I found him on Angie's List. He did an excellent job. When I move again, he will come to set it up again. I had a computer, but it wasn't fast. It wasn't doing much of anything. He went through the entire thing deleting and installing programs. He is going to bring over a printer. He really took that thing apart. He got rid of a lot of stuff I don't need. I think everybody's price is too high. He knew exactly what he was doing.

GREAT! Mr. Jones is a whiz at "de-mystifying" technology. I needed help learning how to use Microsoft Excell. He helped me understand how to use the program and set up worksheets that I needed.

We used Jerry Jones' service for the first time in January 2011 for completely overhauling our home computer. We also bought a new laptop and printer/scanner/fax through him. We never had any doubt who to contact when we were having problems with our TiVo connectivity to the Internet. I texted Jerry on Thursday night late. He called me back Friday morning and gave me some suggestions to check. After I tried myself Friday night and found I didn't have the necessary skills, I texted Jerry and he was really accommodating to work out a mutually acceptable time. Jerry, has he had when we when worked with him in January, arrived precisely on time. He listened patiently to my explanation/review of what we experienced and had tried, and got quickly to work. He always provides explanations of what he thinks is going on, recommends trying, and why things do or don't work; this is very comforting to non-IT people like us. Jerry did need to try two or three things but he was very optimistic and soon had us on our TiVo unit back communicating with the Internet. Considering Jerry made a house call within just a couple of days of my first call, and on a Saturday, I think his service fee was more than fair. Plus he just provides that sense he knows what he is doing, isn't trying to blow you away with lingo and is easy to talk with.

This was an emergency. I am completely reliant on my computer for work. My computer which was a new one crashed and I was in an absolute panic. He was great. He answered my call on a Sunday. He was not able to come that day, he could only come the next day in the afternoon. He walked me through a few things and he called me back the next day. He came in the morning because he had a cancellation. He very quickly diagnosed what was wrong and fixed it. He then attended to some other things on another computer so I could have some backup. He is a consummate professional and absolutely knows what he is doing. He is very pleasant to have around and very intelligent and perfectly professional. It's not cheap.

Jerry installed and configured both machines in a single evening and they both function perfectly. After the installation, I purchased new software and he returned to install and configure it sooner than expected. He is available by phone if we have any questions or problems anytime. I would recommend him to anyone in need of computer service.

It seemed that with in a weeks time everybody changed or revised their programming that rendered my ability to utilized these feature items in-operable for me. I had called Jerry and mentioned my problem and he told me it was not my equipment but the providers changes, since he had a few calls from clients with similar problems. We made an appointment for Tuesday 2/15 at 10AM----He made the required changes (down loads and up loads) to fix my i-Tunes account---did similar changes to the Wii-Netflix set up on my TV--check other up-dates that I asked to review and then just made sure everything was functioning as it should and as I wanted it to. Jerry's services have always been a valueable assistance to me since I am not as well versed in this field as I should be. I can't thank him enough for helping me through these things and for doing so in a very convenient and timely manner. I am also most thankful to Angie's List for allowing me find Jerry who has helped me several times with my needs.

I called Jerry on a Tuesday afternoon; he agreed to make a house call at 6 pm the next day. He arrived promptly, despite heavy snow fall and icy road conditions. He performed a few diagnostics and determined that he would have to take my computer with him to use tools he could not bring. He promised to return with the computer fixed in 2 days. He explained his charge and this did not change. He returned, as promised, and on time, with the computer. He re-installed the cables and explained that he had added several free ware programs to protect my computer from malware and keep it functioning smoothly (yet another bonus). He then tackled the wireless router problem I had - determined the source of the problem and had it fixed in a few minutes. The computer speed had slowed considerably since having purchased it; after the service it runs as fast as the day I bought it (bonus #3). Jerry patiently explained each step he was taking and how to use the new software he had installed; I greatly appreciated this because I don't want to be in this position again; I felt I learned something from the experience. As he was leaving, he told me I should not hesitate to call if I had further questions or encountered problems (he had already provided his card with contact information at the first visit)- this sort of offer reflects a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. I am relieved that the problem I had could be solved by a person who really seemed to know what he was doing, and who worked hard to exceed my expectations. Because of all the other issues Jerry addressed, I feel that I got more than my money's worth. Update: Jerry arrived a little early (gave a call first to make sure this was ok); fixed the problem within 20 minutes and the connection was fixed. He provided a very clear explanation for what he was doing as he did it - the issue was with the old DSL settings on the router. As before, I felt I had learned something. I am very grateful for the fast work and reliable fix - no problems at all a month after the visit.

Everything turned out very well. He arrived exactly on time, was knowledgeable about the problem, was thorough, and courteous. His prices were also very reasonable.

Jerry and I spoke and he explained that he had worked on Lenovo's but not on their tablet model. He then gave me a ball park estimate of cost and time. He arrived two days later right on time and did the job. We sat together and he again cautioned me that he had not done a tablet model like this, but was willing to try. The installation went smoothly and he dealt with the "unknowns" (drivers not recognized by Windows 7) very smoothly and customized the set up as I requested. Along the way he answered my questions and we tested all the features to my satisfaction. Jerry completed the job a bit quicker than he had estimated and his bill was less than the estimate. He also invited me to call with any problems or issues. I would recommend Jerry to anyone with need for computer issues. Compared to some shops, his honest fairly-priced approach was a "breath of fresh air".

