They were punctual, and cost was reasonable.

A couple times during the 'testing' process, the door didn't want to to down. Bill fidled with the sensor and then the door would go down. Bill then left to go to his next job. A little while later (in the early afternoon), I opened the garage door and then tried to close it and the door wouldn't go down again. I called Precision back and told them the door wasn't closing. They said that Bill would come back that day. During the afternoon my brother stopped by and looked at the door, and told me the sensor needed more adjustments. My brother made the adjustment, and left. Bill showed up later and I told him that my brother had come by and adjusted the sensor again and the door seemed to be working as it should. So Bill left. It has now been a week since the door hardware was replaced and we have not experienced any problems at all. The door goes up and down very smoothly and quietly. I agreed to the total 'rebuild' because Precision offered a 'lifetime warranty/guarantee" on their parts and labor. If we ever have a problem with the hardware again, we can call Precision and they will come out and make the repairs. (I hope.)

Our garage door needed repair, which fortunately turned out to be quite minor. The total repair time took about 10 minutes and no parts were needed. The door is actually fairly new, within the last 5 years but the company that originally installed it is no longer in business. So I called Precision. The repairmen were on time, polite and professional. However, they were also trained to sell. We spent more time talking about what the company does and how in a few years I might need parts for this door and perhaps I should think about replacing them now, than it took them to repair the door. I made the mistake in not asking what their hourly rate was before I scheduled the appointment so I was surprised at the cost given that the work took about 10 minutes to complete. Moreover, had I not had an Angie's list coupon, the visit would have cost an additional $25. I would suggest that anyone who contacts this company ask about their rates in advance and be prepared for a sales pitch as well should you decide to use them.

It went great. I have used them once before. I like the quality of the door. I was impressed with the technician. He came on time and did what he said. We had a good experience.

They sent a novice to do the job. He was on time but had to call for help and wait half an hour. When they got here, they were able to figure out what the problem was. However, they quoted me a price of $1200 for the repairs, which costs more than the door and the opener combined.

They came out and performed the service and I was pleased with their service. I would call them again for any garage door service, they seemed reputable.

The entire job went well from start to finish. Brad arrived early, worked steadily, and when finished, the new door looked beautiful and worked very well (more quiet, smooth operation.)

On and intermittenant basis the garage door would not close and behaved as if were a safety problem. I checked and replaced the safety sensors, checked the balance of the door, made sure that there was a proper connection to all the electrical circuits, and all the other trouble shooting suggestions in the owners manual. The problem did not go away. Told the technician what I had done, he quickly reviewed it and noticed that one sensor was in direct sunlight. Suggested shade that sensor and call him back if the problem reoccured. No problem since. Very pleased with thier responsives and customer service.

Precision provided an email with photos of technicians, so I knew who would be coming and could indentify him easily. Service was prompt, efficient, courteous and I was given all the information needed to make an intelligent selection of the approach to take to fixing the problem with more than short-term results.

-tOur 14-year old garage door suddenly started making terrible noises and we could see that a presumably-important cable was hanging loose. We got the cars out, closed it and called Precision. Brad came out the next day, a little bit ahead of the two-hour window we were given (which was fine). We learned a lot about garage door parts, which we appreciated because we like to be educated when we are spending a significant amount of money. We had some obviously bottom-of-the-barrel parts on our door and Brad said it was actually a miracle it lasted as long as it has. We got the "package deal" which included new springs, center and end brackets, cables, drums and rollers. Brad did not do any kind of "hard sell" on the package deal, but the lifetime warranty they offer with the package just made the most sense. We feel like we got solid, quality parts and a long-term fix instead of a band-aid on our wounded garage door.

I called for an appointment. I was scheduled 2 days later. The service man was prompt, answered all of my questions and finished the job in less than one half hour. I will use this company again when I need to replace the motor.

Purchased the "Angie's Big Deal" one day later they called to schedule an appointment for the following Monday. Al the repairman with 16 years experience called a few minutes in advance of visit and then arrived earlier than scheduled time. Changed out rollers, sprayed lubricant and then Al proceeded to try and sell me $789.00 worth of parts, which I refused. Al was going to get back to me with the price to replace the just the plastic window inserts that were damaged by a hailstorm and the cost for the metal track for my "over-sized" garage door. It has been 16 calendar days and I haven't heard a word from them. This promotion seems like a way for Precision Garage Doors to get people to make expense perhaps unnecessary repairs or replace their garage doors without hiring salespeople / cold calling or giving away a fake vacation. Plus they make extra money on the deal because they take the used metal rollers that can then be recycled.

