When I initially called, Jerry forthrightly told me it would be a week before he could fit me in; given his high AL rating, I elected to wait for him, rather than have the work done more quickly elsewhere. He arrived (after telephoning to ascertain my availability) somewhat earlier than promised, worked efficiently and was very helpful in recommending sources for peripherals and upgrades. He was pleasant, professional, and very helpful. I don't plan on ever using anyone else for any future computer problems.

Contacted Jerry on Friday informing him that my computer erased most of my info and operating capability. We set up an appointment for Monday. Jerry arrived and restored my computer in full working order. Checked the system to ensure there were no viruses to cause further problems. I have used Jerry several times for personal training on computer skills and specific interests. He always performs everything I need and goes beyond what I expected. He is a vital contact for me to perform vital services.

Jerry was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. This is the second time I have asked him to work on my computer and he always does a great job. He not only improved the overall function of my 7 year old computer but gave me some great advice on extending the life of my present machine and recommended a good choice for a new computer based on my needs. Jerry knows his business and his product. He is the only person I would choose to work on all my technology needs.

Jerry set up a hookup for the TV monitor, as we had asked (and did it well), but he also explained how we could get by without a new laptop, by introducing us to a free on-line service that could provide the benefits we wanted -- and more -- at no charge. He also showed us an on-line, free service that allows us to down load music.

I called Jerry for help with setting up my surround sound. Previously I have done this myself, but it creates so much stress and frustration for me that I figured I would get a quote and go from there. I think calling Jerry for help was the single smartest thing I have done this year! He was so much better than I expected! He not only set up the system in a jiffy but he also told me about Roku and the Logitec universal remote. Jerry came back to set up the Roku and boy has it made me and my husband happy!!!!!! Not only can we listen to internet radio through our sound system we can also stream Netflix films without the hassle of setting up your laptop each time. Also, Jerry improved the speed on my laptop by a 100%!! Thank you Jerry! I would HIGHLY recommend calling Jerry with any help you need on computer/sound system issues. I had previously got a quote from another company (also very well rated on Angie's) - and that guy's quote was only about 4 times what Jerry charged me! And not to forget, Jerry is professional, punctual, responsive and very very smart. Thanks Angie's list for helping me find Tech Bachelors and thanks again Jerry! You brought streaming music to my living room and kitchen!

Jerry returned my phone call within 30 minutes, and was at my home within 24 hours to see what the problem was. And all of this on a weekend! He had my crashed computer cleaned up, and running beautifully by the next day, and dropped it off at my home, staying to make sure all the programs I use loaded up, and that I could find all of my data. I couldn't be more impressed with the service he offers! He's a wonder, and a delight to work with.

Very satisfactory experience in working with Jerry/TechBachelors. He was very responsive, considerate and performed at what I consider a very reasonable cost. He provided me with an update and contacted me when the PC was ready for installation. He made sure that all of the pieces and parts were operating properly before leaving. Jerry arrived as scheduled and went right to work. He removed unused programs and added more memory. One of my programs was somehow corrupted...the primary cause of my computers slowness. He corrected the problem. He taught me several ways of using my computer more efficiently. I'm so slad I called him. To me his knowledge is awesome. He's also a very likable fellow.

Jerry arrived on time and propmtly set the new TV up for us. He connected a HD cable box and a HD DVD player via HDMI cable to the new LCD TV. He even went the extra mile and set up the cable box remote to control our other components (DVD and LCD TV). This is the second time we have used Jerry. Call him! He will resolve all of your technology issues!

Jerry's services were exactly what I needed---he was very understanding of my needs and was very flexible and precise in the manner which he performed what I required. We had mutually agreed that two visits would be the best approach. That gave me time to work through what we started and make sure all my needs were covered. That was the perfect method and it cleared up many minor little things which I had not anticipated. I am very pleased with his services and I feel very confident with the results. He tailored his efforts to my needs within a time frame that I was comfortable with. In short-he put my computers in a safe and well functioning manner--trained me with things I wanted and needed--and, as stated previously, he cleared up several little-minor items that makes a big difference in the general functioning of my computers and my performance. I will continue to use Jerry's services as I require.

Jerry arrived on time, assessed the situation, made the changes to our wireless hardware, and we were up and running in no time. He also made sure our wireless printer was able to function correctly. I can't recommend him highly enough. We were pleased that the price to complete the job was as quoted on the phone. Do yourself favor and hire him! Once again Angie's List comes through.

Jerry arrived promptly and after he examined the computer, he and I discussed several options all of them in the neighborhood of $300. I decided to let him go ahead and replace the hard drive. Since I had the discs for the operating system, he installed those and found a driver for the printer online and downloaded that. He also had to download several service packs for Windows and also downloaded Internet Explorer 8 as well was two programs for virus detection. All of this took a very long time. His price per hour was $75 and the hard drive was about $65. I did not have the discs for Microsoft Office Suite so although he saved all my old documents, they are worthless without the software to open them. I thought he could have done a little more to try to save me some money. I am not an expert in computer repair and should have thought to ask him whether he could run a virus remover on my original hard drive. If that had been done, I could have used it for the Microsoft Suite and my old documents could have been accessed. I am having a friend look into this for me now.

