He and son showed up on time and did an excellent job. He did not have a grate to replace one in the garage so went to hardware store and bought one. Both were friendly and knew what they were talking about. Gave me information regarding maintenance which I really appreciate,

Mr. Knight, the owner of the company, arrived on time. He inspected the storm and sanitary sewers and found heavy growth of roots blocking both. (I had had flooding in my basement from all of the rain.) Mr. Knight explained the process of snaking the drains and then did the work. My basement has been dry since. He was very knowledgeable and professional and I am planning on using his company to perform annual or semi-annual snaking again. I was very pleased with the work.

I was not in town and I received a call from my condo building's property manager that there was a leak in the basement that appeared to be coming from my condo unit. My regular contractor and his plumber could not be there for several hours, so after calling and leaving messages with several plumbers, I got a hold of Lenny right away. Not only was he responsive, but he was also extremely fast. He made it to my condo in under 30 minutes and was able to assure me that there was not an active leak. He even shot video so that I could see exactly what he observed. Lenny was fantastic in giving me peace of mind that my condo wasn't being over taken with water. When I asked him what the charge was for his services, he told me that emergency services are $200 minimum. However, since he did not feel that he did anything, I could pay him what I thought was fair. I can assure you, his promptness, professionalism and integrity are definitely worth it.

I came home from work today to find about 3 to 4 inches of water in my basement. I knew the water had to have been from yesterday because of all the rain we got. Since it was there when I got home, I watched it to see if it was moving down at all. I realized it was not moving. I called several plumbers, but I couldn't get anyone to come out today, until I reach Mr. Knight. I explained what was happening and he said he could be here in about 20 minutes. He and his son arrived promptly and went to work. He checked the front lawn first then they come inside. He explained what needed to be done and in about 45 minutes all the water was gone. He and his son were prompt, professional and courteous. He gave me a warranty for the work and I am completely happy with the job they did.

Perfect! Lenny was very professional and knew exactly where the clean out access was without even speaking to me. Line was cleaned and water was flowing within 30 minutes. Service was $500.00 less than another well known company who gave me an estimate to do the exact same thing the previous day. Don't get ripped off by the big names. Hire Lenny!!

Lenny scheduled his arrival time within a 30 minute window - and arrived on schedule. He was extremely courteous, engaging and knowledgeable. In a short time, he had identified the problem, cleared the blockage, and showed us where the issue was in the line. He also localized a connecting "Y" in the storm drain that we had suspected was present but weren't sure. Using his technology, we were able to localize the precise spot where the blockage was, as well as the depth below ground, in the event we opt to fix the cracked pipe. Lenny and his son were patient, attentive to our needs for explanations, and were also mindful to keep the spread of dirt and debris to a minimum. Compared with our experience with other companies providing similar services, this was perhaps the most efficient, high-value service provider I've experienced in our years of home ownership. Absolutely will hire his company again if any related need ever arises.

The service was excellent. They came prompt and was very polite and knowledgeable. It was not an easy problem but they solved it. I would recommend them to anybody. The owner himself came out to complete the job. After the job, there was very nice clean up.

Lenny is an expert in his field. This is the second time that I have used him to snake my sewer. He is kind, courteous, professional, and showed up at my house an hour and a half after I called him. He gave me really excellent advice as to how to avoid this situation in the future.

Although it was my husband who dealt with Lenny, I was told that he did an excellent job and was very pleasant to work with. My husband was extremely impressed with his professionalism and honesty. He was eager to please and made sure that we were satisfied with his work. He even came back the next day to fix a similar problem and again did great work. If the need arose, I would hire him again without a second thought. I have already passed is name on to other people. What a find!

I forgot to put the root killer foam in my toilets last Fall and I had water backing up onto my floor whenever the washing machine drained into floor drain. My city offers free snaking and camera inspection, so I had them come out to snake the drain (I had been here before a couple years ago). They put the camera in, showed me the roots, put their cutters in and put the camera in again. They are clearly not plumbers and therefore, everything looked the same both times. After the city left me to clean the largest mess ever, I put the foaming root killer in the toilet when I went to work and again overnight. A few days later, the laundry continued and so did the water back up. I saw Sewer Technology had great reviews and the pricing for service seemed very consistent, unlike many other plumbers on Angie's List. I called and left a message and Lenny called me back immediately. I asked if he could come out in a few days and he agreed. Once he arrived, on time, I explained the situation and since I had been down this road before, I proceeded to tell him all the things I already knew and showed him the cleanout and pretty much tried to tell him how to fix the problem. He advised he wanted to do his own investigating and I am glad he did. After simulating the washing machine draining, he discovered I no longer had an issue. We flushed toilets and ran water just to be sure, but, still, there was no water back-up. Lenny made sure everything else was in working order. After I told him how I am glad I dodged another clean-up situation, he asked if he could check for a street level clean out since I hadn’t known of any. After doing some digging around in the rain, he didn’t find one, but advised if I had another issue to just call him back and that there was no charge for the service call. I asked his opinion on another issue I was having and he gave me preventative advice for the future regarding keeping the sewer lines clean of roots. Even though no work ended up being done on the sewer lines, I still appreciated the effort as well as the extra step to look for an outdoor cleanout and I gave him a little something . We discussed his great Angie’s List reviews, a little too much for my liking, but still, the service call was great! I had already told my mom and co-workers of my great experience before the day was over. He will be my go to guy if I have any issues in the future.

