Precision Overhead Garage Door

I contacted Precision to come out and replace both springs. Their website states "this is why we can put Lifetime Guarantee on our springs for as long as you live in your home!" [*** Link removed ***] When the installer came out, and I asked about the guarantee, he stated that this is only available if they replace every other piece of hardware on the door (for a total cost of $1,190). Their website needs to be updated immediately to indicate this very important detail. Otherwise, it is a bait-and-switch practice. The installer talked to his boss, and they said they would offer me a lifetime guarantee on the spring for the $395 cost. I asked for that in writing, and he could not give it to me. I ended up sending the installer away without completing the work due to this. Unfortunately, I can not recommend Precision to others due to this. I think they need to clarify this on their website so that the information is not deceiving to the client. I ended up having the work done by another company for $235 (for both springs and all labor costs). No lifetime warranty, but I did not expect that for that cost.

Technician was later than originally planned, but called to say he'd be late. Arrived at rescheduled time. Work was done within an hour, works great! Technician (Zoran) was personable and knowledgeable.

1st impression with the office staff was excellent, an email followed up by a phone call to schedule. Very professional and on point! My tech was early, very personable and knowlegeable. He made sure I understood what the deal entailed and I'm happy with the service provided. He recommended a re-build and gave me some tips on what to expect if/when the door will fail. I opted to wait until the failure and the tech didn't make me feel like a low-life for going that route. :)

The service went very well. They were a little bit late, but not terribly late, but they called and let us know they were running a little behind. I was very pleased with them. They let us know a lot about our garage door and the mechanisms and things that worked on it. They replaced what they were supposed to replace and told us how to maintain it to keep it running well. I was very satisfied with their service.

He did the work that we expected. Not surprisingly, he was trying to up sell us on other stuff to do but that's why they give you the deal so that they can up sell you. We didn't get charged more. He did exactly what he was supposed to. It's hard to get anybody out to do anything for under a hundred dollars. We've had the work done with a different outfit maybe five or six years ago so we'll do it again in another 5 years probably. He came within the time frame they specified.

I wanted the service so that I could have garage door opener. Service was done to replace rollers, springs and more to a cost of 755.00 My understanding was that would take care of the important parts. I said go ahead. When he finished I was given a sheet that showed Short Term, Better, and Best...the Best being $755. When all was done, the door opener did not work because it needed (I guess the motor) Since the reason I thought of doing the work was because I wanted the Opener working. I did not have to go with the Best which did not give me what I wanted. I guess we had a misunderstanding.

Well. Technician did full inspection and replaced rollers. Was told springs needed to be replaced and given a quote. Quote to replace door springs kind of high compared to other pricing I checked out in the area. Have not replaced the springs yet.

We were completely satisfied with Precision Overhead Garage Door. A thorough check was done and we were given a full explanation of what needed to be done to improve the working of the door.

It went great. From the lady on the phone to Paul the workman everyone was very friendly and helpful. Paul was able to come early and called when he was there the work was done very quickly with no mess and he was able to offer advice on some other garage door questions I had

The apt went well. Paul was very knowledgeable about the situation and what was needed. He performed the work quickly and even came back to the house a few weeks later when we called and had questions at no charge to us.
