Description of Work: Replace rotted out sill plate and rim joist in back of hoise. Replaced concrete patio as nessesarys. Replaced siding as nessesary. This COMPANY did an awesome job.

Description of Work: Contacted this company based upon reputation and professional affiliations. They took the time to come out and look at my bathroom and family room remodeling job, but instead of saying they were not interested, they simply never even sent me an estimate. Unless your project is in the 50-60 thousand dollar range or more, don't waste your time with this company

Description of Work: We did not use Hurst Remodeling for our project, but we did receive an estimate. Pat was on time for our appointment and stayed incontact with me for several months regarding my options to fixing our dining room and our bathroom ventilation problems. I have seen and impressed with several of the kitchen and bathroom projects completed by Hurst Remodeling the past 5 years. From additions, to completely remodeled kitckens and bathrooms. They do an excellent job. Even though we did not use Hurst Remodeling to fix our dining room and ventilation issues this time, we will consider them again, when its time for us to remodel our master bathroom.

Description of Work: I had a similar experience to others in recent reports. I selected contractors to contact based on information from both NARI and Angie's list for a kitchen remodel. Hurst website states that they have a crew of 15 and do "large jobs". Not having any idea what would be considered a large job, I raised this question on my first call to them. I told them that I was looking for a $20 -$25K budget and asked if that would fall into their work. I was told that it would be 3 weeks before they could schedule a consultation but that if I was willing to wait, they could do this. Because their references were so good, I decided to wait and we scheduled a time for them to come to my home. They were very professional at his stage, calling me to reaffirm the appointment and arriving at my home exactly as scheduled. After reviewing with Pat what I needed done, we discussed different products for flooring, counters, etc and how they would effect my budget. He advised me that what I wanted could be done within my budget noting that product selection is what creates the range for costs for a kitchen. During this consultation, Pat was did not appear hurried, was professional and very helpful. He told me that he would send me a proposal by the following Wednesday. When more than a week went by, I called to inquire. I was told that he was sorry that he had been really busy and that he would have something for me the next week. I never heard from Hurst again. A couple of the other contractors I found through this NARI and Angie list search returned calls right away advising me that they were too busy and/or too far from my location to take on my work and offered names and phone numbers of others I might contact. One noted that if I had not found someone by a certain date to call him back. These businessman respected me and my time and earned my respect. Pat Hurst not so much.

Description of Work: An appointment for an estimate was arranged promptly and courteously. Dan Hurst showed up on time on the appointed day and was courteous and knowledgeable. He promised an estimate withing a week. Never heard again from him or from Hurst Remodeling.

Description of Work: Hurst installed windows, siding, roofing, bathroom fixtures, flooring, lighting, heating, cabinetry and ventilation.
