Larry arrived earlier than scheduled due to a cancellation after calling to make sure it was OK. He was very personable and went straight to work aware of the time. He knew what he was doing and quickly cleared the clog. He also discovered a leak in the drain pipe under the tub and after explaining what it would take to repair it, set up a follow up time to replace the bad pipe. The entire job was done within a half hour and we were completely satisfied.

Drain line replacement went well. Plumbing line snaking did not solve the problem. Plumber did not have enough time to do the job and asked us to clean up after him.

This service provider did an outstanding job. I had prepped the site, had all the hook ups ready and the majority of the material needed to complete the install I had previously purchased prior to him arriving so everything was ready to install. The installer worked quickly and efficiently couldn't be happier.

Complicated problem. Original plumbing in home built in 1904 has issues with garbage disposal volume at times. Resolution was complicated, took several hours. Job done well: clean, professional. Required additional intervention in the basement, not mere snaking the line.

They're fine. We don't have any problems with them. The price was reasonable. I like the service. We've been using them forever, so nothing stands out anymore. They've done everything for me. They did some work on the furnace. They did some work on toilets, etc. We've been using them about twenty years. They do very good work. They give you a timeframe and they always show up within the timeframe. They do a very good job.

They were punctual and very professional in their work. I will use them in the future.

Stop two separate leaks in bathroom. The sink and tub and change tub handles. Handle set cost about $40, but was told they were special and had to pay over $100 for the serviceman to pick them up from a plumbing store across town. I live out of town so I felt trapped and just wanted the leak to be taken care of. I don't blame Herb Plumbing it the cost of doing business but I will not use them again. Maybe cost could have been avoided if I would have got an estimate but was told it would take another week it so after explaining the problem to them it sound like it wouldn't take much or long to fix Anyway what's done is done.

All went well! I do not have any water leaking under my sinkers.

We all have a project that we think " I gotta get that fixed", right? When it came time to get it fixed before the deep winter freeze, I found finding a plumber was easier said than done. Even on Angie's List I found some were out of our area or booked out more than 2 weeks. I called Scott on a Tuesday, & he was here Thursday morning, on time. He was calm and confident and the faucet was changed in less than 2 hrs. The area was left clean and things returned to their former position . His may not have been the first number I called but it will be in the future. Thanks Scott.

The process went very well. They were knowledgeable and very engaging about their work. The assistant was very good and performed most of the work at the direction of the licensed plumber.

Ray, the technician they sent, was right on time, very professional, and did what he had to do. He cleaned up after themselves as well.

From estimation to completion, Herb's plumbing achieved every task to fix my plumbing problem. They were courteous, responsive, communicative, and punctual. I recommend and will hire them again.

My experience started out poorly. I had purchased the Angie's Big Deal that was supposed to cover 2 hours of plumbing labor, so I set up a date that I understood would be the day that the work would be done. I had told them over the phone the things that I needed fixed. That day came, and I took the day off of work to be there for them to do work. After being late for 2 hours, I called to inquire what was the hold-up and was told Herb was in court and it was running later than expected, so he wouldn't be able to come out and give me a quote. I explained that I was expecting work to be done that day, and the person I spoke with said that I had to get a quote first (even though I've already paid for 2 hours of work). Instead of Herb coming out to give me a quote, they sent someone else who was supposed to take a look at the work I needed done and then provide a quote. After over a month and no work back from Herb's, I had to call again, just to find out that Spencer couldn't prepare the quote, and that I had to schedule yet another time for Herb to come out and do the quote. I have had other plumbers and electricians, and have never had to schedule a time for a quote and the work be done on different days. So I had to take another day off of work to be there for Herb to come out and give me a quote. I set up the day for the work to be done, and took yet another day off of work (3rd day now), only to be told about an hour before the scheduled time that there a couple of workers that called in sick and so my work wouldn't be done that day so I had to reschedule. I understand this happens, except this was the 3rd day that I had to take off of work and still no work had been done even though I had paid for 2 hours to be done already. So finally, on the fourth day off of work, the plumbers came out and took care of the work I needed completed. Unfortunately, I had billing issues as well due to a complete lack of communication from Herb's who, throughout all of my experiences, was completely lacking. I was also disappointed that the billing rate for the work that was over the 2 hours from the Big Deal was charged at a much higher rate than those 2 hours. The billing rate was also much higher than other plumbers that I have used before as well. Although the work was satisfactory, the overall experience with Herb's was bad due to horrible communication from Herb's and the high billing. I will not use Herb's again, and would not recommend it to anyone else, based on my experience.

Had a list of 5 items to do. Tighten shower fitting, replace sink hot water valve, leaky kitchen faucet, leaky toliet, etc. Every thing was completed within an hour. Warrentied parts were ordered to fix shower fitting for a later date. Mike seemed very knowledgable about each question I had. I would definitely ask for him on future jobs. The cost was $160 (I always think that's too much) BUT, I had an Angie's List Coupon.

Everything went better than expected. They called as they were on their way, so I knew when they were coming. They didn't try to sell me work I didn't need to have done and instead just made a minor adjustment to my outdoor tap (instead of replacing it). The work they did perform was done efficiently and turned out perfectly. I will be using them again to install a new utility sink, for which they gave me a consultation and walked me through my options. They were friendly, courteous (toward me and my dog), tidy, and efficient.

I needed several non-urgent plumbing tasks done so I purchased a 2 hour deal from the Angies List website and then contacted Herb's Plumbing to schedule the work. The scheduler was very courteous and got me an appointment within a couple of days. They came within the time frame that was estimated and got started right away. I had to leave for work, but they were able to do the plumbling tasks and left the place in the same condition it was found. It took them less time than the 2 hour deal that I purchased, but since I needed a part replaced, we just called it even. I would definitely use Herb's Plumbing again in the future.

The work was done at a rental unit I own. It was important to get the repair made the same day to avoid inconveniencing my tenants. When I was unable to remove the defective cartridge, I called Herb's and they sent someone right out. This was the second time i had called on Herb's, and I was satisfied with their responsiveness and pricing both times. As a Cleveland Heights resident, I try to deal as much a s possible with local businesses.

I called in the morning and they were at my house before noon with a new water heater. The water heater is in a cramped location, but the tech did a great job of removing the old one and getting the new one in. He also completely redid the flue connection to the chimney, as it was horribly botched when the old water heater was put in. The tech was very professional and did a great job.

Since this was the second time in 4 months the sewer had backed up, I had them use the camera after they snaked the sewer line from the street to the house and cleared the blockage. Turns out there were some really tough roots growing in such a way that it took 4 attempts with the cutter attachment to really get rid of them. Very professional and thorough guys.

Very well. While doing the demo, I had some trouble with the toilet shut-off. They sent someone around to do a temporary fix. They are tidy and prompt and always leave a clean workspace when they are done.