This guy is a genius! He will save you lots of time and $. And the nicest guy!

Lenny was prompt and in fact even a little early so he was ready to go before the appointment was scheduled to start. I explained that another sewer inspection company pointed out some issues that needed to be addressed but the other company could not provide an estimate to fix or specifics about where the problems were located. Using his inspection camera and explaining what he was seeing during the inspection, he showed me the problems (clogs) and a meter on the camera showed me exactly where they were. Lenny proceeded to snake the drains all the way to the street and then ran water through them to make sure they were free flowing. When testing the back storm drain I could listen through the front downspout to hear the water flowing freely. During the appointment we discussed that he has over 30 years of experience in surveying, installing, inspecting, and cleaning all types of sewers. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, fair, and doesn't overcharge for his work. I think I saved at least $100 by using Sewer Technology. One of Lenny's competors charged $450 just for a camera inspection to a prospective buyer of the house and that company couldn't have inspected more than five feet of drain tile because of the clogs that were there. I've already recommended Sewer Technology to a co-worker of mine, they do an excellent job and I couldn't be happier with the result.

Professional and prompt. I was especially thankful since the job was more of an emergency. Mr. Knight was courteous and polite and offered helpful advice. The cost was very reasonable for what was done. I would use Sewer Technology services again and recommend them highly.

Did a great job of cleaning out the sewer that had backed up. Only thing I can complain about is the mess left in my bathroom and front hall. He didn't have the equipment to clean up after himself.

Lenny did a great job. I could watch on his video screen as he snacked out my lines. He also did my downspouts to ensure they were not clogged either for no extra charge. Mr. Knight arrived very promptly, was very thorough and professional, explained what he was doing and why, dug out and straightened up two drain pipes by the driveway that had gotten out of alignment. Worked steadily for >2 hours on the job. We felt he did a good job at very reasonable cost. Note: He only does outdoor plumbing, such as clearing sanitary and storm drains. His business keeps him quite busy, and we had to schedule over a week in advance, but this was not an emergency job, so that was OK.

Lenny was scheduled to arrive at a specific time. When he found himself running late due to traffic he called ahead and let me know. Lenny was professional, honest, clean, and straightforward. Another provider had advised me that I would need to pay upwards of $300 to have the drains flushed. Lenny said it was not necessary and charged the minimum service fee for his time. He was able to advise me on a solution to a problem with water infiltration in my basement stairwell after checking that it did not come from the drains. I would recommend Lenny to anyone who wants an honest opinion about what needs to be done. I would certainly call him in the future.

Lenny came out to unclog the main drain. Worked good for a few days but backed up again. He apologized for my inconvenience, immediately returned and dropped the camera down the drain to see the problem, which was a paper clog in an elbow of the drain. He cleaned that out and ran the camera all the way through to ensure it was clear - all at no charge to me. It's been working fine since. Problems occur and you can always judge a contractor by how they react when that happens. Lenny handled it superbly. He returned right away, took care of the problem and stated repeatedly if I had another problem to call anytime, even the middle of the night. I recommend him highly.

Everything went as I expected and Lenny did a thorough job.

Lenny was very responsive and did a great job. He was prompt to return calls, provided a reminder call the day before the appointment and came to appointment as scheduled. Our 1913 Cleveland Heights house was was experiencing combined storm/sanitary back-up during heavy rains. We were uncertain where the problem was. Using camera, Lenny identified several problem areas where roots were entering pipes, but confirmed that system overall was in good condition. He then snaked all lines. Lenny is a one-man-shop and doesn't have the newest equipment, but he knows what he is doing and can get the job done as well, or better, than any of the large companies at a price that is very reasonable.

LENNY IS AWESOME!!! Believe all of the great reviews here. Lenny arrived on time, pulled out his equipment and got right to work and had our issue resolved within an hour or so! He was professional but oh so friendly and completed the work with a smile on his face! You truly cannot find a more efficient, honest, and friendly company to use. Lenny was great! He was punctual, honest, courteous, and very service oriented. Lenny was very thorough checking for a blocked drain and explained things as he worked. He did not try to sell me something I did not need. He told me that my drains should be cleaned sometime in the next 12 months but that I could wait a little if I wanted to. Then after spending half an hour checking for problems, he did not charge me. Would I use him again? ABSOLUTELY! In fact, I already recommended him to someone and I had him give me an extra business card so that I could give it to my contractor to recommend him to others. Lenny is a very special man among men and a rare gem as a service tech. I would recommend Lenny and Sewer Technology fully without any reservations!

I called on short notice to see if they could check and clean our home sewer line as part of annual home maintenance. . The woman I talked to at Service Technology was extremely kind and helpful. They were able to squeeze in a morning appointment for us. The technician was also very kind and thorough, and explained the work he was doing. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again.

Len was very responsive and explained what he was doing. Identified a clog in the storm drain caused by tree roots and cleaned out the clog. The Angies list purchase saved me $100 over the standard rate. Very pleased with the work.
