Jerry Jones has assisted us on several occassions over the past two years. Those services were for computers: recovery after a desktop crash, purchase of new HP laptop, purchase of new HP printer, and guidance with replacement of a printer. Considering Jerry is almost on the other side of Cleveland from us, he has always been VERY responsive - whether we call and leave a message, email or text, his response is typically within hours of the same day. Even if it is just to make contact and understand the need, this is very comforting to us. We had purchased a new smart TV, something new to us. With today's technology and the multiple pieces of audio/visual equipment we have, we didn't want to attempt set up ourselves. We didn't hesitate to contact Jerry. It was a good thing we did because I know we never would have figured out the connections. Jerry called us right back and we made an evening appointment a few days out during the week. Jerry, as always, was on time. He set up the TV, all connections and the Internet and intra-equipment programming with no waste of time. He figured out some things we never would have known where to start. He explained what he was going to do and why he was going to do it step by step. Jerry always answers questions directly and with confidence; he offers suggestions for optional enhancements at the owner's discretion. There was a digital optical cable that we needed to complete part of the audio set up that Jerry didn't have. I purchased it several days later and couldn't get the audio work; I called Jerry and he talked me through the solution.

As I stated above--it was a pleasant and helpful experience. He explained as he went along ---patient with our questions and did a great job. I have already mentioned him to my sister.

Jerry did a great job diagnosing the issue. He made some adjustments in our router and then set up and tweaked an extender for the wifi. Works great now. In addition, he took a stab at fixing a related TiVo issue. He couldn't fix it without other equipment but told us what we needed (bought it, installed it and it worked like he said it would). Because he couldn't fix the issue, he didn't charge us for that time he spent working on it. Would definitely recommend.

This "Big Deal" was worth every dollar.

He arrived when he said he would and got right to work. There were several problems with the computer that required Jerry's expertise to take care of them. He managed to take care of all of them within a reasonable amount of time and I was very happy with the results.

I had a laptop where the power connector was broke. We bought our own daughterboard and asked if he can install it. We got it ahead of schedule and he said the installation was easy. What was so good about it? Professionalism! He checked with me (the customer) to verify the power cord does work and it did register instead of "Here ya go. Bye". All the items I gave him were given back in neat condition. No scratches on the laptop. It was good to give someone your PC and get it back fixed without any hassle, debates, sudden scratches. Got in. Got out. Nice.

I called TechBachelors when we thought my son might have a virus on his computer. We were nervous about what the possible consequences might be, going so far as to contact our bank and unplug the internet wire to the computer. Showing an appreciation for our situation, Jerry went out of his way and was able to squeeze us in a day earlier than he initially thought would be possible. When Jerry arrived, he got right to business and quietly began using his security software tools to go above and beyond what out Norton Antivirus software is capable of doing. He was knowledgeable and was able to determine that there were no malignant effects of what had taken place on my son's PC. This gave us back our peace of mind. In addition, Jerry installed a couple of pieces of software on the PC to help us to identify and address future issues. We were very appreciative of this. The cost of TechBachelor's work was quite reasonable, particularly when using the coupon available via Angie's List. I have hired companies to work on PCs in the past, and they oftentimesy were dissappointing in terms of either expertise or cost, or both. I would feel confident hiring TechBachelors again, and recommending them to my family or friends.

Lockups! Crashes! Routine occurrences for me in the past. I would have other computer techs "fix" the problem only to have problems come back in the future. Thinking that my problems were caused by a virus, I installed some of the most highly rated anti-virus software money could buy. Still my computer ran slow and would still lockup! I finally decided to go to Angie's List and find the highest rated computer tech. That's Jerry. He explained that my computer was free of any virus, spyware, malware, etc. Instead,my problems were being caused by a number of the programs I had on my computer including the expensive anti-virus software I had installed!! He cleaned out all my anti-virus software and other problem programs and installed a free anti-virus software that he felt was the best around (AVG). Seeing that it's January and I'm a tax accountant, it's extremely important that my computer not give me any problems. Jerry felt that I could get through tax season without any problems. He did however advise that after tax season I should start thinking about replacing my current laptop (Dell Inspiron 1520/ 5 years old). The tax and accounting programs I have installed are making demands that my computer is finding harder and harder to meet. When I get that new laptop, believe me, Jerry will be the guy to transfer all my stuff from one to the other.

