Description of Work: They were very professional, worked hard, were punctual, and came back for a quality review the next day to adjust the door. We were very pleased and would definitely recommend them to others.

Description of Work: I bought the tuneup and roller replacement from Angie's List. Precision technician Jason was professional, prompt; explained and showed me issues that were developing with my old opener, coils. I understood what was happening -- and why -- so I could make an informed decision on how to proceed with some extra work. Jason did an impeccable job with installation of a new opener. Now, when my garage door operates it barely makes any sound -- which is music to my ears! Every step of the process (from setting up the appointment to finishing the work) was truly professional. I will call Precision for any garage door issues in the future. Oh, and one more important thing ... this company posts technicians' photos on its website, so you know ahead of time who is coming to your home and into your garage. This is the first service company I've experienced doing this ... and I think it is a SUPER idea. You'll be more than satisfied with Precision. I am.

Description of Work: Via a promotion, we used Precision Overhead Door to come inspector our garage and electronic opener. They advised us that their were significant issues with the garage (which we suspected since it is so old) and made recommendations. Since the promotion was for a service/maintenance call, Precision insisted that we be refunded our money, since they were not able to complete what was promised in the promotion. Based on their professionalism and knowledge, I recommend them and will use them in the the future.

Description of Work: He provided the service as advertised, but noticed that the spring which operated the door was just about broken, and at our request, replaced it. Should be good to go for another 13 years.

Description of Work: Precision Door came out and inspected the rollers and adjusted them as well as installed a new garage door opener. Old garage door opener was ancient and so it was updated. Garage door works fine now. The serviceman was polite and listened to me and was happy to install new garage door opener in spite of that not being part of the initial reason for an appointment. Would definitely call them again if warranted.

Description of Work: The repairman replaced the rollers on the garage door, cleaned and greased all areas. The door is now a lot quieter with the better rollers. The repairman suggested a few other repairs but I decided to wait on those.

Description of Work: The technician (Brad) replaced our old (12yrs. metal) garage door rollers with new rollers. He tightened all nuts and bolts, checked door alignment, and checked all safety features to make sure they were working properly. Very knowledgeable and personable.

After my explaining an additional problem I was having with my garage door, Ryan offered another optional service that would take care of every thing and included a life time warranty. The work was performed in about an hour, and nothing was left for me to clean up! RYAN****** an asset to the company.

Description of Work: The technician arrived on time, was very professional and even programed our car to open the garage door, teaching us how to do it ourselves, and repaired a garage door opener that was not functioning. He told us that the 12 year old garage door springs were showing weakness that could cause trouble down the road and offered to replace them, but did not pressure us in any way to do so. I would not hesitate to hire this company again or to recommend them to friends and family.

Description of Work: Getting ready to move to a new residence and the garage door spring in the residence we're selling broke on a Friday night. Precision was able to take care of repair and replacement on the weekend. Matt showed up promptly as scheduled shortly after 8 on Saturday morning. Very cordial and professional. Was able to replace our garage door spring, plus rollers and a missing bearing (from another garage door servicer years earlier) in a little over an hour. So impressed that I'm having Matt come out to provide a quote for a our new residence to replace the garage door and install a new garage door opener.

Description of Work: Needed a new garage door and tracks. Precision came out and examined what I had and what needed to be done to put a new garage door in. My concern was that holes would have to be put into the garage ceiling. But Eric from Precision was able to use existing hardware in the ceiling which saved more repairs needing to be done. The team that installed the door was professional, courteous, and cleaned up and hauled away old door. Would recommend Precision to anyone who needed a new garage door.

Description of Work: This was an "Angie's Big Deal" to service two garage doors and replace the rollers. I was called a few minutes before the two men arrived and notified when they would arrive. Both men were very personable and professional. They explained what they were doing and that I could watch or go inside and they would contact me when they were through. I chose the latter option. One of my doors ended up needing to be overhauled for an additional $599.00. Adjustments on the other door required an additional $30.00 in parts. I was okay with both those charges. My only objection is that I was charged an addiitonal $65.00 "service call fee". In my opinion, this was over the top. They were already there to do the "Big Deal" and did not make a special trip to overhaul the door. Both doors now work and are much quieter when operating.

Description of Work: When I called to set up an appointment, they stated they would be there between 8am and 10pm. I was very pleasantly suprised to receive a call at 8:15am that they would be there in about 15min. The service man was very pleasant and explained everything in detail..

Description of Work: backed into my metal garage door. They came the next day while at work - fixed it - called me - it was simple, easy, and basically charged me for visit. Told me that my door is cheap, and "bending" it back in shape so it could work again was good enough for now...but, may need a new door some time in the future. Great, simple advice, got the job done. Would highly recommend!

Description of Work: I called to request a quote for a garage door repair - mine had been stuck in the "up" position for two days. I believe the son (Jim?) answered the phone - he said it would be $75 minimum for a service call. I thought this was a bit high - turns out I was right. I ended up going with another company and I only paid 55 for the entire repair (turns out it was just some faulty wiring). I was surprised that this company doesn't do free estimates - seems like a no-brainer in this economy.

Description of Work: Garage door would not open/close with remote. Also could not do it manually. They put new "high cycle" rollers on (2) and bought a new Genie garage door opener I thought they would not charge a service call, but on the receipt it said $39.95 service Call. They did the work needed, they came promptly. The only negative part was getting a 90 day warranty on this work. I should have asked for a 6 month warranty, to get through the winter months.
