Description of Work: Dave evaluated a tree that had its roots compromised by sewer excavation. He was very knowledgeable and recommend the tree be removed. The crew was very professional and removed the tree with care. They cleaned up and removed all the debris. We would highly recommend this company.

We injected the ash tree in your back yard last June 4, 2014 with TREE-age (emamectin benzoate) to protect it from the emerald ash borer (EAB) insect for two years. Your tree will remain protected until it is due for its next treatment in summer of 2016. Please let us know if you see anything of concern with this tree.

Thank you for posting a positive review of the tree & shrub care services we provide for your landscape. We appreciate you taking the time and making the effort to do this. We have been providing annual tree & shrub applications since 2012. This includes a horticultural oil application for all appropriate shrubs, along with the hawthorns, arborvitae, and plum tree. A fungicide is added to this application for disease control. We also do a insect control soil injection to control psyllids on the boxwoods and scale insects on the hawthorns. The arborvitae receive an application to control spider mites, lacebugs, and scale insects. Finally, we provide an annual fall fertilization of all shrubs, plus the hawthorns, pear, spruces, maples, birch and oaks. We are grateful for your confidence in our services and will strive to maintain your trust in the coming years.

Along with the damage to people's property, storms can also create a great deal of mayhem for a tree care firm's operation. For us, the gratifying part is knowing we can respond in a timely fashion to clients' needs and in some measure, help reduce the stress for them. When reading your review, I was reminded of the time in 1995 we came out & removed your flagpole that began to teeter. Our Chim, Chim, Cher-ee Professional Chimney Sweeps also inspected and cleaned your fireplace chimney and flue in September 1995. Storm damage clean-up, flagpole removal, and chimney sweeping - quite a mixed bag of services. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to provide needed services. Description of Work: I had several trees that were in great need of pruning, and one tree that needed some help to keep alive. We had many branches taken off all the trees involved, and the affected tree was greatly cut back, allowing the healthier sections to heal and grow. All the trees look good still!

Thank you for the positive review and for giving us the opportunity to care for your trees, in particular the large red oak in your front yard. There were some very big dead limbs in that tree which was not the healthiest of trees at the time. We have been fertilizing it annually since the fall of 2012 and will be out soon to apply this year's treatment. When we first worked on your trees in '12, you were in the process of cleaning out your mother's stuff and moving into the home. Pruning dead and low-hanging limbs that extended over and quite close to your roof eliminated at least some of the many things you had to address at that time.

Description of Work: I use them for tree and shrub maintenance. They apply pesticide and protection 3 times a year for me. They do a good job. I wish it were cheaper. Each application is around $100. But they are nice and do a good job. My trees and shrubs look better and I do not have to deal with spider mites and such.