This is the second time Jerry has tuned up my computer and as before, he did a great job. I'm very technically challenged and he is always very willing and patient in answering any quesstions I have. My computer is once again in a much better mood and running much faster.

After I bought my Big Deals. I called Jerry to set up an appointment and left a message. I also asked him to also help me set up the wireless router extender because we have poor wireless signals in various parts of the house, which was in addition to my Big Deals. Jerry called me back later that day. He had appointments available sooner than I expected and we set up an appointment. Jerry was on time and set up both of my laptops at the same time and began running the diagnostics. That gave him time to help me with the wireless signal. He had a great device to track the strength of the signal in every room of the house. He looked at the extender that I had and recommended a different one that was stronger. We set up the new extender and then retested the signal walking through every room in the house including the basement. He helped me to find a good location for it and it has been terrific. Everyone is happy that they have wireless in their rooms and in the basement. Jerry also recommended a system for all of our files and data with a backup and showed me how it would work. As of now we have not implemented that system. The computers were cleaned up and safe for running and hopefully that will help them last a little longer.

Our "home theater" was a disaster. We used 4 or 5 different remote controls, and still had difficulty controlling our system. Jerry came to our home to assess our problems and recommended that we purchase a new remote control. Once we purchased it, Jerry came back and set up our whole system, so that we can keep all of our cabinet doors closed and use one simple remote control to do everything. In addition, he diagnosed the problems we were having with our Wii and VCR systems and recommended what we needed to purchase in order to fix the problems. We were thrilled with his expertise, prompt response and successful work and would recommend him to anyone who needs tech services.

These guys did a GREAT job - fair price, they were able to stay late and get all of my loose ends tied up; we just moved into a new home in metro Cleveland - so we needed it all, they were great. Prompt, on-time, as quoted, made some good recommendations, everything is working fine. Couldn't be more pleased.

An appointment was made for 10::AM. Jerry came in and got right to work checking things that needed to be checked or changed to keep the Computer running smioothly. I felt very comfortable with his taking over the computer and making changes. As he worked, I asked questiong and he was very helpful. I feel that I could call him at any time I have a problem. By the way, I had no problem with my computer, but I wanted to eliminate any potential problem in the future if possible. I would call him again. He is very professional and knowlegable.

Jerry is very busy at this time of the year and his schedule was 'over' full. However, he worked me in and I took the computer to him. He did a quick assessment and did not offer much hope of saving it. He recommended purchasing a new laptop and said he would transfer all my data as soon as he could. I left it with him so he could keep trying into the evening, to get some response. I did not even make it back home when Jerry called with the good news that he had found and fixed the problem. He called me immediately just to make sure that I didn't purchase another computer in the meantime. I returned and picked it up all within a two hour time frame. I was thrilled, to say the least, that I have a working computer and didn't have to purchase a new one at this busy time of the year!

Jerry arrived at our home at the exact time of the appointment. After some time performing diagnositics and analyizing the issues, he discovered it would take additional time for repair and asked to take the laptop with him to complete the work. He stayed in regular contact with us and returned the computer on the day he promised it would be completed. He spent all the time necessary to explain the work performed and the software he added to the laptop. Jerry was extremely professional and helpful in explaining the issues and their resolution. He was friendly, down to earth and at no time did I feel he was talking down to me, yet he explained everything to my understanding.

I called Jerry to install and set up a wireless router to replace the hardwire router that I have been using with a powerline ethernet. This was necessitated by my purchase of a Sonus music system. After making sure that the powerline system was still operational he installed the Sonus system without a hitch as he is very familiar with it. Everything was done in an hour. Following this I had to send him a couple of emails seeking more information about the system to which he promptly responded. Excellent experience.

Everything I needed, wanted, and more! Cannot think of a single area that needs improving. The perfect computer service!

He came over at exactly the appointed time, sat down with the computer, and figured out what was needed in a very short time. Repaired the computer and left.

He fixed my computer. It wasn't working before he came & it was when he left. He was very friendly & his work was a fluent & thorough also gave us on Angie's List 25% discount which was very helpful.

He kept us informed of progress and was very professional throughout process. He also provided consultation for any issues after the installation for hourly fee. Would highly recommend.
