Description of Work: The Plumbing Source came to repair my two toilets by putting in all the parts of the tank. One toilet was in need of repair and the other one was serviced so that the plumber would not have to come out again. I received a discount on the second repair

Description of Work: Replaced old pipes under the sink and put a new drain in the basement. These pipes were really old. Unblocked the sink drain.

Description of Work: They replaced the water heater over a holiday and fixed the leaks and gas line associated with it. They were phenomenal.

Description of Work: They cleaned out my footer drains from the downspouts to the cleanout on my lawn. They did a great job and were efficient and courteous. They also replaced the washer on my kitchen faucet which only took about 5 minutes and the parts could not have been more than a few dollars but the price was much higher on the itemized bill. Maybe they have a minimum labor time? But they made up for it with their other work and the fact that they were so easy to schedule and that they were prompt and knowledgeable. Overall an A experience.

Description of Work: I called them that day with a problem of a clogged drain in kitchen and laundry room. I was unable to use my kitchen sink nor my washing machine because water would back up onto the floor from the drain. The lady I spoke to stated she would have the plumber call me. They didn't call back that day. I thought maybe they would call on Monday, but they never called me back. I had to call another plumber. I thougfht that was very unprofessional of them to not even call me back.

Description of Work: I called the Plumbing Source for a routine replacement of a water filler valve in a toilet at my office building. They promised to have someone here the next day (Friday) between 2 and 4pm. They did not show up and now one called me. When I called them the following Monday, they claimed to have no record of having booked the appointment. I then called another local plumber, who showed up within hours of my call. I was very disappointed that The Plumbing Source, despite their rather aggressive marketing, was unable to provide even the most basic professional service.

Description of Work: I had a clogged kitchen drain and called them the morning of 10/18. A short time later I received a call that they had a person available that could come out that day. Albert did a great job and explained everything he was doing. He did a great job and I will call The Plumbing Source again for my plumbing needs and request Albert specifically. I am sure other technicians are just as good as he is but I know his work is great.

Description of Work: Installed new fixtures for glamour bath in Master Bath and purchased fixtures for shower.

Description of Work: Installed new Garbage Disposal with life time warranty. Also, replaced all plastic pipes under the kitchen sink and replaced with Brass pipes. Work was done quickly and very acceptable. Only down side was the price but they did give me an estimate up front that I accepted. I just wanted it done as dishwasher was taken out because it was broken and we had no where to wash dishes because pipes and garbage disposal leaked.

Description of Work: Within an hour of my initial call I received a callback to schedule the arrival of a crew. The crew arrived less than 30 minutes later. This was several hours faster than the estimated time I was given during my initial call. The crew was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Ultimately two lines were snaked. Snaking a drain line can get quite dirty. When they had finished the crew cleaned everything up quite satisfactorily. Although a phone description of any problem is often lacking in sufficient detail to provide a completely accurate assessment and estimate, the assessment was correct and my expectations on cost were properly set. Since there were no surprises during the job, the final cost was the base price for snaking the main line. Of course they also applied an Angie's List member discount. I will use this provider in the future for my plumbing needs.

Description of Work: We have an old house with old plumbing. One of the bathtubs was completely blocked and had standing water. He was familiar with the old plumbing our house has and indicated if he is not able to snake the drain, the only other solution was to replace the plumbing by tearing into the walls. Luckily, with some perserverance, he was able to snake the drain and the water emptied out of the tub. He was professional, honest and was able to fix the tub in less than 24 hours from my initial phone call.

Description of Work: Had a faucet that did not shut off. Plumber looked at faucet, gave me an approx price and then replaced cartridge in faucet in a timely manner.

Description of Work: Service call; they put in a part that was not leaking; I ordered the replacement part; I was able to put in the new part myself.

Description of Work: We had an emergency with our water heater not venting properly out the chimney and the pilot light blowing out repeatedly. We found them under Angie's list with excellent ratings and remarks. I called Friday morning hoping to have them arrive Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. Bill called me back and sent Mario out by 10am Friday morning. Mario assessed the problem and priced a recommendation for us. They had the 60 gallon Power Vent water heater in stock and installed it by 4:30pm. The crew was very courteous and knew their product well. They removed the old water heater and cleaned up the area.

Description of Work: I had asked for camera services for the drain spouts. It was supposed to be charged only for the camera services. But, I was assessed a service charge again. I called the office manager who promised to inquire into it and get back to me, but never received a call back. I had earlier asked them to check on the loud noise every time the dishwasher cycled. On a earlier visit, they did come and check, but could not diagnose the problem and i did pay for the services. On the second visit, when the technician arrived, he listened to the dish washer again, and i was asked to pay the service charge. Would appreciate a refund of the service charge, or at least a call back from Plumbing source with regard to this matter.

Description of Work: Have used this company multiple times for a myriad of different issues from emergency repairs to new installations--always professional, prompt, friendly, and job is well done.

Description of Work: The plumber was on time and responsive. Did not find a leak in the bathroom. However he did some trouble shooting and came to the conclusion that the water might be coming from the flashing on the roof. He also checked my water valves and instructed me on how to turn the vavles off and on in the basement.

Description of Work: The two guys showed up on time, wore cloth boots to not track in mud. They were polite and professional. Listened to what I had to say. Our shower was leaking and water was getting down to the ceiling on the lower floor. They cut out a clean piece of drywall and immediately saw the problem. They added a small copper pipe piece and reconnected to shower head. Two hour job. I would call them again.
