The drive has given my older laptop fantastic speed making it like a brand new computer for a fraction of the cost. Jerry cloned the drive from the old drive which took about 2 hours. He tested it and confirmed all was good. I have used Jerry for a number of years and he has always provided great service in a very timely fashion. In the past he has set up new computers as I purchased them by transfering the old files and made sure all was good. He set up a NAS system a number of years ago which has been operating with no problems. He even monitors the daily backup and I get a message that the backup is complete. Two years ago when we moved, I asked Jerry to set up my system in the new home which is working perfectly. I cannot speak highly enough about Jerry's work and have recommend him to a number of friends who also have been very satisfied with his work.

Jerry scheduled an appointment for 1:00 p.m. on 6/15/2015. He received a postponement and called me to see if he could come earlier than scheduled. I agreed to the earlier time and he was here right on time. He worked on my computer for over and hour and really cleaned it up. When he was done he went over everything that he did. He also explained a cleaning program that he installed and how to use it. I was very satisfied with his professionalism and completeness of his work. I would recommend Jerry to anybody and will definitely call him again when needed.

Responded back within 5 minutes of me messaging him on Angie's list, Set the appointment for 1 day later, was 15 minutes early, completed the work in 30 minutes. We needed a new router and he had one in his car, charged us what the sticker said he paid for it. Was personable, responsible, and very smart. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing the service. We need more people like this!

Jerry was prompt and professional. This is the second time we have used his services, and will continue to do so!

I contacted Jerry via email and he replied within the hour promising a call later that afternoon to discuss the issue. He called as promised and we set up an appointment at my house a for a couple days later. He arrived on time, took a look at the computer and came up with a repair plan to be completed onsite. It didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped, which resulted in him needing to take the machine to his home, but he returned with it fixed within a couple of hours. I was back up and running by early that evening.

I contacted Jerry Jones of Tech Bachelor's hoping for a realistic assessment of my daughter's laptop. At the time I had received two other opinions with two different solutions. I contacted Jerry based on the Angie's list reviews and ratings he had received in the past and hoped for the best. I hadn't used Angie's list recently but remembered it was helpful in the past. My daughter was at the time not interested in replacing her laptop. Jerry's customer service and patience is outstanding. He spent time assessing her laptop, discussing with me diagnostics performed, and the outcomes they provided. He was patient answering multiple questions my daughter had and was prompt in response and courteous. The outcome of needing a new laptop was addressed and direction was provided without trying to sell me anything. He provided set up and configured the new computer.

Scheduled within a few days of my request. Arrrived promptly. Very responsible to my list of needs and issues with the computer and competent in actions. Polite and respective and fair fees. Definitely expect to call Jerry again when I have computer needs.

I have used Jerry Jones of TechBachelors a number of times. He did a great job of setting up my desktop computer system a few years ago and some other things more recently. So, 2 days ago I texted him and reported the strange message I was getting from my computer. He immediately recognized that I had a virus. He came over to my house the next day (yesterday evening) and found the virus that my virus protection software did not block or see, and cleaned it out so my computer is back to working fine! It is great to have a knowledgeable, responsive "computer guy" on call to come over within a day or so when this kind of stuff happens. I do a lot with my computer and although I can word process, do spreadsheets, search the internet, etc., I cannot do what a sophisticated technician can do. And, I cannot stand to be down very long, so his prompt response was greatly appreciated.

Jerry was on time and he worked efficiently. He solved the problems we needed and improved our computer in ways that we had not required. He was friendly and communicated effectively about his process. We shall definitely go to him again.

My ancient computer had long needed replacing, but I hang onto things and I was comfortable with it. Jerry has assisted me before, to keep the machine running-- but now it was just too senile even for me. I trusted Jerry to help me make the right choice for my style of computer use, and I had complete confidence in his ability to make the process as successful and painless as possible. Jerry not only has top-notch IT skills, he also has remarkable people skills (for an IT guy). He listens to you, he answers your questions (however simple), he doesn't talk down to you, he respects your level of computer use and doesn't suggest more than you need, and he's always available for follow-up if you have a question or a problem. He promptly responds to emails and phone messages. My case might have especially tried his patience, as we had to deal with a quirky internet provider. But he endured this process with his usual dry humor. Everything eventually worked out fine, except that a week later I found that I couldn't open a few old spreadsheet files. One email to Jerry resulted in a phone consult whereby (with my prior approval to enable access) he used remote control of my PC to solve the problem. The charge for this follow-up: $0.00. He knows his stuff, he's dependable, and his prices are reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate for an instant to call on him again, and I'd highly recommend him to anyone.

