I had a plethora of old floppies with information that I may have need for in the future. Since floppy hardware was no longer in my computer, Jerry was contacted by me and was told that'd like to have the floppies transferred to my hard drive and on to a stick. Jerry showed up in a few days with a plug in floppy drive and got right down to work. There was a box load waiting for him and he diligently transferred and identified the info on each floppy as requested. Jerry offered to take the floppies and destroy them for me however I declined since "dismantling" them would give something to do while watching the news. Before Jerry left, I explained to him that I have boxes of family photos going back to the early 1900's and would like to scan them and pass on to family members for posterity. Jerry went online and looked at the various scanners available and, after discussions regarding the excellent quality I was looking for, found one that was suitable. Jerry offered to pick it up and return to install the scanner. I deferred on he purchasing it but once acquired I would contact him to not only install it but also train me on to use the scanner. Jerry once again came through and accomplished exactly what I needed done, listened to my needs and researched viable options and offered sound guidance...all to my complete satisfaction. Many businesses tout customer service but Jerry really delivers!!

Jerry fit me into his schedule a few days after the scanner he suggested was purchased. I did a little prep work and took the scanner out of the box and set it in a convenient location near the computer. When Jerry showed at the house up he got right down to work. Plugged everything in and commenced to installing the software etc. After doing some testing we were ready to start my training on scanning and where the pics are located and how to set up appropriate files to store them. This may seem a no brainer to savvy folks but for me I need the help...reading about it may be fine for some but being shown how, what and have my questions answered immediately are paramount in my situation. (Patience in dealing with computers is not my forte!) After watching Jerry scan and save several pictures he put me at the helm. Jerry patiently observed and guided my efforts till I was in control. Then he introduced me to the cropping software. That was a little more complex but with repetition I became adept at this technique and it has proven very useful. I had a couple of questions later in the week and when contacted Jerry got me on the right track. Once again Jerry Jones came through and showed that a 67 year old can learn new tricks but in the old fashioned way...via the personal touch and human interaction. Post Script The laptop Jerry suggested for me and set up several months ago is working fine and to my complete satisfaction.

Jerry Jones did an excellent job. He was patient, knowledgeable, and ensured that everything was working properly before he left. He spent 2.75 hours and did not rush the process. We would highly recommend him for in-home computer assistance. Should have called him earlier!!!

I was very impressed with his professionalism. Because of my work schedule, Jerry scheduled an earlier appointment and arrived promptly. I am not computer savvy, however, Jerry answered all of my questions and suggested printers and speakers since mine were not working. He also followed up with me on several occasions on how my computer was working; and worked on my computer remotely. I will definitely call Jerry to work on my computer. I am a happy camper.

Everything went well. Jerry had come to my house a few years ago on an Angie's List Big Deal to tune up my computer. I kept his card in case I ever needed help. He was prompt, arriving on the minute he said he would. He was efficient and easy to talk to and answered my questions. He told me to call him if I have more questions. Over the years I have had Jerry fix my computer and rewire the components of my television. I have been always be very happy with his knowledge, professional, and responsiveness. I have also recommended him to others and will continue to do so! Today, Jerry successfully fixed the television and rewired a new DVD player. I took notes on the right settings to play the DVD, TV, Wii, and the CD player. Then Jerry had me do it myself. He was very clear in his instructions and made it easy for me to do it alone. Jerry was very prompt, even a bit early. He was polite and neatly dressed. He did everything we asked and more, and taught us a couple of things in the process. We would not hesitate to both recommend him and use him again in the future. We felt we could rely upon his excellent advice. What a joy to have such a service person!

Quickly found the problems with my equipment. Had suggestions for a reliable replacement printer when mine wasn't repairable. Promptly returns calls, prompt arriving for our appointments.

Went very well. Jerry indicated the computer would need to be re-started from factory settings but that the machine was fine otherwise.

Jerry Jones expertly helped me with a computer problem a couple of years ago, and now I was concerned about Windows XP end-of-support. I contacted Jerry via email about this and he replied in kind that he would discuss options with me shortly. I later had a lengthy phone-call consult with him. He listened to my concerns about a new operating system and gave me advice about my options. I learned that with my specific browser and security system, I didn't need to make a change straight away. This was reassuring. He told me what his recommendation would be, with respect to my specific computer use and age of my computer. He didn't try to sell me anything. He offered his assistance for when I did decide to address this situation. This consult was free-of-charge. When I decide to make a computer-change I will not hesitate to contact Jerry. I know he will help me make the best choice for my individual situation, as well as make sure the new system is running smoothly-- all for a fair price. I am less stressed about this situation because of Jerry's expertise.