Their service was excellent and I will use them again in the future.

There's nothing really exciting about having our garage door go up and down just like it used to, but we know it's safe now. Brad replaced the parts that needed replaced, and left the parts that didn't. I feel like we got exactly what we needed to bring our door back to functioning. I would definitely recommend Precision Door. Their prices are reasonable, service was fantastic, and all done the morning after we called.

My garage door would not open fully; it has been a recurring problem when the weather turns cold. I called Precision and got an appointment for a technician to come out the next day. The technician called when he was on the way and actually arrived early. The problem was diagnosed as the door having the wrong springs. The technician recommended that he replace all the hardware as a package deal. Safety and the number of times the door has opened and closed were given as reasons for replacing everything. At first, I was told it would cost about $550.00 to replace the springs and a few other parts to fix the problem. But for $739.00 I could get all the hardware replaced and have a lifetime guarantee. I asked what the price would be "out the door" including tax and was told it was $739. I mentioned I had an Angie's list coupon and was told it would be honored for a reduced price on the service call. So, I agreed to have the total overall for $739.00. I was pretty shocked at the price, but I felt I needed to have the door repaired. The technician took about 40 minutes to replace the springs, center bearing, drums, end bearings, lift cables and 10 nylon rollers. When he was done, he handed me the invoice and the total was $764.00. He had tacked on a $25.00 energy surcharge. I objected and he removed the surcharge. He also claimed he had quoted me a price of $760. Final price I paid was $739.00. The door works beautifully and I'm pleased with the results. There were safety issues that the new part and rebalancing fixed. It looks like the tech did a nice job. My only gripe, is that I wasn't given a breakdown of parts and labor and felt pressure to replace everything with a "complete overhaul special" package.. The price seemed incredibly high for the parts that were replaced and less than one hour of labor. The next day, I called Precision to ask about the price (was this normal?) and was told it was. I think folks should beware of these package deals, replace only what needs to be replaced, and get a breakdown of the cost of parts and labor.

They offered a lifetime warranty depending on the level of service. My level of service was so expensive that I asked if they would credit it to the lifetime warranty and they said they would but I never got any confirmation of that. I haven't called them back either. They are very expensive. The quality of the work was very good. They came on time and did the work they said they would do but I would have expected more thorough follow up. I would only use them for the lifetime warranty that they claimed.

Brad Buzzelli was very good and completed job in a very timely manner. Was very experienced. No problems. I would highly recommend this company. Reasonable price. Their office had to reschedule the day and time for the job to be done because of an error they made with our appointment. Otherwise scheduling was good.

They had great service! They were very professional. I would highly recommend them.

It turned out that the power cord was loose. He made the adjustment, but then the same problem occurred again. Initially he was going to charge us again for the return trip, but then he did not charge us. I was unhappy with their service.

Called Precision early in the morning for an inspection and analysis of a garage door that would not to close/open properly. I was able to schedule an appointment for a two-hour window the same morning and the Technician called a half hour before arriving. The technician was very thorough and took time to explain the nature of the problem to me and presented very good options. I chose to go with a new unit that had a number of additional features and because I really felt good about the service experience. The work was completed much sooner than expected and everything is working great; in fact better than before. I could not be more pleased and highly recommend Precision.

I called and arranged for someone to come out to do the service. They said my garage door was dangerous and needed to be replaced and not just tuned. I had another company tell me that I just needed new parts and my garage door was fine. I tried to contact Precision Overhead Garage Door Service and left a voicemail asking if they could explain why they didn’t just suggest new parts. They never retuned my call. I don’t have any confidence in the company and they were just trying to sell me a garage door. When I gave them the opportunity for them to explain why they advised a new door instead of parts, they never got back to me.

They showed up and they did a good job. The service was good and I was happy with them.

Everything went well. The technicians were punctual and professional, and they charged a fair price.