From our original phone conversation we considered that this may be the first of more than one visit I provided Jerry with a list of my concerns and needs. I had questions regarding my Gmail account and navigating through it--my new digital camera and setting up my photo files and how to best perform this--reveiwed how I set up and maintain my documents files---re-installed malware programs and insured they were functioning----this first visit was to re-educate me on proper methods of doing things and expanding my ability to other features that would better my means of functioning in the manner I wish to acheive. A follow-up visit was scheduled and I have things which I need to do prior to this next session. I feel am finally moving in the right direction to accomplish my desired results and have the assistance to do so.

Based on Angie's List recommendations I called Jerry at TechBachelors to replace my hard drive and install more memory on my computer. I asked him if I could buy the parts before he arrived and he told me exactly what to buy at Microcenter. I ended up buying two hard drives (I wanted LOTS of room) and he installed both as well as put in the new memory. He copied everything from my old hard drive to my new hard drive and avoided having to reinstall my operating system and programs (at my request). While all the files were copying, he answered loads of questions about setting up a networked hard drive, home theater setup and other miscellaneous questions. Jerry is very knowledgeable, organized, patient, and doesn't waste any time.

From the phone call to schedule an appointment through the repair itself, this was a very pleasant experience. It was a very refreshing to encounter such prompt, professional, and efficient service in today's marketplace. Reminded me of how past generations used to provide services. I'm recommending this outfit to anybody I know who has computer issues.

Found Jerry on Angie's list. It was a positive experience from start to finish. Very professional, prompt and patient with Seniors! My computer was frozen and he was able to remove the problem, installed software, set-up my laptop, updated both and instructed me on using wireless. He was very comfortable to have in my home and I will call him again should the need arise. I thought his price was very reasonable and I would recommend him.

Jerry is highly knowledgeable and skilled when it comes to computers. He's easy to talk to and very efficient. I couldn't be more pleased with the work he performed.

I left a phone message explaining our problem, and Jerry returned my call within the hour. I explained what had happened with the laptop. He confirmed our suspicion that the fan had malfunctioned, which caused the computer to overheat, damaging the motherboard and operating system. Jerry advised that repairing the computer would be fruitless - new parts would cost more than the price of a new laptop. He also said that in his experience, the brand of computer we had was unreliable. He suggested some other brands that he thought would be better options. Jerry said that if we'd like, he could pick up our defunct laptop and remove our data from the hard drive. As it turned out, one of our sons was able to do this, so I called Jerry back to tell him that our son was going to take a stab at the data retrieval. Jerry was very accommodating; he said if our son had problems with it, we should just call Jerry back and he would do the work. I was very impressed by Jerry's courtesy, competence, and professionalism. If we ever have a problem that our tech-savvy son can't handle, I will certainly call TechBachelors!

Excellent. The technology in the house is very complicated and performance/configuration had deteriorated as multiple people had attempted to make changes over time. It had gotten to a point where navigating each machine was different, different applications resided on each machine, there was unused/under utilized technology, and Internet speed was abysmal. It a fit of frustration I searched Angie's list and called Jerry. He was incredibly responsive - and calm - and made it a top priority to come by the house later the same day. He evaluated the situation, identified priorities, and quickly improved Internet speed (someone had previously crossed DSL / Cable so that they were competing) and he optimized each machine. We then put a schedule in place to improve the performance of the server, upgrade each machine, and to tackle other priorities - like accessing the iTunes music library anywhere in the house from one central location. Jerry got it all worked out over a period of a couple of weeks. He was proactive about thinking ahead, providing different options, and very flexible with respect to schedule. My blood pressure has dropped significantly and life is grand since Jerry started maintaining the technology in the house - he's a tremendous resource.

I have used him before. If you have a problem he will get back with you right away. He is a great teacher and can explain things well. He is very intelligent. He can take care of any problems I have with products he has ordered for me. He is also very punctual. I think he is quality of work is excellent.

Jerry was great! My computer was ready the day after I dropped it off. He took the time to make sure I understood what he did and what I need to do or not do in the future to protect my computer. And did it in terms that those of us who are not tech gifted could understand.

I like them very much. The guy is very good. I used him the first time when my daughter was in Seattle. This was 2 summers ago. I called him out of the blue because my daughter was having a meltdown. He called her and talked her through her problem in Seattle. Then I used him here to do some work for me. I use him when I have problems with the computer or with the setting up of my internal stuff. I don't remember how much I spent, but it was not outrageous. He is very responsive, very no-nonsense, and very reasonable. If I have a problem, that's who I am going to call. I have no complaints with the quality of work. He is very professional and he is a very nice guy. He does a great job. I think he is very reasonable, very personable, and he is on time. I have no issues. I am getting ready to use him again.
