On time. Took down old curtains, window shades, and installed new blinds.

Joel came to the house at time that was convenient and brought samples of the various options and colors. Joe made recommendations and he allowed me sufficient time to go through the various samples he had to ensure the one that I choose was the best for out kitchen entry way and family room. Joel picked up the chair at that time and returned it a few weeks later looking better than it had previously. We can actually use the rocker again.

The owner personally made certain that I was completely satisfied with the products and their installation. The experience was pleasant from start to finish.

Mr. Herman installed the blinds himself on a Saturday only a week after the order was placed. Very fast, professional, courteous.

I confirmed order next day, had made creative window treatments for son and wife. After seeing work, ordered additional work for other room.

All likes, he was very personable, he knew his product, and quick installations. He was dealing with the family like all the way down to the baby, he brought in treats for his dogs, I mean, he was just an all- around good guy and he does amazing work, he installed probably 6 rooms and he was done in 102 hours, I mean, he was amazing. I actually have recommended him for other people, so anybody that I hear that is looking for blinds, I give them his contact information for saying that he has the best product out there and you will never find a better guy doing the work.

Joel has done several window treatments for us over the years. He always comes up with wonderful ideas and or design. His work and materials are top notch! Pricing is competitive with other high quality offerings.

Joel was very punctual, professional and helpful. He went beyond installing window treatments. I bought from him by installing my kids window treatments from another vendor and gave me advice along with way.

Joel Herman delivers a quality customer experience. The window shades were good quality and he was courteous. He came out and hung the shades and they look beautiful. He also included a grip so that shades can be pulled up and down easily.

Excellent - told them what I was looking for, he came out to me assured, and they showed me my options. Told me it would be 2 weeks and 2 weeks later he was installing my blind.

Joel is very professional and knowledgable. The installation was very quick because of his skill and experience. He gave us good color advice. He also removed all the chair seats himself and then reassembled the 8 chairs for after they were recovered.

Joel was on time, very friendly and spent a lot of time with me. No pressure, informed me of credits for energy saver, very knowledgeable of products. Being in business for 100 plus years was an important to me because it meant stability and he was third generation.

I thought they did an outstanding job. The owner was who we dealt with and he was outstanding and friendly. He actually came to our house several times to adjust the blinds. One needed to be slightly modified so he took it, modified it, brought it back and put it in himself. They were great.

After receiving a mailer advertisement, we went to the showroom. The showroom was very clean and not overwhelming. Joel was kind and helpful, he came to our home and helped us narrow our selection of wood shades. We did not feel pressured or rushed, Joel installed them. We love our wood shades!

Mr. Herman was on time, knew what he was doing, cleaned up any wrappings and materials and took it with him.

Originally I was looked to replace the power strip for my Hunter Douglass Shade. This company had 1 in stock. When I went to pick it up I saw they also made shades and I was looking to replace the shades in my bedroom. They were able to provide what I was looking for.

I used visited HTWF showroom. Met with Joel Hesman. He showed me products (blinds) and I made my selection. This is the second purchase with him so I knew his service and products were excellent, reasonably priced. Joel is very professional and solid expertise in this business. His products are high quality, functional products. Service is excellent.

Joel and Michelle were both very professional - from initial contact through service. Our initial showroom meeting was followed by an in-home consultation - very necessary!! As we changed once we had the furniture piece fabric in the room where it would stay.

The blinds are now worse off than before they showed up. They refused to come back because they said they couldn't do anything for me and they would not return the $250 service fee. I was also upset because the representative came in and right away gave a treat to my dog who is allergic to chicken. He was vomiting all night and the representative should have asked me first. The technician/owner, Joel Herman came to the house to assess whether he was able to fix the problem BEFORE we hired him. Mr. Herman was well aware of the operating issues BEFORE he accepted he job. He obviously accepted this job which was not in his area of expertise. He was unprofessional and rude to both my husband and I while speaking on the phone and blamed the original installer for his inability to handle the job. He also monopolized my housekeepers time "helping him" push the remote control buttons while he was in another room. If he needed an assistant he should have brought his own.

The job could not have gone smoother - from the initial consultation & measuring to the final installation everything was handled professionally & done with precision.

Joe Herman arrived on time worked efficiently and skillfully and cleaned up after he had finished. He was courteous and professional in our contact with him.

I found Herman Textile Window Fashions on Angie's List. I had been looking for a drapery company to make custom drapes for my living room picture window. When I called Herman Textile Window Fashion to inquire, I spoke with a really nice gal named Michelle. She set up the appointment and asked me specific questions about the project; colors, fabric weight, style of rod, etc. I felt that she had a good idea of my project without even coming to my home. Joel Herman came to my home and brought many beautiful fabric samples. Also, he brought wood rod samples, tassel samples, etc. All in a variety of price ranges. I looked at and considered many fabric options. I knew immediately that Joel's suggestion of a very large and heavy wood rod with matching rings and finials was the right choice. It was something I would not have thought of on my own, and it was way more money than I ever would have thought to spend on a curtain rod. But, it makes a definite design statement in my room and I will be looking at it for years and years. It was, in my opinion, worth the money. Naturally, there were some exquisite fabrics that were also exquisitely expensive!! I ended up choosing a lovely fabric at the lower end of cost grid. I placed my order and gave Joel a check for 50% of the total cost. Joel did his very best to get the draperies made for me in as short a time as possible. He installed them himself. I can tell you that his attention to detail is fabulous. When he hung the drapes they looked great. When he got done steaming the drapes they looked fantastic! Every fold was in place and the overall effect is lovely. On the topic of functionality, I am also very pleased. I do not close these drapes every evening. I draw them closed by hand when necessary. This gives us total privacy and a beautiful look from the inside of the room. These drapes were expensive by my standards. I know I could have gotten something that cost much less from a large company like J.C. Penney. But, I do not change my decor very often so I knew I would be purchasing window dressing that would need to last for many years. That is why I chose to buy custom made draperies. These drapes are beautifully made; they are perfect quality from top to bottom. I am pleased with my purchase.
