They did a very good job. I would be willing to get another quote from them. I could potentially use them again, but I would change a couple things about it.

Mr. Marvaldi did everything he promised and more. The workers were professional and neat. By the time the work was done I felt as though they were apart of my family. I will be using them next year to remodel my kitchen. I expect to have a long rewarding relationship with this company.

I have nothing, but very good reviews for him. He treated me like a queen…I loved it. I liked everything. The sales man…He actually saved me money. He is honest and he doesn't want to push more expensive things on people. He talked very sensibly. The help he has was very professional and they spread the word of Mr. Gerome and Gerome came out himself and he inspected the job, told the time and they were very respectful of him and that looks good to me. The salesmanship showing me around, it's the courtesy…Honest to God, I felt like a queen. The clean up was fabulous and they didn't leave any mess. They were fast. The work in a week or so was done and everything is beautiful and I don't have any complaints. He worked with me with the price. At first I thought it was high, but he didn't rush me or pressure me either. I was slow at making up my mind and he gave me plenty of time and it ended up being within my budget and I really don't think I sacrificed anything. The quality is excellent. Their warehouse I went to had all the top qualities and of course it was my choice so I was shown every scale of merchandise. It's not their own, I guess all the contractors that are fishing around for designers... It was like unlimited choice. It was fabulous. I would definitely use them in the future. I am thinking about my kitchen and I am thinking of calling him and that's for sure.

The job went very well from our first meeting through the work and finishing up. The only glitch was a delay in getting the glass (who was a sub-contractor) but even at that they did an excellent and professional job. All of the tradespeople were on time, efficient, courteous, and cleaned up. A couple of very very minor glitches (fewer than you would expect) were dealt with immediately and effectively. Along with the great work we got very good advice and the benefit of a very experienced company. Tony Gerome understood the project from the start and was in daily when work was going on in order to check and supervise. He even made sure to check the work after it was all done and he had been paid.

It turned out very nice. They did a nice design and the work turned out very well. I would recommend them.

Last year we had to replace everything but the whirlpool tub because of leaks and inability to clear the whirlpool drain. Half the walls were demolished down to the studs and considerable work was needed under the floor. We will probably have to demolish part of the whirlpool deck to do work that may still be needed on plumbing underneath the whirlpool, since access is completely insufficient. When the project was first finished, I was disappointed that the shower floor wasn't properly sloped and the cabinets seemed a little cheaper than what I remembered picking out. Tony G. told me the shower floor was "an optical illusion," though a judicious use of a rolling marble would have proven otherwise. He said the cabinets were just the same; I should have asked to see his invoice. I also didn't realize that the whirlpool shouldn't have been installed so we have to climb over the valves to get in and out. Two other bathroom renovations later, I'm older and a lot wiser. I didn't realize until now that the shower walls were of the wrong material and the tiling was done completely incorrectly, which is why we had moisture in the adjacent plaster and under the shower. I shudder to think what some of those A graders will find 10 or 15 years from now, but I'm confident some of them will find as many corners cut and half-baked work (including unprofessional sub-code plumbing, tile, and electrical work) as our current contractor found. I have photographs from 1997 and 2009. I would add that customers should not take a municipal inspector's word that your work has been done properly.

They paid attention to details. They did any corrections that we asked for as the work progressed without charging any extra money. They did a very professional job. The price was okay.

Excellent. Frank Marvaldi was up front and honest. Project was finished within a week. All employees were professional.

Project went very smoothly. Prompt, on-site review of our project proposal, providing advice and taking note of our desires. Assisted us and gave advice on selecting all materials, cabinets and fixtures. Placed orders and set tentative starting date. Met starting date and moved through the project through careful scheduling of workmen and delivery of materials. The work crew was experienced, used to working as a team, and keeping on schedule. Finished work in three weeks, then had to wait for custom shower door to arrive. This took two more weeks.

I am 100% satisfied with the way this project went from start to finish, and I love the way my two new bathrooms look and function. I also loved the professionalism of all the workmen, and that they explained when something had to be done a certain way (plumbing or electrical) in order to meet safety codes. That set my mind at ease. I told Frank from the beginning that while I wanted beauty, I also wanted ease of maintenance. With that in mind he guided my choices of tile and fixtures, and I ended up with everything I wanted-beauty, functionality and ease of maintenance. I will definitely use this company again, and would recommend them to anyone.

I found the office staff to be abrupt and rude. I scheduled my appointment with "Mr. Gerome" who said he'd be out personally to provide the quote. 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment he had not yet appeared. I called the office only to get a answer of 'Hello?". I wasn't even sure if it was Gerome's I called. When I asked if it was, I got a rude 'yeah'. I explained that I was waiting for Mr. Gerome and was told he'd call me back. 20 minutes later he called me and said he forgot about the appointment but wanted to come out nonetheless. I told him not to bother, he made a bad first impression and I wasn't interested in hiring him.

They were reasonably quick, it was a big job, they were done in like two weeks, they did a good job, we were pleased with the outcome, they were nice, they are professional, and responsive.

