when the customer called me for a quote, & my method to rid of fleas with in a 4 unit [Member Information Removed], he had another co out already which had not gotten rid of the flea problem as of yet, the quote was $800.00 with a ([Member Information Removed]) month guarantee up to (4) visits I explained that to the customer & I wrote that on his receipt, since he had another co out already, I had to know what chemical/material did the previous co use, in which I was told, no since to use what they used already, so I used other chemical/material that was professional epa registered material, mean while this was the situation with this bldg. all of his chimney fire places were boarded up completely in each unit, after the 1st treatment his unit he lived in had no more problem, & his unit was not that bad from the start, now the 2nd floor unit beside him did not clear up to his satisfaction, & possibly one down unit, so I retreat the entire 4 unit [Member Information Removed] a 2nd time, now the 2nd floor unit still has a problem, you see what happen was that raccoons were living in chimneys of the fire places & they brought in the fleas. I told the customer that in that unit he would have to remove the inclosure that was over the fire place, he did not want to remove, but he drilled holes in it, so I treated the fire place through the holes which he drilled, I explained to the customer, please be patient, this was a difficult problem cause all the fire places were boarded up, NOW I had treated all 4 units twice & the up problem unit 3 times, we are probably a month into the warranty, HE NOW WANTS A REFUND, I told him I could not refund any funds, you have 30 more days within the warranty, SO I CONTACTED MY CHEMICAL CO to explain the situation, cause the material which I ad been using the last pass 7 yrs was missing the mark, the problem was those fleas had a resistant build up against that chemical/material, SO MY CHEMICAL CO SUGESTED ANOTHER BRAND, in which I used, so I treated the up unit a 4th time & the fire place through the holes the customer drilled, BINGO ALL THE FLEAS IN THAT 2ND FLOOR UNIT ARE ALL GONE, its been maybe a month & a half, INTO THE WARRANTY, I'm thinking all is good, but a week later a down unit [Member Information Removed] comes up with fleas in the living room where the fire place was, the blessed thing was it was not sealed up, so I treated the fire place through the damper which lets the air out, WITH THE NEW BRAND, I TREATED THAT UNIT [Member Information Removed] MORE TIMES, A WEEK APART & now he's out out of warranty but I still treated the unit cause I wanted the customer tobe satisfied like the other 175 angie customer's MEAN WHILE I DID ELIMINATE ALL FLEAS THROUGH-OUT THE ENTIRE 4 UNIT [Member Information Removed], it did take time, but only because of those fire places closed up, just for the record, maybe I should not have taken the job, BUT THE CUSTOMER WAS REACHING OUT FOR HELP, cause the previous co did not solve the fleas problem, & I told the customer after the 2nd visit, please be patient, & again just for the record I did not make much profit from the job because of how many trips I made, but at that point & time I was more concern about getting the results than the profit, I hope who all reads this understands, & again I did get the results of total flea elimination thank you john lewis owner
