Excellent.

It was very easy. I was replacing the same shades that I had for 30 years prior to the new ones being installed. The product is American made (green product as well). I did not price shop at all so I have no comparrison for the price.

Our experience with Herman Textiles was excellent. The greatest importance to us was finding an upholsterer and curtain fabricator who understood exactly what we wanted, and Joel Herman was that person. We had very specific ideas, and had already decided on a particular set of fabrics. Joel understood what we wanted and how to achieve that end. The upholstery work on our 90" circa 1960 Knoll sofa was superb - no detail was missed. Every seam was perfect, the new cushions were correctly matched to the original catalog photos we provided. This is a iconic mid-century modern sofa and Herman Textiles was able to restore it to its original design. While we knew exactly what the sofa should look like when completed, we only had a concept for the curtains. Joel understood what we desired and helped design and turn our vision into reality. The curtains were beautifully sewn and installed and look terrific. All of the work done took place over a couple of months. Please understand we were in no hurry. We were still finishing work in the condo, including carpet installation, etc. Herman Textiles aided us in taking the sofa early so we didn't have another large piece of furniture to move when the carpet was being done, which was quite helpful. Overall, this was a pleasant experience, one of the best during a year long remodeling.

Joel Herman made the process easy. He came over bringing beautiful samples so I could see how the draperies would look in my home. End result beautiful custom draperies.

I think if I had used any other window treatment company my story would have had a very sad ending. I went to Joel's showroom and picked out the fabric and we arranged for the installation. The day of the install Joel's installer hung the valances while I was working in my office. When I came up to look at them, I was crestfallen, they were not at all what I thought we had agreed on. The fabric was perfect, but the style was all wrong. Joel called me, came out, immediately took them down and back to his workroom. No arguments, no equivocating, no excuses. They completely redid them and hung them today. They are perfect and exactly what I wanted. I think it's a true measure of a business's character and integrity when they are willing to go to this length to make a customer happy. I can't imagine ever dealing with anyone else for window treatments.

It went fine. They did a professional job. I was very satisfied.

Joel Herman welcomed us immediately in his well-equipped showroom, and was able to quickly assess our needs and show us options. We took materials samples home; made the selection; and within two weeks Joel was installing the blinds. They work beautifully and give us the remote-control options of fully-closed; open--or partially open--blinds; and fully retracted so you hardly notice the fixture.

Overall, the experience was great. Their pricing was reasonable. I had blinds made for a bay window, and the cost (including installation) was $350. He did an excellent job; he installed them himself. He measured beforehand, and gave options with a price range. I was very pleased with his work and I'd recommend him to others.

They have come out a few times over the past couple months. They were fine. They were a good company. They were responsive. They had a good selection. They were also helpful when they came out. The quality of the work was good.

It was a pleasure working with Joel. He was always on time, does quality work and completed the job without any problems. We are very pleased with the results. Oh, and he's funny too.

The prices were better than competitive. He was very reliable AND very punctual. He was very eager to please.

I have been using their services for about seven years. They provide excellent service. He will come to the house and bring samples. He is very responsive and will come back to adjust things. He has a wide range of prices for a particular product. He is very friendly and wants to please.
