J PAUL'S SEAMLESS GUTTERS

I'm a little late in writing this review, but thought I should since J Paul's did a good job and installed quality gutters, unlike the flimsy ones previously installed by a roofing company. J Paul even came out on a Sunday to go over the job with me. I would highly recommend them and would not have a roofing company install gutters again.

John promptly provided a quote for the work I asked for. His expertise and experience were quite evident as I asked him questions about the gutter system on my house. His quote was in line with others I received, and he came highly recommended by another vendor I used. He did the job while I was at work and it looked top notch. Highly recommended.

John Paul promptly returned my initial phone call for an estimate. He came when he said he would and gave an accurate and detailed estimate. He offered many colors to choose from for the gutters. Once a date was selected, John Paul arrived on time with his crew and completed their work fast and efficiently. The final cost was the same as the estimate. John Paul not only is the owner, but salesman and worker. He had his crew go an extra step to dump the contents of the old gutters in the woods behind my house. It was such a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend him for anyone's gutter needs.

After playing phone tag for a couple of days due to my work schedule, I spoke with Tina on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. I explained to her that we were looking for quotes for gutters, downspouts, and Leaf Relief for our main home and a rental property. Tina stated the Paul would "be out sometime over the weekend". A couple of hours later, our tenant called to say he was there, and shortly thereafter he arrived at our home. Paul took the time make a couple of suggestion to divert water further from our foundation, and to save our newer roof from extra wear from upper roof downspouts spilling onto lower roof. I told Paul I would let him know on Tuesday of our decision after speaking with my husband. I called Tuesday and we scheduled the work at our main house for Thursday, with a rain date of Friday. Paul and his employee arrived shortly after 8:30 a.m. and had the job completed by 10:00 a.m.! They left the yard spotless and debri free. As I'm writing this review, it is pouring rain and I hear absolutely no trickling or dripping noises from the new gutters (which woke me at night with the old ones). This has been a totally positive experience for us, and we're looking forward to having the rental done in the fall. I also might add that I called Paul solely on Angie's List reviews and I did not get any other quotes. However, based on the fact that we had the same work done over 20 years ago on a smaller home and spent $500 on that job, I believe his price was completely fair. Great job and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

John provided an estimate, returned calls, and performed the job on time and exactly as he promised. He even came back and fixed some concrete around the base of a downspout at no extra charge. The new gutters look great and he cleaned up all debris and took it with him. Overall a great company to hire.

Price was good, he came when he said he would, he did what he said he would and he cleaned up after himself. What more can you ask for.

JPaul complied with my requests, cleaned up after themselves, and did good work - all seams were sealed, pitches were set for proper drainage, etc. and they integrated into my existing downspouts. great work at a great price.

I called for an estimate, which I received within a few days. The work was performed three days after I accepted the proposal. They were very professional and they did an excellent job. The wind had blown a piece of siding loose from the top of the house, and John Paul agreed to secure it, at no extra charge. I am very pleased with their work and I love the new gutters.

They treated me very well. The quality was middle grade, only because they didn't follow through and come back to fix a couple of things.

Estimate was promply provided. Service was completed 2 days later.

They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves.

We were having a problem with water overflowing from the gutters on the front of our house. John came out and determined that the size of the original gutters was too small for the rainflow off that part of the roof. He suggested a larger gutter and downspout, and suggested that the gutter be a little offset from the roofline to catch more water. Solved the problem, no more overflow even during very heavy rain. John came out quickly to when we called, gave the estimate at the time he came out, and his crew completed the work a few days after that quickly and professionally. We're happy with this company and would use them again.

I realize that this time of year is very busy and it was wonderful of J Paul to come so soon. The only problem is that my husband wanted to actually talk to him and see the product, the colors available, and find out their method of installation. So we did call back but could not speak to him, so left a message. J Paul was quick, professional and certainly willing to accommodate our request, but we had already received other estimates and viewed products from which we made our decision. So by the time he called back we had committed ourselves to another company.

The overall experience was good. The owner, John, was good on returning calls and straightforward plus professional on what services he provided. The new gutters and downspouts look great. The weather did play a factor in getting the job done but John worked around his other jobs and installed the gutters before bad weather hit. This was a nice touch of extra service John provided.

John Paul responded to my call immediately and came out a couple days later to look at the problem that I had described to him over the phone. The gutters when there would be a heavy rain (because of the double roofs) would overflow causing soil erosion around the house. John explained that the elbows from one roof to the other could not handle the flow of water, therefore causing the rain to flow over the gutter instead of down the spout. He was very thorough with his explanation and assured me that I would like the results. The following week, he made the changes (while I was at work) to the gutters and cleaned them. Since the work was done, there have been two heavy rains and the gutters have not spilled over.

While replacing the gutters, I was informed of a potential problem due to garage roof shingles that weren't installed low enough on the roof. There could be ice backup that could harm the wood. We could leave it alone or they could apply the drip edge. There was no pressure or hard sales pitches to purchase the drip edge. I had them install it (we get a lot of snow and ice). They had to contend with a very large old tree behind the garage that was actually touching the gutters. They did a great job, quality products, quality workmanship. They cleaned up after themselves (I didn't have to pick up one thing). I was informed about a severely cracked crock, how to replace it and where I could purchase it.

We thought it was a very good price. He showed us the product before he put it up. He came when he said he would. We are very happy with it all. He was very, very nice.

It went just fine and I was very pleased. Their price was a good and competitive.

When first contacted, John Paul responded quickly with an estimate and then performed the work as soon as weather permitted. The repairs were completed quickly, professionally and within the estimate - even though it required additional work beyond the original scope of the estimate to fix the problems. I would use J Paul Seamless gutters for gutter repair again.

They were backed up on work and couldn't get out to my house until a week later than they originally thought they could. They were very professional with the cleaning and the roof looks great. I had a large garbage can full of water from my leaking gutter and he emptied this without asking. Gave us some tips for fall cleaning. I am very happy with the work. I will definitely have them back in the fall.
