with the expectation that they would come examine the issue for a future fix date. The other company never came. I called the Plumbing Source on Wednesday, and they were able to not only assess the issue Friday but perform all of the repairs as well! I will definitely use The Plumbing Source for future plumbing needs. I really appreciated Andy the technician taking time to explain everything he suggested we needed to repair.
