Description of Work: When I explained what it was I needed to have done, I was referred to another company. The referral was right on and the other company member performed the job with perfection. So, Joe was very helpful in getting me to the right people to do the job I requested. The other company is not on Angie's List.

Description of Work: Joe was very professional called before he came out and showed up right on time. He re-keyed 4 doors and adjusted each one so they operate like clock work. The doors were very hard to close and lock before he adjusted them now I can lock them with one hand, he even fixed a bathroom door which would not close or lock with no extra charge!!! After he was finished we went over each door and made sure it met my expectations! He then gave me my Angie's list discount

Description of Work: Joe exceeded my expectations. He showed up earlier than anticipated and did a great job on the locks. He was very professional and walked us through any questions. I would definitely use him again in the future.

Description of Work: On my front door, Joe changed the striker plate and screws and tightened the door hinge. Did a great job in a short period of time. In the future if I have any doors problem, he will be the one I call and will recommend him to my family and friends.

Description of Work: A front door deadbolt was malfunctioning, and I assumed a new lock and several keys would be needed. Joe diagnosed the problem quickly, determined that the deadbolt was in fine working order, made some adjustments to the door and doorframe, and successfully fixed things. It was a total success, with minimal time and expense.

Description of Work: My neighbor appeared at my door with a panic request for help. He had locked himself out of the house. There was no way in and he had been outside for an hour with his two year old grand daughter. I called Joe Fradette and he informed me it would take him 45 minutes to get here and because it was labor day it would cost $80. He arrived 45 minutes later and opened the door to my much relieved neighbor who incidentally spoke little English. I consider this to be excellent service and would recommend Joe to anyone looking for locksmith service.

Because of our work schedules, Joe came out that afternoon--very punctual and professional. He fixed the door--it was not the deadbolt lock, but the lock on the knob that was stuck. He correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it.

Description of Work: Called at 5:15 to inquire about having my front door re-keyed, and it was finished by 6pm. We lived in the same neighborhood (Old Brooklyn) so he came right over. He was very quick and I would use him for future needs.

Description of Work: Joe came out back in March 2007 to fix a door lock that would not open. Joe came out within one hour of calling, even though it wasn't an emergency. He discovered that the latch mechanism was out of alignment and that I did not need a new lock. He took apart and reassembled the door latching mechanism. He was very informative and only charged me for the service call. I would highly recommend him to everyone and would use him again.
