They did excellent work and showed up on time. I thought the price was reasonable too.

We have a continual problem with the gutter at the back of our house. It has fallen off, or almost fallen off, twice in the last 5 years. The first time, I called J Paul, as it was starting to pull away from the house - it was full of ice. He said there was nothing he could do until it fell, as the weight of the ice made it unsafe for a worker to do anything with it. He came out to my house a few days later on Christmas Eve, just to check on the gutter. Amazingly, the gutter had fallen just an hour before he arrived. I hadn't planned to call him as it was Christmas Eve, but there he was! He stabilized the gutter and power line, and said he would come back on the 26th. He showed up early on the 26th and replaced everything. He offered advice on how to prevent this in the future. He is a true professional - very dedicated. I will always hire him for gutter work on my house.

John Paul is the one who always does the work. He does not sub-contract anyone else to do the work. He charges very reasonable prices for the services he provides.

Call to get information. They came out within 3 days, examined the house and left a written estimate in the mailbox. I chose them over others I had contacted because they offered a fair price, did not require an appointment to meet with me and try to pressure me with any upselling and include disposal of old gutters. I called back to schedule the work. They showed up on the day they said they would and had the work done in one day. For someone like me who has a very busy schedule and is not generally home during the day, it was great to be able to handle things over the phone and get the work done on-time with no problems.

It was a great job. He came out and fixed it all, put a new gutter on the back of the house. He came when he said he would, and was very professional. The price was great. The job was awesome.

He came by and gave the estimate one morning. I was here to talk with him. His estimate was for the one gutter we needed rehung / repaired, but he said that in his estimate he'd replace the other two gutters just because they were in bad shape. When asked about Angie's list discount, he took $10 off the $275 estimate. We called to give the go-ahead, and he was here within 1-2 days and got the job done with absolutely no problems. The work looks good. Great job. I didn't even know when he was here. The check is already in the mail to him.

Went very well. Quick response to phone call requesting estimate. Gave good estimate, including price for re-attaching facia board (minimal). Came out promptly to do work (as weather permitted). Was quick, but very good work. Easy to reach, reasonable price, excellent work, ease of payment. (Sent bill to home, accepted checks).

He worked quickly and did a neat job. The work was very satisfactory. They even worked closely with the painters, prepping the work, letting them paint before finishing.

He came and performed the work. It fixed the problem and the cost was 75% less than the other estimates. He came when expected and cleaned up everything. He knows gutter problems. Very easy to deal with. I plan to hire him again to route some downspouts into rain barrels.

After a disappointing attempt to contact another recommended roofer, an neighbor gave me J. Paul's name and number. John Paul came out to the house and assessed problems with drainage and gutter overflow on the house and a double garage roof in dire need of replacement before winter. He gave me an estimate and promised the work within two weeks. He kept his promise, solved the gutter problems, did additional repair and window caulking, and did a tear down and replacement of the garage roof with high quality material. The work was finished in less than a day and the crew did an amazing job of respecting landscaping and cleaning up. All in all, a great experience.

I had a problem three months later after the work was completed and they came out immediately and repaired the problem at no extra charge. I then had a second problem, so I called them and they came out again. They took care of new problem as well, at no extra charge. This is one company you can recommend to anyone!

He was Johnny on the spot. He did a great job! He's been back to do some additional work. We are quite satisfied.

After the last couple of heavy rains we experienced during August, I had water leaking into the house at the corner of the house where one of the downspouts is. I noted that not only was water leaking into the house but the gutter on the outside was overflowing. I called John Paul and explained the situation. He was friendly and polite. He said he and his crew would come the next morning. When I came home from work that day and it appeared that work had been done on the gutter section I had identified. I found an invoice in the mailbox for the agreed to amount. The invoice said "clean and re-nail" but no further explanation of what was found or work done. I would have liked to have known. We have not had any significant rain since the fix so I will have to wait to see if the problem has really been resolved.

Called for an estimate of replacing front gutter as tree limb had fallen and dented the gutter. Received estimate in less than a week and work completed within one week of my calling to accept estimate. Excellent job.

We got a recommendation from our roofer to get gutters from John Paul and saw his company's very positive rating on Angie's. We received a free estimate from John Paul and compared to other estimates, the price was the best, especially given the higher gauge of the gutters. However, after agreeing to have the work done, the schedule changed two times without us knowing and with no call to us (though there was good reason for the changes-snow and ordering). When trying to get in touch with him, we did not receive a call back for a few days. A call back would have been nice and would have helped with our frustration (we thought we were forgotten). But once the men came to put on the gutters, the workmanship was fine, and the installation took no time at all. The only problem was the lack of communication in the beginning. Quality of product and workmanship were excellent, and we look forward to them lasting for years to come. Thank you!

It was fine. I called him twice and both times he returned my call on the same day. Told me he would replace gutter, I didn't have to be home. He said the minimum he comes out for is $225.00. He came when he said he would, replaced items named above without any extra charges. I have no idea if the amount I paid is high, average or low. One other person I called did not return call.

They were responsive. Only sold me what I needed. They were punctual and they cleaned up.

J Paul was responsive and did quality work and cleaned up well. Price was about average but whole experience was rather hassle free.