He knows what he is doing. He is efficient, and he gets the job done the first time. I have used him a couple of times. He is of much more help than the tech support I have in my office. They could not figure out what was wrong with my laptop, and he was able to find the problem. The pricing is not cheap but I know the problem is solved in one shot. I definitely get more value for the money I pay him.

We were VERY pleased with Jerry's service. I had been meaning to contact Jerry many months ago but just didn't get around to it. The TechBachelors advertisement on Angie's List listed everything we were looking for, appearde much more professional than advertisements for other services we had see, and offered a discount on the first service call. Then when I finally decided to get the work done, I thought there would be maybe a one week wait until someone would come. To my pleasant surprise, Jerry offered a couple of dates within a few days, and he was willing to start at 4:30 - 5:00 - late enough for me to get home and early enough that he could get a decent amount of work done. Jerry arrived right on time on three occasions (we needed a couple of extra visits because we had ordered equipment). He is very personable and pleasant to talk with, patient with questions and more than willing to explain. He also asked questions to make sure he understood what we wanted and reviewed what he had accomplished and where he was in the process several times as he was working. We had some challenging moments from not understanding all of how iTunes saves files and how we lost some purchased music; Jerry was patient explaining and showing what we could do. He also took on the challenge of connecting our TiVo DVR wirelessly to our computer wireless router. He worked through a TiVo piece of equipment to try to get it to work; trying things we definitely didn't have the expertise to even know about let alone be willing to try. Ultimately he offered an alternatively solution at the same price and it has worked flawlessly. Finally, he responded same day to about three emails within the three days after his last visit for follow up questions we had about retreiving backed up files. We always felt he was capable and forthright; he was courteous, explained why he was recommending something and backed it up with everything working that he recommended.

After using the results of Jerry's work, which was outstanding,the whole process was truly amazing.A great experience from start to finish! He is terrific.

Ran sme systems to see if there were any viruses. ran some programs. explain some programs to me and helped me how to use my computer. For someone who is computer illiterate he took his time showing me what to do..

Provider called to update on progress. Prompt and courteous, very professional.

They came out the same day I called. Jerry, the owner who came out, was extremely competent. He was very pleasant, yet very professional and was able to fix my computer problem with astonishing confidence.

My computer died (blue screen of death) and I left a message for Jerry that I desperately needed help. He returned my call very soon, and came to look at the computer the same day. He took my computer with him, and was able to verify that the problem was a virus, not a hardware problem. He recovered all my data and then began the arduous task of rebuilding my computer. We encountered multiple problems including: I bought the wrong version of the Windows 7 upgrade (professional, not ultimate). After he valiantly tried to make it work, I bought the Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade, at which point THAT part of my problem was resolved! THEN I was unable to locate my Office CD's, all I could find was an old product key for Office. Jerry tried to download the files but they were no longer available, but he was able to use my product key with his Office CD's and he made it work! All in all, I don't know how many hours he spent, but it was certainly MANY more than anticipated, and he still charged me his original quote. Jerry is extremely professional, knows his stuff, and very timely in his response to your problem. I highly recommend using him, he will do whatever it takes to solve your problem!

Great. This is not the first time either. Jerry helped get rid of a trojan in my system over the New Year holidays ( 2020) when I was in Corpus Cristi, Texas in the same fashion.

Very helpful to have reliable tech support as a solo business entity.

Jerry was able to make an appointment within 24 hours of my call. He was on time, efficient, professional. He took care of things I didn't even know to ask and updated me (i.e. I can get netflix downloads...who knew? Able to hook up my computer to the television and explained what to buy to do this). Very patient with a technology-challenged client. This is the second time i've used this service. $ well spent!

Jerry, who has been our company and personal IT and tech support guy for the past two years, responded immediately. He dis-infected my office computer, and while that was happening he did a service checkup on our office's Server, which has a list of all of our clients and billing info. As always, Jerry works quickly, efficiently, and respectfully. He does not allow us to waste money on unnescessary work or gadgets. Since we began working with Jerry a number of our friends and business associates have begun using him, and have uniformly been thrilled with the quality and cost-effectiveness of his work, and are now regular clients. He works well on anything from the most basic to the most complex high level office problems.

Jerry has helped me with several computer issues in the past. When it was time to replace my desk top I naturally called him. He is very professional, extremely patient, and very pleasant to deal with. His services are priced quite reasonably. He always returns calls promptly and is always on time. He is also very tolerant of pets.

Because Jerry had helped me so much just this past July, I called him again for help. He immediately put me on his schedule, arrived absolutely on time, and in 10 minutes had my problem solved. In my book, Jerry is a real keeper.

My computer would not work, and my previous technician was in the state from which we had just moved. Using info from Angie's list, I contacted Jerry. He came out the next day. He diagnosed the problem, removed any bugs that were in the computer and set my whole system up, including monitor, printer, external hard drive and hard drive. Very efficient and technicially proficient.