1) Jerry responded quickly to my inquiry as to whether he could salvage my data. He picked up my computer and was successful in recovering what I had on the hard drive. He transferred it to an external disk. He met me at work for pick up and drop off- very convenient. 2) I asked him to find me a new computer telling him what I needed. He researched it and gave me several suggestions. I decided on one, he purchased and delivered it. While I could have done this myself, it saved me a lot of time to have him do it for a reasonable price. He will definitely be my "go to person" if I have computer problems I can't handle.

Jerry arrived a the scheduled time and got right to work. His knowledge of computers was FAR superior to any of the computer people that I have used in the past for the multiple computers I have in my home office. He explained everything he was doing while he was working. I was very impressed that Jerry not only fixed the systems, but gave me enough information to keep my system in 'good health' on a weekly basis. I would hire again and use his services in the future.

Showed up on schedule and wasted no time in accomplishing scope of project. Experience and training evident in efficient problem resolution. Received full value for billed time. Answered questions clearly. Very professional yet friendly. An excellent tech resource.

I couldn't use my computer. I somehow got a virus and wasn't able to do anything with the computer. He had to dig deep to find the problem and fixed it right up!

Jerry Jones is highly professional. I had called him and set up an appointment. He was prompt and immediately got to work. I had a list of several problems I was having and he fixed all of them (see above). Also he did some other tweeks which made both of my computers work faster and got the laptop working around the house using the extender and able to print wirelessly on the printer in my study. I couldn't have asked for better service. He is efficient and highly knowledgeable. Two years ago he set up my desktop for me and it has worked great (until I messed it up by trying to upgrade some drivers) and until I got a new laptop and my network extender started acting up. I recommend him highly!. It is worth a few bucks to have someone this good just come over and not only fix the problem you call him for, but optimize the function of computers in your house!

There were two computers they worked with. There were no issues with scheduling and I didn’t have any issues with them.

I found Jerry here on Angie's List, and promptly called him due to all the positive reviews. He came by punctually the very next day and immediately took command of the situation. He knew exactly what to do! After about an hour, my PC and Chrome browser ran like new, and the nasty 'V9' virus/malware was gone! As an added bonus, he also installed some great anti-malware 'freeware' on my desktop, so I can conduct periodic scans of my system by myself. Jerry was very easy to talk to, and a pleasure to do business with. I will certainly keep him on 'speed dial' should I ever need his services in the future!

The work went perfectly. Everything on the system ran smoother and faster after his work was completed.

He was great. He took care of the problem and I feel safe using the computer again. I would definitely call him in the future for any other computer issues I may have.

The job he did was absolutely terrific. I had a bad disc on processor which was 9 years old & not working. I had another newer computer, printer & processor in another room which was handy but I did not use that much. I had the option of purchasing a new processor for the bad one & keeping my newer one where it was. Instead of purchasing anything else, I decided to have Jerry transfer newer processor with 64 bit along with my newer printer, which allowed my computer to run faster than old old one which was 32 bit to the room I wanted in. He combined all data from both computers saved & transferred everything I needed from one computer to the other, set profile up so that data from old computer & new one were both named & accessible with one click He also set everything up in the room I wanted it in. He explained as he was working exactly what he was doing for ease of use without a battery of passwords, etc. For me the whole process was more than I expected. I thank Angie's list for me being able to find this computer expert. No doubt when I need computer help Jerry Jones is who I will call.

Jerry identified the the problem with the computer was that it needed a new battery for the bios. He was very thorough and tested and retested everything to make sure everything was working. I was very happy with this and previous times with his work and would highly recommend him to anyone. He spent almost 1 1/2 hours here. He cleaned out unnecessary programs to speed up the computer.

Set up and installed a new networked computer and peripherals; performed a "tune-up" on our entire business network, including the back-up and power failure systems; downloaded and installed the latest software and patches for all network components; generally made sure everything was running optimally and doing what it was supposed to do; upgraded our security software and ?cleaned up? and optimized the other computers in our network TechBachelors does what they say they will do; they show up when they say they will show up, and answer all questions with calm patience (even stupid questions).
