Joe is a pleasure to work with. I called him for some work, and while on the job, added an additional request, which he was able to fit in. Joe is very responsive. He answered every time I called him. On the first call, he came out the next day. He called me as he was finishing a job and let me know I was he was on his way. He came on time, as promised. When he got there, I had additional questions and concerns, which he addressed. The quality of his work is excellent. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. I definitely recommend him.

I consulted the list of locksmiths on Angie's List and called Joe Fradette. He gave me an estimate over the phone and included a discount for Angie's List members. He stated that he would be available the next day if it was necessary. I called him back later in the day, and he agreed to come the next day as was previously discussed. Joe tried several approaches to remove the lock, but ultimately needed to grind the lock off. He called just before his arrival as agreed, and he was polite and professional. It took him approximately 15 to 20 minutes. I would certainly contact him again if needed.

Joe phoned before arriving, was prompt and courteous, and when I decided that the job was not worth the price he quoted, made valuable suggestions for improving security using alternative means. I was impressed by his attention to the details of what would have been a very small job. A nice man; I will definitely contact him in the future when I do need locksmithing services.

Joe is the man. I called him Thursday during the day - he was upfront with the cost and mentioned an Angie's List discount. We scheduled a time for the very next day. He was right on time, called me to confirm the appointment, and was efficient when making the keys. After he was done, he explained exactly how the garage door cable worked and made sure that I was able to use everything effectively. I will use Joe for any future needs related to locks.

Joe was great. He called before the appt. and arrived on time. He explained everything and even made a few key copies. While he was fixing the locks he noticed some problems with the door frames being off and made a few suggestions as to how I could go about fixing it or finding someone to fix it. He also offered to install some weather stripping. Gave a discount because I found him on AngiesList too. Very thurough, professional and helpfull.

It was excellent. He was prompt in responding to the initial call, it was easy to make an appointment, he threw in the keys for free He was professional, friendly, and overall did a great job.

Great. Someone burglarized our house in the morning, I called Joe, and he was there in the afternoon to rekey our doors and make sure all of the locks were working properly as some were improperly installed. It took several hours as some or our doors had challenging locks, but in the end he made them all work better than before and we feel more secure.

Joe arrived on time and had the job finished in less than fifteen minutes. He is very nice and personable.

On the phone he went thru various possible charges and set up an appointment at my convenience on a Saturday. When we met he quickly analyzed my needs, explained what was needed, and went to work. Joe responded to my call around noon promising to show up around 3 pm same day despite a terrific snowstorm. He was prompt, professional, skilled, courteous, and a great value. Also has an Angie's List discount! I'd recommend him to anyone.

After looking at the options on Angie's list, I emailed Joe's Lock and Key very late in the day to see if they could come the next day while I was having other things done at the house. Joe left me a voicemail the next morning and I called back and we scheduled his visit. Joe arrived when he said he would and quickly got to work on the problem. We discussed some options and I asked some questions. Joe was very personable. He provided me with answers to my questions and he made sure that I was educated on how the locks worked and what kind of locks they were. Joe did not try to sell me anything more than what I needed. Last, because I found him through Angie's list he provided both a discount on the estimated cost and provided the keys for free.

I was very impressed with Joe. He showed up when we were very busy with other installers on our moving day. He quickly did his job. He seemed to understand our frustrations that day with a smile. He had me check his work and instructed me how to use the locks. I liked him alot.

Joe came in the day after I called (on a Saturday) right on time and set to work. He ran into the same problem which was, without taking the door apart to get the outside handle off, it was nearly impossible to get the doorknob secured. However he managed to get it secure by cutting a few custom screws to hold it in. Even with the door sticking, its now possible to open it. He spent about 1 1/2 hrs getting it to work, found that the hinges were loose possibly causing the door to stick, and pointed out the operation of that style of lockset and possible solutions in the future(adding a separate deadbolt). He was very pleasant, professional and informative. (And he is pet freindly - just ask my two dogs and cat who watched him work!) Would definetely call him again.

Same day service. Joe came over an hour after I called him. Did the job quickly and correctly. Good price.

Joe fit us in the same day I called. I was 5 minutes late and he was already at our door waiting. Our house is older, so the older locks took some work. Joe repaired one of them and didn't charge us for that extra effort.

We had contacted Joe previously about a sticking key in an exterior door and over the phone he suggested we try lubricating the lock saving us a service call. When we had another lock problem we immediately thought of Joe and he was very prompt and courteous even calling us before arriving. He fixed the problems we called him about and then, as noted above, he fixed a few other issues in the house, explaining each one on the way and letting us know up front what the costs would be. He was a pleasure to work with and I will use him again for any locksmith tasks.

Joe is very professional, responsive, and reasonably priced. We spoke on the phone about what my needs are and he came prepared to do the work. However, when he got to the house, I realized that I did not want a new hole drilled into the 100-year-old front door since it is in perfect condition and looks so beautiful as it is. Joe made another trip to the hardware store to buy a deadbolt that would fit the existing doorknob/mechanism. He was very courteous making this extra trip and didn't charge us extra. He also replaced the strike on the lock that we bought with a more robust one and didn't charge us. Another extra is that he found an extra ring in his truck to fit on the lock on the frontdoor which fit nicely over the exposed wood area where the old lock was.

It was great. Joe was incredibly knowledgable and told me over the phone what his course of action would be and how much it would cost. He was thorough and very effective.

Joe was on time, very professional, and pleasant to work with. He was honest and gave me several options before starting the work. He got the job done very quickly and cleaned up after himself.