They are professional and they show up to appointments on time. They are clean and tidy when they do their work. I would recommend them to others and I would use them again in the future.

Overall, we were fairly pleased. I felt that they were pretty easy to work with. It took a little bit longer than expected, but I think part of that was due to us working back and forth on things. For the final walk through, they wanted to make sure we were happy, so there were some things they changed. We are happy with the shower and tub combination model that we got. It seems to be working well. The toilet we got is a little higher than most, which makes it easier to get on and off, and that seems to be working well, also. The reason we got a new door is because they knocked out the old door and made the bathroom larger. In making it a little larger, it seems to have made a big difference! I didn't realize we hadn't updated this report in a timely manner. Later on, we looked a little more closely and found that some of the things they were supposed to fix weren't fixed at all. The walls were supposed to be left in paintable condition, but the drywall is not ready to be painted - there are chunks missing around the new doorway and cracks that need to be filled in and sanded. The new door frame was poorly constructed - the bottom of the frame on one side is 1/2 inch above the floor, while the opposite side is flush with the floor. The wood frame around the new window has holes/indentations where the nails are, and there are chunks missing from the wood in many areas. The sink started leaking within a week of the installation -- the sink basin was not secured properly to the countertop. We had to get a plumber to rig up a support system for the basin. The mirror/medicine cabinet was not centered over the sink/vanity. The faucet in the bathtub is also installed off to one side instead of in the center. At first glance, things were good. After living with it for some time, we are not satisfied. We were not very vocal at the time, so they didn't really have a chance to respond.

I would use them again, they did a really nice job, and cleaned up well at the end of each day. It was definitely worth it for us. They handled any changes we made professionally. We had no problems.

He is very good and keep the customer satisfaction 1st with quality workers top notch.

Mr. Gerome was as prompt, responsive and helpful as we could have hoped for. He expertly and patiently guided us through the process of selecting styles and models for the cabinets, countertops, sink and fixtures. The work was completed exactly when Mr. Gerome said it would be done. We are quite pleased with our new kitchen.

This work was performed while I was away for the winter. There are things (eg placement of toilet paper holder) I would have changed had I been on site; however, I was primarily displeased with the size of one medicine cabinet and location on the wall of another and Frank made those adjustments quickly and well. They created a large amount of dust (unnecessarily, I think) but sent in a cleaning lady.

They did a great job. I would definitely recommend them.

This job was completed in August 2004 and was the second major job we used Gerome's for. Our first job (kitchen) went great and we were extremely pleased with it. This job was an awful experience for us. For the most part, we are satisfied with the craftmanship (their tile guy, Anthony, is awesome, we still get great comments on HIS work!), but it took three months to complete and involved a running labor dispute between Gerome's and their sub-contractor doing the work. Gerome's was dissatisfied with him and he was very dissatisfied with them. Rather than re-assign the work to another sub, Gerome's insisted he complete the job. Listening to both parties complain about the other became intolerable as the job dragged on and on. I understand this sub no longer works for them. I hope things have turned the bend for the better, but I won't use them again based on this one incident. A firm that doesn't understand not to take their problems out on the paying customer doesn't deserve my business.

The crews were prompt, organized, courteous, hard-working, and efficient.

Working with John and the work crew was easy. He was available by phone or returned phone calls quickly. Lisa, the secretary, was courteous and very efficient. The most accomplished crew member was Al Taddeo, the carpenter who oversaw the entire job. We were so impressed by Al and his work that we privately contracted with him to widen and replace the doors in and into our home. Although the job took longer than stated (through no fault of Gerome's), the bathroom is a true masterpiece! We could not be more pleased.

My initial contact resulted in a prompt response, and then after selecting certain fixtures, a written estimate. After I got over my sticker shock, I found their price was competitive. I was very pleased with their work. The workmen came as promised, they were neat and cleaned up. They were very pleasant and very accommodating, particularly in view of the fact this was my one and only bathroom. I had changed my mind in selection of vanity, sink, and medicine cabinet from my initial selection without any difficulty. The entire project was completed in about five days. I was very satisfied and would recommend Gerome's highly.

INITIALLY, IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE UNTIL I PAID THEM IN FULL. THERE WERE SOME MINOR THINGS THAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO COME BACK AND TOUCH UP, BUT THEY STILL HAVE NOT DONE SO. THEY PROMISED TO SEND SOMEONE OUT TO DO THE REPAIRS AND THEY NEVER CALLED OR SENT ANYONE. I LEFT MANY MESSAGES WITH THEM, THEY NEVER RETURNED CALLS. NOW THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR THE REPAIRS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO, WHEN BEFORE, THEY SAID THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUES AT NO EXTRA COST.

The owner was very professional and courteous. The cabinets, countertop, sink and flooring came out beautifully. I was not happy with the work done by the drywall contractor. He performed the work in a sloppy manner and there are brushstrokes in the ceiling stucco. Also, the coordination of the work seemed to be done in a disorganized manner. I was not given a specific date in advance of when the work would begin. If this company is hired, I strongly recommend making sure EVERY piece of work to be done is itemized in the contract and request specific dates for when contractors will be doing the work.