I had Jerry Jones of TechBachelors last year when I had a problem with my computer. He was able to fix it but , at the same time warned me that it was very outdated and should be replaced. I indicated that I would have to wait until this year before I would be able to do this. I was aware, through friends and relatives, that this was indeed the case, so when I was able to take the plunge I called Jerry. He was familiar with my set up and the fact that it was difficult for me to shop for a computer so he indicated what would work for me, purchased the equipment himself, and brought it to my home. He arrived at the time I expected him and went right to work. He transferred everything possible from my old computer and got it all working. He explained about the outdated programs that couldn't be transferred. He indicated that if I had any problems with the new material I should just give him a call, which I will do as I try to familiarize myself with it. The cost indicated above includes the cost of the new computer and a new printer, as well as his services.

I liked everything about him. He was prompt and professional. I liked what he did for me.

, Used Jerry Jones last year to "tune up" my out of control PC. When he finished it has worked great with out a glitch or flaw! With the forthcoming loss of Microsoft XP in April of 2014 I figured it's time for a new computer with an operating system that will be around for awhile. Not being computer/software savvy and not knowing the right kind to obtain, and since he impressed me the first time he worked on my PC, I called Jerry for some guidance. Not only did Jerry hear me out but he asked the right questions regarding my needs. It had been my intent to obtain another PC however a laptop was ultimately determined to be more suitable for my long term needs. To my amazement, Jerry said that he could not only provide me with a brand new highly regarded HP laptop but also do all the necessary registration and testing at his shop and then bring it to the house and provide a proper installation...printer hook up, transfer files from my existing PC, connect wifi router, etc. He not only met but surpassed my expectations. Jerry set up and configured the new laptop that not only am I able to use as a portable stand alone but also, at home, I can still use my Logitech keyboard and mouse plus my 24" monitor. Being 67 all I really want is computer that works properly without having to go through all the aggravation and frustration that comes with setting it up. Jerry gave me exactly what I was looking for. Additionally, I know if I have any questions he'll be there to help. Jerry has the patience and understanding to work with individuals such as myself where no question is considered or viewed as dumb, naïve, unenlightened or stupid.

I emailed Jerry and within 48 hours of the initial contact, my computer is fixed. While he was here he also checked to make sure everything else was up to date and working properly. This is the third time we have used Jerry. He is friendly, efficient and just knows his stuff. I would not hesitate to recommend him. He is a pleasure to be around.

Once Jerry was able to determine my sister's computer related work requirements, he helped her choose a laptop. He then walked her through the purchasing process and made sure she had all of the accessories that she needed and none of the ones that she did not need. Jerry then followed up and was able to connect with her remotely and set up the laptop. She was thoroughly pleased by her experience and will consult with him on an ongoing basis as needed.

I was struggling with an old laptop, it was running slow, freezing up, and generally causing me a great deal of frustration. I looked up TechBachelors, read their reviews, and decided to give them a call to see what options I had for a laptop replacement. I called, and the owner Jerry Jones answered immediately. I let him know the issues that I was experiencing and asked him what he thought we could do to resolve or replace my laptop. He suggested an appointment to assess my current laptop. Jerry arrived on time and got right to work. We soon discovered that there was an issue with the motherboard and that a replacement was not a cost effective option. He assisted me in choosing a replacement laptop that fit my needs perfectly. He purchased the laptop, configured it, returned to my home, and worked with me to transfer all of my programs, data, and settings. I had several questions after using my laptop for a few days. I called Jerry and he was just as responsive and helpful after the install was complete as he was when I first contacted him. Overall, it was a great experience! I highly recommend Jerry for any computer or technology needs.

For an unknown reason I was unable to go online. I called Jerry who promptly and efficiently fixed the problem. He's the best!

Jerry went to work immediately to clean up the computer, remove extraneous programs and add some programs to help clean my computer and keep it free of malware and other problems.

The computer issues arose unexpectedly in the Time Warner transfer from DSL to cable. Jerry responded quickly to our phone call and arranged to come to our house later in the day to sort out our problems. He was efficient, knowledgeable and very very helpful as always. We greatly appreciated his responsiveness and willingness to make sure that when he left everything was ok.

Jerry comes by appointment, on time, and gets right to work. He has a knack for knowing what needs attention without a lot of hunting around. My computer had accumulated vast numbers of files that just sat there in the way which he deleted. Then he removed unnecessary add-ins to programs such as Internet Explorer. My access to the internet is now much quicker and another program, Outlook, now loads is less than a quarter of the time.

He also tuned up our laptop and provided me with great tips on how to prevent the laptop from running slow. I would definitely use him again for our future needs.

Diagnosed bad mnemory chips and recommended a provider for new chipssets; diagnosed the systemas a whole. Consulted on installing a Windows upgrade.
