Forest City does all of our tree work including some fertilizing and has done pruning and deadwooding for us in the past. We had put off some work but it became a priority with these trees and disease, space, and safety issues. I bid the job to one or two other services. Forest City was the least expensive. The job was just a hard one and not cheap, regardless. They came out and did the work. It was delayed by weather in late fall so we were right up on winter. They were able to use the truck in the front for both trees there. In the back they did crack some paving stones getting the truck in to get the tree by the back of the house. They deducted some from the bill for the damage and replaced the one crushed stone. Some others are still cracked, but useable. The trees were left in chunks where they dropped because we wanted to split and keep the wood. Stump grinding is an extra charge that was not included in our original quote, but I knew that.

They have been fine. We are very pleased with them. They are pretty friendly and always on time. They are responsive and professional.

They are outstanding. They have been taking care of our trees for 10 years now. They are top professionals. We have large trees that are older and they have kept them alive which is deeply appreciated. They are hard workers and highly professional.

They were very professional and very knowledgeable. They came on time. I got other estimates from other companies that were higher, so I thought the price was reasonable.

They were a little expensive, but they do a great job. It is hard to find an Arborist that really knows what they are doing. He took care of exactly what I wanted done. They came very highly recommended from another tree guy. I prepaid for the season. I will continue to use them in the future. The owner's name is Lauren S. Lanchear. He is an ISA certified Arborist. His license number is Ohio 5071A. He is a very nice guy.

Forest City took a LONG time to come out and provide a quote. I had to call back twice to find out what was happening over the course of several weeks. They should proactively manage their workload by calling customers to keep them apprised of when they can expect to receive quotes. The quote came in exceptionally high compared to other companies (for the pruning piece,) and we decided to try some more cost effective methods for improving the tree's health before going with their expensive recommendations.

Overall they are extremely professional. I was not happy that originally they were supposed to take down six or seven trees. I decided to keep. I wanted him to cut down the price, but he wouldn't alter the price. He sad sometimes it takes as long to trim as it does to cut them down. But I saw that it didn't take as long. Overall they are the top of the line. He did it in a timely fashion.

I DIDN'T HEAR FROM ANYONE FOR THREE MONTHS AFTER I AGREED TO THE WORK. THAT WAS OKAY, BUT IF I WAS IN A HURRY, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM. THE WORKERS DID A GREAT JOB TRIMMING AND CABLING THE TREE IN THE TIGHT SPACE IT WAS IN WITH A LOT OF ELECTRICAL WIRES. THEY NEATLY STACKED SOME OF THE WOOD FOR US TO USE. HOWEVER, I NEVER HEARD FROM ANYONE IF THEY INSPECTED FOR SCALE AND WHAT THEY FOUND ON THE BRANCHES. I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT MAY BE WRONG WITH THE TREE. THEY ASK FOR COMMENTS ON THE STATEMENT THEY SENT ME, SO I MAY STILL HEAR FROM THEM.

WORKER WAS POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. THE BUSHES LOOKED GREAT AFTER HE FINISHED HIS WORK. THE YARD WAS THOROUGHLY CLEANED UP AFTERWARDS.

DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO WORK WITH THE COMPANY.

I RECEIVED A CALL BACK ON 9/20 AND THE PERSON WAS VERY IMPOLITE, SHORT AND INDICATED THAT THEY WOULD NOT COME OUT FOR AN ESTIMATE. VERY NON-CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED.

THEY FOLLOWED-UP WITH A PHONE CALL TO MAKE SURE WE UNDERSTOOD THE ESTIMATE AND TO DISCUSS IT. I CALLED BACK AND HE GAVE ME SOME FREE INFORMATION. THEY'VE BEEN VERY COOPERATIVE AND HELPFUL.

PROMPT AND COURTEOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. HOWEVER, THEY ACTUALLY DID THE JOB 'WHENEVER' AND DID A VERY NON-AGGRESSIVE, SUPERFICIAL, AND INADEQUATE TRIMMING JOB. THEY HAD TO BE CALLED BACK TO COMPLETE JOB TO SATISFACTION.

TOOK TWO WEEKS TO GET BACK WITH ME. PRICE WAS HIGHER THAN OTHER ESTIMATES, PROPOSAL SEEMED SLOPPY, AND WAS HANDWRITTEN.

THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB AND I FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS. I WOULD SUGGEST THE CUSTOMER BE PRESENT WHEN THE ARBORISTS GIVES THE CONSULTATION. PRICES VARY DEPENDING ON THE JOB.

THE JOB WAS WELL DONE. THE FUNGICIDE WAS EFFECTIVE AND THE TREE IS MUCH HEALTHIER.

OVERALL, THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN EXCELLENT TO WORK WITH. THEIR PRICES ARE HIGH, BUT YOU GET HIGH QUALITY SERVICE AND COURTESY AS A RESULT.

VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ARBORIST, EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO MEMBER. HIGH QUALITY WORK ALL AROUND. WILL CONTINUE TO USE.

PERFORMED A RARE SERVICE INVOLVING THE INSTALLATION OF INSECTICIDE POLES IN THE BASE OF TREES; THE TREES HAVE NEVER BEEN HEALTHIER

HAVE USED THEM FOR 14 YEARS. THEY SPRAY NONTOXIC INSECT CONTROLS, TRIM GIGANIC OAKS,THIN AND LIMB UP SCRUBBY TREES, BUSHES, ETC. VERY KNOWLEDGABLE & RELIABLE. NOT EXPENSIVE IN MY OPINION.
